Well, Michael Thomas Ford, how many years did you write your heart out before you considered yourself a success?
I'm not sure any writer ever feels like a success. I suppose it depends on what you want from writing--financial security, fame, critical praise, really good-looking groupies, whatever . In general, though, I think most of us always feel that we're still waiting to make it. I've been doing this full time for 20 years and will publish my 60th book this...
