She’s traveled to Rio de Janeiro, London and Oslo, audited glass molds for wine bottles in California, and taken a helicopter to a drillship off the Gulf Coast—all in the name of accounting. For the last 16 years she’s been controller at a liberal arts university in Houston, Texas handling the financial statements, the annual audit, and preparing IRS Form 990. Accounting has been good to her, but writing romance novels is her passion. In Hot Pursuit is her debut romantic suspense novel.

By day Anara is a mild-mannered writer pounding out stories on her trusty keyboard. But by night she’s the Domestic Avenger, ready to take on any and all evil that gets in her way. Okay, so the evils in question are only despicable dust bunnies and dastardly dirty dishes but they are evil. And diabolically prolific too.
In reality, Anara lives a quiet life in the suburbs with her hubby and two adorable cats, JuJube and JellyBean. Unlike most authors, Anara didn’t spend her childhood writing stories. She’d been too busy avidly reading every romance she could get her hands on. Until a friend suggested she try her hand at writing one. Rising to the challenge, she did just that, only to discover to her utter astonishment that she actually loved writing even more than reading. She’s been working away at it ever since.
In 2004 she won Lori Foster’s Brava Novella Contest which started her exciting journey towards publication. Her first published book, Ready or Not, is based on her winning entry from that contest.

They say if you scratch the surface of a cynic, you find a romantic. As a typical middle child, Kate Noble spent a good portion of her
early life developing a crusty exterior, while quietly nursing a whimsical, nougat-y core. This led her, quite naturally, to romance novels at a young age.
Nurturing the affect of the artistic emo kid, long before emo existed, Kate was also drawn into the world of cinematic storytelling, eventually going to college to study Television and Film Production. While she discovered she had no skill at camera placement or sound editing, she did have a talent for writing the scripts. But certain types of stories she wanted to tell – the ones with empire-waist dresses and Dukes and carriages, the kind she had been reading in secret since she was thirteen – were best suited to novel form. And so, she gave novel writing a try.
Fourteen months after this momentous decision, low and behold, she had a finished draft, Compromised. She revised and submitted, revised and submitted, and shockingly, got an agent, and thereafter a contract with Berkley Sensation.
Compromised became a national bestseller, earning a starred review in Booklist. She has since written Revealed (which was a 2010 RITA Finalist), the critically acclaimed The Summer of You (named a Kirkus Reviews Best Romance of 2010), and Follow My Lead, (which earned stars from both Publisher’s Weekly and Library Journal). The sensational If I Fall is the latest in her well-loved Blue Raven series.
Kate lived in New York City for a number of years before moving to Los Angeles, and would be unable to declare which city is her favorite – weather vs. culture remains the eternal debate.
