I’ve been published in Delaware Beach Magazine, Writer's Digest Magazine, and Huffpost. My successful series of children's chapter books are told through the dog’s point of view. THE VILLA DOG will take the reader to Italy; THE OLD FORTRESS DOG takes the reader to Greece; THE KONA DOG explores Hawaii and THE VALLEY FORGE DOG shares the pivotal turning point of the Revolutionary War during the Winter Encampment of 1778. All the Dog Tales Series books have been embraced by students, parents, dog lovers, travel enthusiasts and the educational community. I have participated in numerous book signings and author visits at area school ...more

That often gives way to going back to my manuscript with a sharper edge to cut deeper into the story. Essentially the key to writers block is to "keep writing" something, anything to loosen the creative juices. :) (less)

Hail Hallmark for Providing Stars to Brighten the Season

It’s the time of year when many of us indulge in the Hallmark Christmas movies while wrapping presents, decorating or simply taking a break from the hectic holiday season. Henry David Thoreau
“If one advances confidently in the direction of his dreams, and endeavors to live the life which he has imagined, he will meet with a success unexpected in common hours. He will put some things behind, will pass an invisible boundary; new, universal, and more liberal laws will begin to establish themselves around and within him; or the old laws be expanded, and interpreted in his favor in a more liberal sense, and he will live with the license of a higher order of beings.”
Henry David Thoreau, Walden or, Life in the Woods

Erma Bombeck
“Once you get a spice in your home, you have it forever. Women never throw out spices. The Egyptians were buried with their spices. I know which one I'm taking with me when I go. ”
