WOULD SHE MAKE IT HOME?

If you enjoyed Perfect this holiday season, you're probably wondering about Elizabeth and Bob. Many readers did, so I wrote this novella about their journey home. I hope enjoy this opening scene.

PERFECT MOMENTS
By
AUTUMN JORDON

Under the watchful eyes of the Frankfort authorities, the C-130J’s engines roared to life as Corporal Elizabeth Kincaid and twenty other members of her U.S. National Guard unit and two platoons of army personnel made their way across the tarmac. Finally they were...

GET YOUR MOVE ON

January is a depressing month for many. They cry cabin-fever as soon as the ball in Times Square drops. Why is that?

If you’re one of the millions who suffers each year from SAD or cabin-fever would you love to, well, not suffer?

I love winter. I’m not one to suffer from SAD or cabin-fever, but my body does slow down and the mind seems to say, “Okay, if you’re not going to move, I might as well rest too.” I didn’t want that to happen to me this year. I’ve set some pretty aggressive goals for...

SERIOUS ABOUT WRITING. IT'S NOT NANO. IT'S WAY BETTER!

One of the reasons I love winter is this January event, The Ruby Slippered-Sisterhood Winter Writing Fest. I can't wait to join the many friends I've met over the past years and dig deep into a new work. If you're a writer and are interested, read on.

Announcing the TENTH ANNUAL RUBY SLIPPERED SISTERHOOD WINTER WRITING FESTIVAL!!! Starting this FRIDAY JANUARY 10, 2020!

If you’ve joined us for the Winter Writing Festival any time during the past eight years, you know it can be a tremendously...

DO YOU HAVE GOALS?

It’s a new year and you have a burning desire to make resolutions. You visualize what you'd love to accomplish by 2021. You’re totally focused and you’re determined to meet those goals until ...da, da, da! …your first set back.

If your goal is to get up earlier, the set back will be the morning you oversleep. If your goal is to lose weight, your set back will be the first sweet you’ll gobble up. If your goal is to write every day, the setback will be the day life took over and you didn’t have...

75% off Sale on an Award-winner

April is an exciting month, isn’t it? Here in the northeast America it’s the month where mother Earth’s rebirth truly begins. Every year during this month, I get anxious to start projects—lots of them. If you follow me on Facebook, you saw I started flower and veggie seeds weeds ago. I’ve always had a hard time starting petunias, so this year I turned plastic muffins containers into little hot houses and look at the results.

I’m going to have pots of beautiful fragrant blooms. {Reminder to sel...

Best Seller Lists

I want to thank everyone who helped spread the word this week about my Loved By Darkness around the world deal. The novel made and held Amazon #1 Best Seller in mystery or romantic suspense in Canada and Australia for three days. That is huge in my world. In the UK, LBD reached the top twenty in mystery. And in the USA, it ranked as high as #49, also in mystery. And I owe it all to you, fans of my works. Thank you. Thank you!

I hope those of you who downloaded it this past week will love it an...

MY READING RECOMENDATIONS THIS MONTH

I love to read and will read just about anything, including directions to put a bookcase together. I believe you’re the same. Otherwise why would you be reading my blog. Lol

I thought I’d share with you what I found interesting or enjoyable this past month. (The links are Amazon as I’m a Kindle reader)

For my romantic suspense mystery fans, I need to tell you about Along Came A Cowboy by Bev Pettersen. Actually, I read this book right after it came out. It was great. It’s a little different t...

Burning Down The House

Some days I know I should’ve stayed in bed. Yesterday was one.

My day started off great. Really it did. I got up, did some writing and then only left five minutes late for my monthly meeting with the Pocono-Lehigh writers. It’s so good to get together face-to-face with other writers. We share what is going on in our personal lives, learning that none of us have an easy time of it to find moments to write. However, despite day jobs and family obligations we keep on putting pen to paper every ch...

Its George Washingtons birthday and I will not lie....

Its George Washingtons birthday and I will not lie. I really like my day job. Yes. Its Friday, but if was any other day of the week, Id tell you the same thing. I like what I do. However, my passion is telling a great story~working with the characters and writing my thoughts and theirs down. Since I dont work this weekend, Ill be working on my next romantic suspense.

This time of year in the northeast, some people like go to the movies, or skiing, or bowling , or shopping the...
