I mean I know he’s not home. He’s out with that little bitch, but as soon as he gets back. I’d really appreciate it.”

The Tuesday Tease!
Happy Tuesday! We're sweltering here in SoCal. I'm so ready for fall. I hope the weather feels the same.
Book news! Did you catch the cover reveal for Rock Candy Kisses? Here it is again for those who might have missed it.
Isn't she pretty? I'm in love with both the cover and Annie's story. Rock Candy Kisses (3:AM Kisses #5, coming early 2015). Click on the cover to add to Goodreads!
Beautiful Illusions! I'm all done with edits and onto the final read-throughs! Yay!!!! I should have it to my formatter sooner than later. The release date has been set for September 30th! I can't wait to give you Gavin's story. He's sweet, sexy, and have I mentioned hotter than a grease fire? Mmm. But I digress, Demi is pretty awesome too. She's a strong woman with an entire shroud of deep dark secrets that unravel seemingly forever.
The Dragon and the Rose! It's basically at a standstill until I finish reading Beautiful Illusions until my eyes fall out or my glasses shatter, both most likely. BUT! It's unfolding right before my eyes and so far everyone with a point of view in the novel has a very strong plot line (always a good thing). Also, I'm working on the cover. It will be very similar to Celestra Forever After, so, fair warning, but there are plenty of neck-breaking twists within the text.

I believe you doled out visions in exchange for kisses.”He raises a brow and pauses to look over. “Are you in the mood for one of our revelating exchanges?”“No. I’m in the mood for a specially crafted spirit sword.” I slink down in my seat and close my eyes because I can’t believe what’s about to spew from my lips. “There’s a Fem I need to kill.”

Cover reveal! Rock Candy Kisses!
Here it is! Annie finally gets her own book! The Tuesday teaser!
Look who decided to show up? (me!) Sorry about last Tuesday, but here we are again with Monday behind us and Friday already looming on the horizon. Yes!
Speaking of Friday, I have another cover reveal coming up! This time for ROCK CANDY KISSES (3:AM Kisses #5) Annie's story! Yay!!! I can't wait to get this one to you. Just thinking about it gives me the warm fuzzies. I know a few of you especially are looking forward to Annie's story as much as I am. For those who don't quite remember Annie, she's Bryson and Holt's younger sister who happens to be deaf. Her story is close to my heart since my father and son are hard of hearing, both deaf in one ear and partial hearing in the other. I'm doing quite a bit of research for Rock Candy because I'm determined to get this right. I think you'll be pleased with how the story unfolds, delicately yet in an exciting manner that Annie is worthy of.
Book news! The Dragon and the Rose. I'm hanging out with the naughty Sector again. It's raining something awful on Paragon (no news there) and surprises abound around every corner. To quote Chloe Bishop, "Oh, what a wicked web we weave." Indeed, there are no truer words, especially when it comes to our Paragon peeps. The thing with any Celestra book is it takes more time than others to complete (simply because it's paranormal and takes place outside of the natural world—so many rules, demons and angels oh my!) It's smexy. Be warned.
Other book news! Beautiful Illusions (Beautiful Oblivion #2) is coming together! Edits are underway and I have about two weeks until I tie a pretty little bow over the manuscript and toss it to the ground to use as a doorstop because that baby is done. I should have it in your hands by the end of the month. I'm toying with about 3 release dates right now and I'll let you know which I land on very, very soon. Can I just tell you how much I've swooned over Gavin Jackson??? Gavin is all man, and I can't wait until I can properly introduce you to him. (Or reintroduce as it were since we briefly met Gavin in Beautiful Oblivion.) Gavin and Demi's story is unique and the way the plot unfurls is unlike any story I've written before so I truly hope you'll enjoy it.

He’s not the type of man I’m usually paired with, but then, this is the first time I’m advancing to a bodily exchange for cash.

The Wednesday Tease?!
Yikes! Sorry about forgetting that Tuesday actually follows Monday—but in my defense it was Labor Day and I enjoyed the last day of summer right down to the dregs. It was dreamy. I read. All. Day. Long. Bliss!!! Actually I read post 2 in the afternoon. Before that I took my parents to lunch since it was their 50th wedding anniversary. It was amazing and miraculous to see that people still get to hit that jaw-dropping milestone. I'm planning a big party for them later in the month so the afternoon was low-key but it still felt dreamlike. The day was set in a perfect warm summer haze so everything felt magical. I told my husband we both need to survive long enough to hit our 50th because it's on my bucket list. One of my sons agreed to take us to Chuck E. Cheese on that momentous day so it's all set. I might have to usurp him when the time comes. But I digress!
Book news! I have another cover reveal coming soon (possibly Friday) stayed tuned!
*BEAUTIFUL ILLUSIONS is done and in the hands of my editor and betas!!! Look for a release date soon. I'm thinking mid to end of September.
*THE DRAGON AND THE ROSE is front burner! Yes! I'm finally back on Paragon full time. *Waves at all the handsome boys that the island has to offer* Lots of surprises, a few jaw dropping moments, and an ending you won't want to miss. I promise. :)

Happy Tuesday! So glad Monday is done. I vote we nix it from the calendar. Only four days till the weekend!
On a serious note, I was challenged by the Poulin Family Florida, over on Facebook, to participate in the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, and I of course accepted sans the bathing suit and ice. Instead I happily donated the requisite $100. in the name of my husband's uncle who passed a few years ago from the horrible disease. I hope good things come from this amazing donation vehicle that's swept the country and a cure is found soon.

Beautiful Illusions is done! I'm about a week behind in handing it over to my betas and editor but I blame summer for that. I really drank it down this year and enjoyed every crazy minute of it. I hope you'll enjoy Demi and Gavin's story, coming (hopefully) mid to late September!

(Demi’s POV)Kennedy scoops up her drink and laptop. “It’s national buy-your-girlfriend-flowers-day.” She gives me a quick wink before speeding for the door. “I’ll catch you, two later. Please do things I wouldn’t—and report back to me. It makes life that much more interesting. Make it dirty!” “Dirty?” Gavin mouths as I spin into him. His cheeks, his eyes they smile without his lips. It’s a neat trick that only Gavin seems able to pull off.“Do you know that you’re fiercely attractive when you’re amused?” I sneak a kiss off his ultra soft mouth.
The Dragon and the Rose (Celestra Forever After #2) Skyla’s POV (Skyla and Brielle. Brielle is teaching Skyla a few specialized “techniques” using Melissa’s supersized teddy bear as a prop.)
“Okay, then you round your hips over him like this.” She throws her head back and breaks out into a series of fake passionate moans. Her eyes are closed and she’s riding that overstuffed bear, fast and hard—and, dear God, I don’t think she’s faking anymore. For a second I contemplate pulling out my phone and taking a picture, but if word gets back to Melissa that Bree defiled her “baby” this way, I’m sure the entire universe will have to pay.
