I found a Californian website that for $10 will provide feedback on the first ten pages of a new screenplay. I received very positive feedback on what I'd written in my first attempt at a movie script plus some valuable tips on what I might do to improve it.
"Agnus Dei" is being re-published in paperback at present and will soon be in book shops in Australia followed by the US and the UK.
My next legal thriller, "Sleeping With Angels" is currently going through the editing process and should be at least published electronically in December 2014/January 2015.
Hard copies of my latest release "Agnus Dei" arrived this week. They look great, all credit to the publishers. Now for the marketing, the real challenge.
I've just been Internet surfing (a bit too cold for the other kind). My latest release "Agnus Dei" appears in an amazing array of online bookstores around the world. Let's up avid readers of legal thrillers get the message.
This year's annual literary lunch hosted by the Gold Coast Writers' Association was a great success. It was so good to catch up with old friends and especially Kay Danes OAM who was the guest speaker. Her talk was fascinating and entertaining and was received with enthusiasm by all who attended. Congratulations to that small number of hard working committee members who make this event so memorable each year.
My next author talk will be at Burleigh Heads Library, Fradgley Hall at 10:30 am on Wednesday 19 March. The main topic will be "Calvus" though I will obviously mention "The Election" and "Agnus Dei." I will have copies of "Calvus" and "The Election" for sale.
Although Agnus Dei is as yet unavailable in hard copy direct from the publisher Custom Book Publications, it can be bought in paperback from Amazon and The Book Depository, the latter post free from the UK.
My next author talk will be back at Helensvale Library at 11:30 am on Saturday 18 January. My talk there in December went very well so I'm looking forward to returning.
