Dynamics GP Land: Consultant Tools Series: Travel Power Outlets

This only tangentially related to GP but Steve Endow looks Travel Power Outlets as part of his Consultant Tools series.

I have my own favorite. It's the old fashioned, 3 outlet, bright orange plastic adapter. No it doesn't have fancy USB plugs, but short of pulling out a prong, it's nearly indestructible. Plus, they are about $3 at any grocery store or hardware store in the U.S. so I don't feel bad when I accidently leave one in a hotel or airport charging station.

The right angles make easy to plug in any kind of adapter, no matter how big. The design does hold things away from the wall which is only an issue when the plug is behind the bed. It's also surprisingly compact in my bag.

The Dynamics GP Blogster: Microsoft Dynamics GP Roadmap Update - Welcome codename GP "15"

Mariano shows off the Welcome codename GP "15". I'm not greedy. We can call code name '12' Gomez. I'll take 'Polino' as the new code name for GP '14'. Heck I'll take '15' and we can call '14' version 'Pam'.

Do not use the DEX_ROW_ID table column in your Customizations and Integrations

Dave Musgrave reminds us: Do not use the DEX_ROW_ID table column in your Customizations and Integrations

This is stuff you should really know but I know the GP space gets new people every day. Listen to Dave.
