Is Microsoft Dynamics AX Becoming the Betamax of the ERP World to NAV's VHS? | MSDynamicsWorld.com
Writing at MSDynamicsWorld.com, Sam Vin-Dycan asks Is Microsoft Dynamics AX Becoming the Betamax of the ERP World to NAV's VHS?
What does this have to do with GP you ask? Well the arguments that Sam makes about NAV & AX with respect to the UK market have a lot of similarities to GP and AX in the U.S. market. It's worth reading.[image error]

Weekly Review: System Date on Startup
A common process at month end is for users
to set the system date back to the previous month in Dynamics GP. This helps
prevent users from accidently posting into a the current month during the month
end close process. A simple way to make this easier is to add a shortcut to the
User Date field into the Startup folder. Now, every time a user logs in they
will be prompted to set or accept the system date.
