Honestly, I'm rereading JR Ward's BLACK DAGGER BROTHERHOOD again. I'm studying the way she builds the character relationships and develops the world building rules for this series. My next 'study' will be rereading Karen Moning's FAE series. I want to study her technique for her over-arcing plot. Are you sorry you asked? *grin*

Hello Beth, Thanks for inviting me to stop by. For your readers, they should pick up a copy of TIES TO THE BLOOD MOON, a new YA/urban fantasy series.

Here is a short blurb: A teenage girl moves in with her aunt in Alaska after the tragic death of her mother. Soon after her arrival she learns that the things she was raised to believe only existed in fairytales are in fact a big part of her history. When it gets to be too much she seeks refuge in the arms of her boyfriend, only to find out he's not who she thought he was either.

I'm reading M C Beaton's DEATH OF A CHIMNEY SWEEP and loving it. He knows how to write the perfect cozy mystery to help with the oncoming winter months.
M. C Beaton lives in the Cotswolds. By the way she also writes the Agatha Raisin series.

Just started reading Across the Universe by Beth Revis. Granted I'm not far along, but I'm LOVING it and would definitely recommend it so far. The first chapter really got to me.

Found it because Amazon recommended based on my other purchases, and the cover is beyond beautiful so it did catch my eye. Just realized there's a sequel coming out in January and that put me over the moon. Try it!

Hello Buffy, it is amazing what you can find on your own shelves in your house. Old classic novels can speak so true today and you would never know if you don't pull one down and occasionally read it. I do. Thanks for sharing.

I'm reading Adam Bede by George Eliot. Not sure I like it. But I was trawling my dad's shelves for something to read and there it was. I'd read Middlemarch, which was okay, and it is a classic, so....

Well, here I am sliding in just at the last 30 minutes of the day......oopsy. Thanks for the invite. Today is RELEASE DAY for my second Adams Grove Novel so it's been a little crazy.

OUT OF FOCUS is about a commercial photographer, Kasey Phillips, who thinks her biggest problem in the world is deciding whether to photograph Cody Tuggle's honky-tonkin' tour...until an accident on Route 58 claims the life of her husband.

As hurricane Ernesto threatens the eastern seaboard a community pulls together in a race against time to search for Kasey's three-year-old son, Jake, who is missing from the wreckage.

When others give up, she stands firm that she knows Jake is out there - somewhere. Unlikely friends come together to help her, but someone knows more than they are telling.

Hugs and happy reading,
Nancy Naigle

Thanks for inviting me here to chat. I am Nancy B. Brewer- historical fiction author/poet and storyteller. I believe everything we need to know about the future we can learn from the past. My books teach as they entertain and spellbound. Historical accurancy is my goal and my books have won awards for their historical content. I would like to invite you to step back in time with me. Follow me from the sandy shores of Charleston, South Carolina to the fields of North Carolina. See history and romance unfold. There were lost loves, lost fortunes and many of those I love are forever silent. It is for their sake, I have found the courage to tell my story-
