Kill Me, Kiss Me by Kristina Stangl (New Release!)

Hi All,

I’m excited to announce the new release to the fourth installment to my series Sex, Lies & Politics called: Kill Me, Kiss Me.

This romantic enemies-to-lovers novella is now available via, Ebook and Paperback. For more information, as well as the link to purchase, please visit my website at www.kristinastangl.com.

Here is the synopsis:

Kill me or kiss me, sometimes, the only way to gain a husband’s attention is to kidnap him…

Twelve years ago, they got married. As childhood friends, Kayla Steuber and Jack Warner came from opposite worlds. While she was born with a wooden spoon and raised by her grandmother out in a remote cabin in the woods; he was born with a silver spoon and grew up within his family’s esteemed estate, Cerulean Manor.

However, in a twist of fate, Kayla is struck by an unexpected illness and is forced to marry her childhood friend. A marriage rooted in paper. But as Jack departs for the east coast to attend college, Kayla is left behind at Cerulean Manor to endure the cruel abuse spawned by her mother-in-law, Vivian Warner, and her household staff. Desperate to flee from her unfortunate fate, Kayla reluctantly accepts Vivian’s offer to abandon her marriage and start a new life in another city.

Several years later, Kayla, an entrepreneur with a flower shop in San Francisco, is determined to move on from her estranged husband. After requesting for a divorce through an exchange of emails, Jack has chosen to ignore her. And now, as the newly elected Senator of California, it’s become even more difficult to reach him. Furthermore, according to the press, Jack has a “wife” who lives overseas. Apart from her name, Mrs. Warner, not much else is known about the mysterious first lady.

Meanwhile, Jack’s office has agreed to a billion-dollar project to renovate Kayla’s community. Translation: In a matter of weeks, her local business will be forced to shut down and vacate the premise. Plus, after several unsuccessful attempts to reach him, Kayla is determined to confront Jack, once and for all. And to do so, she’s willing to kidnap him. Force him to withdraw from the project and to at long last, divorce her for good.

But to Kayla’s great surprise, when she finally comes face-to-face with her estranged husband, Jack simply laughs. Unfortunately, her gun failed to scare him off and furthermore, he claims that he still has no plans to divorce her. Apparently, the project only served as the aims to bring her back to him.

“Either, you kill me, now,” he mischievously spoke, with a wicked grin resting upon his handsome face. “Or kiss me. Take your pick.”

Like all the books in this series, this is a stand-alone and can be read in any order.

Happy Reading!

The Emerald Prince by Kristina Stangl (Favorite Quotes)

Hi All,

Here are a few of my favorite quotes from my latest novel, The Emerald Prince.

“... having loved you, what I once found ugly, now, I see nothing short but beauty.”
― Kristina Stangl, The Emerald Prince

“My fairest Daphne,
Treasure of my eyes,
Pearl of my heart,
Whose beauty is as lovely,
As a blooming laurel tree in spring,
With eyes as green as sparkling emeralds,
And hair as bright as a burning fire,
At first sight, this fair maiden captured my heart,
As she silently sat there,
Reading underneath a laurel tree,
While patiently waiting for her prince to come,
One glimpse at her and I knew,
That I was lost to her forever,
Even in my curious green state,
With nothing else to hold,
But my lily pad floating above the pond,
Alas, I understood,
That she was the one,
The owner of my beating heart,
If only she but knew.”
― Kristina Stangl, The Emerald Prince

“Come hell or high water, I will gift you the entire world and everything in it. Every desire, hope and wish, traveling upon a shooting star.”
― Kristina Stangl, The Emerald Prince

“And while her kiss might have transformed the little emerald green frog into a dashing and charming mortal prince; his kiss, in return, turned her into a real-life princess, as well. Thus far, they were even.”
― Kristina Stangl, The Emerald Prince

“Truly, it was bad enough that she agreed to kiss a frog; let alone, kiss him right after eating a disgusting fly! Another small creature that Daphne also equally detested, right after frogs. Frogs. Flies. Perhaps, she was the real one cursed, after all!”
― Kristina Stangl, The Emerald Prince

“After spending years tucked away within the dusty old libraries of her family’s estates, she was more comfortable with a book in hand than that of a sword.”
― Kristina Stangl, The Emerald Prince

“In a world filled with laughter, free balloons and happy children, this was the ideal place where she wanted to call home.”
― Kristina Stangl, The Emerald

“Just so you know, my fairest Daphne, you are the perfect emerald princess. I honestly couldn’t have kissed a better maiden than you.”
― Kristina Stangl, The Emerald

“Whether you love or hate something, familiarity is everything.”
― Kristina Stangl, The Emerald Prince

“The world might see us as a married couple, but you and I shall be the best of friends.”
― Kristina Stangl, The Emerald Prince

Enjoy!
