The Simplest Instructions for The Christian Life
We all wish that sometimes God would just cut to the chase and tell us. Tell us what He wants us to do. Tell us what is in store for our future. Tell us how we are supposed to live. Because we want to make the right choice. We want to skip all the missteps. So if God wants us to live the lives He’s called us to, then why doesn’t He just give us the easiest, clearest instructions to do that? Wouldn’t that save us all a lot of trouble and uncertainty? In this clip from our series Where Are They Now?, Pastor Steven explains to us that as Christians, God has already given us instructions for the simplest way to live for Christ – the very same way we received Him.
We all remember growing up with our favorite TV shows, bands and heartthrobs. Ever wonder where they went? They were stars for a little while. They never thought it would end. But then, it did. And we all know friends or family whose relationships with Jesus and church could end the same way. Discover why it lasts for some people, and why, for others, we end up asking “Where Are They Now?” Watch the entire Where Are They Now? series.

When You Think God Doesn’t Care Anymore
There are always going to be events in our lives that we wish had happened differently. Talents and blessings we wish we had. Trials and circumstances we wish we could have avoided. And we catch ourselves asking God if He still cares about us. We think maybe we just slipped His mind, or maybe He set our lives on cruise control and we veered off course. But in this clip from our series Treatment, Pastor Steven uses Matthew 6:25-26 as backdrop for explaining just how much God cares for you and me, no matter what we think our circumstances are telling us.
No one wants to admit they have issues. We’d rather keep our problems to ourselves. But you’re not alone. The time has come to break free, expose our weaknesses and get it all on the table. Watch the entire Treatment series.

The Secret to Overpowering Your Fears
We are all afraid of something. And for most of us, these fears are preventing us from reaching our greatest potential. Fear of acceptance. Fear of failure. Fear of not being in control. The thing is, many of these fears aren’t even rational. They’re exaggerated lies that Satan wants us to believe about us, about our circumstances and about God. And these lies can lead us into some dark situations.
In part two of our series ‘Room 101: Facing Your Greatest Fears,’ Pastor Steven teaches through the life of Elijah to show us three powerful techniques God uses to help us overpower our fears in the face of the Enemy. Watch this entire sermon from Room 101.

What To Tell Your Biggest Critic
We are typically our own biggest critics. We tell ourselves that we don’t read the Bible enough. We don’t pray enough. We screw up too much and too often. These are the lies that Satan whispers in our ear. As Christians, the Enemy may not be able to have our souls, but he wants more than anything to convince us that we’re unworthy, our impact is limited, and that we can’t make a difference for the Kingdom. In this clip, Pastor Steven explains to us that John the Baptist had these same struggles. But fortunately for him – and for us – Jesus had the last word.

Tapping the Full Potential of Your Power
Think about the most difficult circumstances you’ve experienced in your life. The hard times. The struggles. What was your reaction? Did you fight or run? Did you give in or overcome? For many Christians, we begin to lose the fight when we magnify the problem. But why do we do this? In this clip from our series Grapes and Giants, Pastor Steven uses an iPad and Ephesians to remind us about the power we are all plugged into – but in the face of trial, we rarely use.
You have been chosen for a great journey, but it will not be easy. You will face many challenges along the way. You will come up against giants. But you must remember the promises – you will taste the fruit of the land and all its riches. You will experience blessings and battles. You will be victorious. You will overcome. The One Thing You Should Be Afraid Of
To kick off our series Room 101: Facing Your Greatest Fears, Pastor Steven laid the groundwork for the next few weeks by helping us wrestle through a complicated but powerful concept – how can we be commanded repeatedly throughout the Bible to “fear God” while at the same time being told by God “Do not fear”? How can both of these commands coexist? And as Christians, is there still something we should ultimately be afraid of? Watch this entire sermon from Room 101.

Baptism: What’s The Point?
Baptism can be a tricky subject for many Christians to figure out. We tend to have a lot of questions about the subject. Do I have to get baptized to go to heaven? Does it complete my salvation process? The whole ordeal seems a little bizarre – what’s the point of it anyway? In this clip from our series Follow, in which over 2,100 people came forward to baptized in two weekends at our church, Pastor Steven outlines the simple purpose and motivation of baptism, and shows us the very real danger when we try to do life, not just baptism, our own way.
I have decided to follow Jesus. What does it mean to follow someone? Do you echo their footsteps? Imitate their every move? Does it mean you are right behind them at every cost? Watch the entire Follow series.

What To Do With Your Bad Days
We all have our best days. Days when it all goes great. When the sun shines brighter. When our kids behave. When we’re on time. When we break through. When we succeed, prevail and overcome. We praise God and thank Him for working in our lives. These are the great days.
And then – there are the bad days.
When it all falls apart. When it all goes wrong. When we get blindsided. When we waste time. When we screw up, fall short and ignore God. What are we supposed to do with those days? How do we reconcile them with what God says about us? In this clip from our series Treatment, Pastor Steven uses the book of Lamentations and basketball to illustrate the beauty of God’s daily mercies.
No one wants to admit they have issues. We’d rather keep our problems to ourselves. But you’re not alone. The time has come to break free, expose our weaknesses and get it all on the table. Watch the entire Treatment series.
