Leaked Video Suggests Israeli Health Officials Covered Up Serious Safety Problems With Pfizer COVID Vaccine

By Suzanne Burdick, Ph.D.

A leaked video recording reveals researchers in June shared data with the Israeli Ministry of Health showing serious and long-term side effects associated with Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine, but Israeli health officials told the public in an August report that serious side effects were “rare” and short-term.

A leaked video recording reveals researchers in June shared data with the Israeli Ministry of Health (MOH) showing serious and long-term side effects associated with Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine.

However, the MOH did not disclose the researchers’ findings to the expert committee that met later that month to decide on recommending the vaccine for children under age 5, or with leaders of Israel’s COVID-19 vaccine booster program.

Additionally, the MOH on Aug. 2 issued a report — on adverse events following the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine from Dec. 9, 2021, to May 31, 2022 — that contradicted the data presented during the early-June meeting.

“In fact, the report completely contradicts what was said in this discussion,” Retsef Levi, Ph.D., a professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and member of the Israeli Public Emergency Council for the Covid19 Crisis, told GB News in an Aug. 21 interview.

Yaffa Shir-Raz, Ph.D., health communication and pharmaceutical companies public relations strategy researcher at Reichman University in Herzliya, Israel, translated the June meeting from Hebrew into English.

The English translation shows the research team warned MOH officials they should think carefully about how to present the researchers’ findings to the public because they posed a potential legal risk, as the findings contradicted MOH’s claims that serious side effects are rare and short-term.

Shir-Raz tweeted on Sept. 1 an excerpt from the recorded meeting in which the research team warned MOH seniors they would have to think of the legal ramifications of the team’s findings.

According to the video recording, the researchers informed MOH officials about the many reports of serious and long-term side effects of the Pfizer vaccine, including side effects Pfizer didn’t list on the patient information leaflet, such as digestive side effects — especially abdominal pain in children — and back pain.

Additionally, Levi told GB News:

“On the free text part of the form, where patients were allowed to report whatever they wanted to, they [the researchers] observed and got many, many reports of neurological side effects — some not currently listed by Pfizer as side effects of the vaccine.”

The researchers also noted many cases of what Levi called the “re-challenge phenomenon” — or the recurrence or worsening of a side effect following repeated doses of the vaccine — which the researchers said indicated there was most likely a causal link between the vaccine and many side effects.

“The research team repeatedly stressed during the discussion,” Shir-Raz said in her translation and summary in English, “that their findings indicate that — contrary to what we were told so far — in many cases, serious adverse events are long-term, that last weeks, months, a year, or even more, and in some cases — ongoing, so that the side effect still lasted when the study was over.”

The side effects included menstrual irregularities and various neurological side effects, muscle-skeletal injuries, GI problems and kidney and urinary system adverse events, Shir-Raz said.

According to Levi’s review of the meeting footage, the researchers expressed a sentiment of “concern” and felt their “conscience” bothered them by the reality of their findings.

The researchers told the MOH officials their findings contradicted the MOH’s prior messaging that the vaccine was safe and side effects were both rare and short-lasting.

In 50% of the reports in which a duration was specified by the individual, the researchers said, the duration was over six months, according to the video’s English subtitles.

Moreover, in 65% of the neurological cases that mentioned a duration, the individuals reported their symptoms were ongoing, Levi said.

“Now it turns out that the reality is not what the narrative was promoting,” Levi said. “The side effects are long-term and serious.”

The research team told the MOH officials:

“You have to think very very carefully about how you communicate this to the public because you may open yourself to legal lawsuits and liability issues because what you promoted is, in fact, not the reality in what we see in the reports.”

Despite the importance of this discussion, Dr. Sharon Alroy-Preis, head of public health services at MOH — and the person who signed the contract with Pfizer — was not present during the meeting. The researchers repeatedly asked MOH officials to make sure Dr. Alroy-Preis saw their findings

The MOH commissioned the Shamir Medical Center team of researchers with experience in pharmacovigilance to analyze the data from the adverse effects reporting system launched in Dec. 2021.

Although Israel began its COVID-19 vaccination campaign in 2020, it did not have an adverse effect reporting system until the end of 2021.

Steve Kirsch, executive director of the Vaccine Safety Research Foundation, commented on the news in a Sept. 2 Substack post, asking, “Why didn’t they release the original presentation made by the safety team?”

“There needs to be an investigation ASAP into what happened, but the head of the MoH, Nitzan Horowitz, isn’t calling for one,” he said.

“The precautionary principle of medicine now demands an immediate halt to the COVID vaccination program,” Kirsch said.

Kirsch also commented on the lack of media coverage of the Israeli researchers’ findings:

“Dr. Sharon Alroy-Preis, the Health Ministry’s head of public services and a top COVID adviser to the Israeli government, issued no public statement.

“Leaders of our ‘trusted institutions’ all over the world said absolutely nothing after the news broke on August 20, 2022.

“This suggests that there is widespread corruption in the medical community, government agencies, among public health officials, the mainstream media, and social media companies worldwide: they will not acknowledge any event that goes against the mainstream narrative.

“This is a level of corruption that is unprecedented. The atrocities here are clear-cut.

The Role of the Kushan Empire in the First Silk Road

Episode 18 – Lost Kushan Empire

Foundations of Eastern Civilization

Dr Craig Benjamin

Film Review

The Kushan, originally descended from Yuezhi nomads,* were the great Silk Road facilitators. Their empire extended from Uzbekistan in the north to Central India and from the Iranian Plateau to the Tarim Basin** in the East.  By the early first century AD, the Han Empire had also expanded to incorporate much of Central Asia as tributary states. This brought them into direct contact with the Kushan, who eventually controlled all the east-west and north-south Silk Road trade routes.

Because the Kushan had no literature of their own, most of their history is reconstructed from historical accounts and their coins. Imprinted with a distinctive Bactrian script employing Sanskrit grammar and Greek letters, the latter frequently commemorated royal lines of succession, foreign conquest. and various religious icons of their subjects.

Major achievements if the Kushan Empire included creating a new dating system and subsidizing numerous schools of sculpture (based on Greco-Roman and Persian sculpture), which would have a major influence on all all Asian art. The Kushan are credited with creating the first sculptural likeness of the Buddha.

Major patrons of Buddhism, they also called the first world conference on Buddhism to consolidate Buddhist doctrine, which the Kushan government translated into Sanskrit for wide dissemination.

The demise of the Kushan Empire was triggered by an invasion by the new Sasssanian Empire in Persia, destroying their capitol and palaces. However the Gupta Empire, which reunified India in the 4th century AD retained many Kushan influences.

*Long time rivals of the Xiongu nomads, who forced the Yuezhi to migrate to the Central Steppes and resettle in Bactria in 130 BC (ten years prior to their visit from Han Dynasty envoy Zhang Xian).

Case Mounting for Inquiry into NZ Govt’s Management of Covid Pandemic

Point of Order

Only  now  are  some  of  the  true  costs  for  New Zealanders of  the   Covid pandemic and  the  government’s  imposition of  lockdowns in those  far-off  days  of 2020 and  2021  becoming apparent.

They are being felt  daily in every  household, and  not  just through the  surge in the  cost of  living. They  will be felt for years to  come  through servicing the  big  rise in the  national  debt incurred  during  those  lockdowns

Not so  obvious, but  just  as  onerous.  will be the  impact  of  Covid  on  major  construction  projects. Only  this week  Dr Sean  Sweeney, CEO of  City Rail Link project, wrote in the  NZ  Herald of the  direct  impact of  full  lockdowns  on  the   project’s sites and  the  ongoing  impact  of  more  than 280  days  in  which  Auckland  was  either  at  lockdown level 3 with  borders closed, or  level 2 with restrictions  to  site  operations.

Furthermore, there had  been the  impact  of  closed borders   on  site  resources.  The  global  supply  chain  was  also severely  disrupted.

Dr  Sweeeny says these effects delayed  the  project and   combined to lift building  cost inflation to levels  unheard  since  the  high inflation  years  of the 1970s  and  1980s.

CRL  has been  working   with  its  design  construction  partner , the Link Alliance, to  agree on  what  the  actual  time and  cost impacts to the project are.

In April 2021,CRL advised its project sponsors,    the  Crown  and  Auckland  Council, it  could not give a revised project time and  cost status. Since  January 2020  it  has been  working  with  the Link Alliance  to  quantify all  Covid  costs and impact since  June 2020.

It doesn’t expect this to be finished  until the end  of  this  year.

Just  what will be the  final  cost of  completing  the CRL, (which  will undoubtedly transform Auckland’s  transport  system) is  anybody’s  guess  at  the  moment. The  only thing  certain is  that it  will be  a  shock for Auckland  ratepayers.

The  project   back  in 2019  had  a  cost  estimate  of  $4.4bn.  Anyone  reading  between  the  lines  of  Dr  Sweeney’s  article  might think  he  was  preparing  Auckland ratepayers, the CRL’s  customers,  and taxpayers generally  for the  worst.

This reinforces   the  call  for  an  inquiry   which came  from  former politician  Richard  Prebble this  week..

Prebble  has  his own slant  on the  need for the inquiry.   He  says  it  should   not  be  to apportion blame—that serves no useful purpose —  but says “we need an inquiry to be better prepared for the next pandemic”.

He  argues the government needs to abandon the New Zealand model, the traffic lights, compulsory isolation and the mandates.

“Adopt the Swedish model. Trust the people to use their common sense”.

Prebble  notes  that internationally for the first two years of the pandemic, New Zealand’s response was praised.

He  went  on to observe that commentators often frame the discussion as New Zealand v Sweden.

“Sweden’s refusal to lockdown or issue mandates, relying instead on their citizens’ common sense, was scorned. Swedes pictured in April 2020 socialising in Stockholm while New Zealand was in lockdown. Sweden responded saying that in three years their infection and death rates from Covid will be no higher than countries that have locked down, quarantined and issued mandates. Sweden said they will not have deprived people of their liberties, damaged their children’s education or harmed their economy.

“Unlike New Zealand, Sweden has held an independent Corona Commission into its response. The Commission was critical of initial inadequate protection to those in care homes that resulted in 90 per cent of all Covid deaths.

“The Commission found that the Swedish Covid death rate was lower than European countries that locked down. The Commission determined the no lockdown strategy was correct, saying the state should only limit the liberty of citizens when absolutely necessary.”

The commission praised the decision to keep schools open, noting Swedish pupils have not had their education disrupted.

In contrast, international researchers have become increasingly critical of New Zealand’s response, Prebble says,

He  cites epidemiologist and health economist at Stanford University School of Medicine, Professor Jay Bhattacharya:

“New Zealand’s Zero Covid strategy was immoral, incoherent and a grand failure.”

The Stanford professor says New Zealand has experienced more Covid cases per capita throughout the pandemic than the US and

“… there are the enormous economic, psychological and additional health costs of lockdown that the population will pay out for over the coming year.”

Prebble  reckons the cost of Labour’s failed zero Covid policy to citizens, the economy, health and to education has been huge.

The only country still following the New Zealand model of lockdowns, quarantines and mandates is the police state of communist China.

Americans Can Now Expect to Live Three Years Less Than Cubans

Newsweek

Life expectancy in the U.S. has dropped sharply in the last two years, to the point that now the average Cuban will live nearly three years more than the average American.

The latest numbers released by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) show that, in 2021, U.S. life expectancy at birth is now 76.1 years, dropping by nearly a full year from the 2020 figure.

Life expectancy for men is now 73.2, and for women, it is 79.9.

The decline means that several countries have caught up with or surpassed the U.S. According to World Bank data, Cuba’s life expectancy is 78.9, and China’s is 77.1, although both figures are from 2020 rather than 2021.

Other countries that are ahead of the U.S. in terms of life expectancy include: Colombia, Uruguay and Chile; Costa Rica, Panama and Puerto Rico; and Turkey, Greece and Albania.

All of those countries have a GDP per head in dollar terms that is less than half of that of Americans.

The U.S. ranks around 50th in the world for life expectancy (depending on data and what is considered a country or territory), and this has dropped 2.7 years since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Judge Gives Fauci 21 Days to Turn Over Emails With Social Media Giants

anthony fauci social media emails featureBy Suzanne Burdick, Ph.D.

A federal judge on Tuesday ordered Dr. Anthony Fauci and the White House Press Secretary to hand over their communications with five social media giants. The ruling stems from a lawsuit alleging the Biden administration colluded with the companies to censor COVID-19 viewpoints that weren’t aligned with the administration’s official narrative.

A federal judge on Tuesday ordered top-ranking Biden administration officials — including Dr. Anthony Fauci and White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre — to hand over their communications with five social media giants within 21 days.

The ruling stems from a lawsuit filed earlier this year by Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt and Louisiana Attorney General Jeffrey Landry alleging the Biden administration colluded with Big Tech firms Twitter, Meta (Facebook’s parent company), Youtube, Instagram and LinkedIn to censor certain viewpoints under the guise of preventing the circulation of “misinformation” or “disinformation.”

U.S. District Judge Terry Doughty in July ordered the Biden administration to swiftly produce records requested by the plaintiffs as part of the discovery process.

On Aug. 2, Schmitt and Landry filed discovery requests seeking documents and information from the National Institute of Allergies and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) and its director, Fauci; White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre; Surgeon General Dr. Vivek Murthy; and former Disinformation Governance Board executive director Nina Jankowicz.

Attorneys for the plaintiffs also sent discovery requests to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC); the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency and its director, Jen Easterly; the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS); and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).

The requests resulted in a cache of documents revealing more than 50 Biden administration workers and 12 U.S. agencies had been involved in a censorship push over social media.

However, some government officials — including Fauci — refused to provide records or answer any questions posed by the plaintiffs, claiming the communications were protected under executive privilege.

The government claimed Fauci should not be required to answer the plaintiff’s questions or provide records related to his capacity as NIAID director or related to his capacity as Biden’s chief medical officer. Additionally, the government sought to withhold records and responses from Jean-Pierre.

Judge Doughty on Tuesday broke the stalemate by ruling that both Fauci and Jean-Pierre must comply with the interrogatories and hand over the requested records.

“First,” Judge Doughty said in the ruling, “the requested information is obviously very relevant to Plaintiffs’ claims. Dr. Fauci’s communications would be relevant to Plaintiffs’ allegations in reference to alleged suppression of speech relating to the lab-leak theory of COVID-19’s origin, and to alleged suppression of speech about the efficiency of masks and COVID-19 lockdowns. Jean-Pierre’s communications as White House Press Secretary could be relevant to all of Plaintiffs’ examples.”

Download for Free: Robert F. Kennedy’s New Book — ‘A Letter to Liberals’

According to Judge Doughty:

“Government Defendants are making a blanket assertion of all communications to social media platforms by Dr. Fauci, and Jean-Pierre based upon executive privilege and presidential communications privilege.

“Plaintiffs concede they are not asking for any internal White House communications, but only external communications between Dr. Fauci and/or Jean-Pierre and third-party social media platforms.

“This Court believes Plaintiffs are entitled to external communications by Jean-Pierre and Dr. Fauci in their capacities as White House Press Secretary and Chief Medical Advisor to the President to third-party social media platforms.”

Judge Doughty ordered Fauci and Jean-Pierre to comply within 21 days, and said Fauci must provide complete answers to questions about his role as NIAID director.

In response to the ruling, a Biden administration official defended the administration’s actions, telling Fox News, “As we have said over and over again since the beginning of the administration in our battle against COVID-19, it has been critical for the American people to have access to factual, accurate, science-based information.”

“We believe in and we support freedom of speech, and we also believe it is important for all media platforms, including social media, to represent factual scientific information and combat misinformation and disinformation that can cost lives,” the official concluded.

However, Mary Holland, president and general counsel of Children’s Health Defense, told The Defender the ruling is “really good news.”

Holland said:

“Up until now, Dr. Fauci has operated under this cloak of ‘untouchableness,’ thinking he has been above the law. He likely didn’t expect his emails to be made public.

“We can only imagine what this tranche of emails will likely reveal about Dr. Fauci’s bare-knuckled censorship — it won’t be pretty.”

Holland said Judge Doughty’s ruling was “even-handed” because he “granted some of the Plaintiff Attorney Generals’ discovery requests and denied others.”

For instance, Doughty denied the Plaintiffs’ request that the HHS conduct a search for relevant records among its 80,000 employees because it would be “unduly burdensome.” However, he said the HHS employees identified in the documents from Meta needed to respond to the discovery requests.

Holland added:

“Most importantly, the court ordered that Dr. Fauci’s and Karine Jean-Pierre’s external emails to social media platforms must be produced by September 27, within 21 days of the ruling.

“Stay tuned and get the popcorn. Those emails likely will reveal how the censorship has worked — and the path to ending it now.”

Jenin Younes, litigation counsel for the New Civil Liberties Alliance and a lawyer for some of the Plaintiffs, told The Epoch Times:

“We know from the previous round of discovery that efforts to censor the speech of those who disagree with the government on covid policy have come from the top.

“Americans deserve to know Anthony Fauci’s participation in this enterprise, especially since he has publicly demanded that specific individuals, including two of our clients, Jay Bhattacharya and Martin Kulldorff, be censored on social media.”

“It is time for Dr. Fauci to answer for his flagrant disregard for Americans’ constitutional rights and civil liberties,” Younes added.

New Civil Liberties Alliance in August joined the lawsuit, stating in its case summary that the suit also represents epidemiologists and co-authors of the Great Barrington Declaration, Drs. Jayanta Bhattacharya and Martin Kulldorff, as well as Dr. Aaron Kheriaty and Jill Hines.

Plaintiffs push to interrogate other Biden officials, file amended complaint

As part of Tuesday’s ruling, Judge Doughty also granted the plaintiffs’ request to question additional government officials based on their review of the records obtained from their previous discovery request.

Although Fauci and Jean-Pierre did not comply with the initial discovery request, the government records that were obtained “unveiled an army of federal censorship bureaucrats, including officials arrayed at the White House, HHS, DHS, CISA, the CDC, NIAID, the Office of the Surgeon General, the Census Bureau, the FDA, the FBI, the State Department, the Treasury Department, and the U.S. Election Assistance Commission,” the NCLA said in a Sept. 1 press release.

“Communications show these federal officials are fully aware that the pressure they exert is an effective and necessary way to induce social-media platforms to increase censorship. The head of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency even griped about the need to overcome social-media companies’ ‘hesitation’ to work with the government,” NCLA said.

The defendants identified 45 officials across five federal agencies as the officials who communicated with social media companies about misinformation and censorship.

However, email and other documents provided by Meta, Twitter and Google showed several other officials — including officials at other federal agencies and the White House — were involved in the effort.

Moreover, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg recently disclosed that the FBI contacted him about disinformation before the 2020 election — and that Facebook suppressed the circulation of the first Hunder Biden laptop story.

US Life Expectancy Down Three Years in Two Years

By Jeffrey A Tucker

Brownstone Institute

Jared Kushner had not yet read the news most likely. He was just telling an interviewer that he is working on getting more healthy because his generation is likely to be the first to “live forever” or the “last generation that’s going to die.” Therefore we need to “keep ourselves in pretty good shape.”

True, it would be awful to live forever and not be fit as a fiddle.

A good start to living forever might be, for example, taking steps toward longer life expectancy right now. Let’s just say that it is not going well. Americans over two years have lost on average three years of life expectancy. It’s a disaster by any standard, based on data that is mostly unfakeable.

Yes, it gets exasperating. At the very outset of lockdowns,so many said this would happen. The deployment of state power against a virus would unleash every manner of hell including economic collapse, population-wide demoralization, cultural confusion and crime, loss of hope, and overall ill-health. There was already a vast literature on this, and it was unbearably obvious that this would be the result.

Sadly, here we are two years later and all the data is pouring in. The CDC reports that in 2021, life expectancy fell yet again just as it did in 2020, for a total of nearly three years of lost life. The trend is grim.

It would be one thing if this was due entirely or even mostly to Covid. But the verified data on Covid death hasn’t changed since January 2020: the average age of death is equal to or above the median age of life expectancy. The number of people listed as having died from Covid is borrowed entirely from other categories of death such as flu and other respiratory illnesses, and this is due to either misclassification or perhaps the well-known pattern of viral crowding out: the new bug pushes aside the old bug.

Apart from that, we’ve seen a huge increase in deaths – spiking in middle age – by liver disease, heart disease, accidental injury, and suicide, not to mention drug overdosers. In other words, these are lockdown deaths occurring to people at a much younger age than would typically die from (not with) Covid. There is also the truly terrifying possibility that the adverse effects of vaccines are driving some portion of this shocking trend.

“Until now, experts have been accustomed to measuring life expectancy changes in increments of months, not years,” notes the New York Times. The trend affects all demographics except the Asian population.

It was the largest reduction in life expectancy in the United States over the course of a two-year period since the early 1920s, when life expectancy fell to 57.2 in 1923. That drop-off may have been related to high unemployment and suicide rates during an earlier recession, as well as a steep increase in mortality among nonwhite men and women.

What the Times here is calling an “earlier recession” is actually World War I or what was then known as the Great War. Multitudes of young men came back from war traumatized, depressed, and lost, and took their lives. The push for alcohol prohibition in 1920 exacerbated the trend. Prohibition was yet another case of a government smiting a proximate cause – under the influence of respected scientists – of a problem without dealing with the root issue.

So yes, the great progress came to an end however temporarily. Once life normalized again by the mid-1920s, lives started getting longer again.

There are few data points more clear in the course of history than the relationship between prosperity and life expectancy and also between prosperity and freedom. The first country where people lived beyond the age of 50 was the UK, where the Industrial Revolution took the deepest root. That change came to the US in the 1870s. Since then we’ve seen astonishing increases all over the world, depending again on prosperity, which in turn depends on freedom.  https://ourworldindata.org/grapher/life-expectancy?time=1875 https://ourworldindata.org/grapher/life-expectancy?tab=chart&time=1770..2019&country=Africa~Asia~Europe~OWID_WRL~Americas~Oceania

With travel and more human contact with people different from ourselves, we experienced the miraculous improvement of immune systems, such that the average immunity strength of 20th century humans surpassed that which we’ve ever before seen.

Gone were the times when small isolated tribes were utterly wiped out by exposure to a new virus. Instead, exposure and recovery granted human beings ever longer lives due to their improved ability to resist severe consequences of infection.

Here I credit the amazing Sunetra Gupta for the insight. I personally consider this point to be among the most brilliant and challenging in all epidemiologic and economic literature. And yet it seemed unexplored in any great depth.

But starting in March 2020, we went in the other direction. We degraded immune systems by mandating a lack of exposure. Again, we were warned early on that this path would result in more ill-health and vulnerability to every disease. Then, incredibly, government shut hospitals and medical services to elective surgeries and diagnostics – nearly everything but Covid. Just astonishing. Then they took away gyms, civic meetings, and community worship.

It was a perfect plan for killing people in the name of protecting them.

The people who did this to us deserve to be disgraced in memory.

We could go on here but the point is that the data is starting to pour in. They ruined progress. They wrecked lives. They degraded the experience of living on earth. The results in the US are uniquely bad in this sense because of other factors having to do with substance abuse, obesity and diet, and general neglect of physical and mental health. The lockdowns made it all worse.

The irony is as palpable as it is tragic. In the name of pandemic planning, the elites turned a manageable pathogen into a killer policy that sliced three years off the average life expectancy in the US, with costs that are truly incalculable. All the cover-ups, political propaganda, and excuse-making cannot cover up the vital statistics, which are among the most difficult to disguise. And they are looking ever more grim.

Jared Kushner, we now know, was hugely instrumental in bringing about this state of affairs. It was he, with two friends who probably share his immortalist conviction. who pushed the White House toward the first lockdowns. If he does manage to live forever in this world, the conditions his influence brought about have made that less likely than ever for everyone else.

Ultra-processed Foods Linked to Heart Disease, Cancer, and Death

Written by Corrie Pelc on September 6, 2022 — Fact checked by Jill Seladi-Schulman, Ph.D.

HICGI News Agency

Prior research has shown that poor diet may be associated with 1 in 5 deaths globally.Recently, researchers at Tufts University found that a diet high in ultra-processed foods puts a person at greater risk for developing colorectal cancer. Another team of Italian researchers suggests that people with the lowest-quality diet and highest levels of ultra-processed food consumption have a higher risk of both all-cause and cardiovascular death.

The food we eat can play a much greater role in health and longevity than many people may realize. In fact, previous researchTrusted Source suggests that 1 in 5 deaths around the world could be prevented by improving diet.

Now, two new studies recently published in the journal The BMJ examine the effects of ultra-processed foods on certain health conditions.

In one study, researchers from Tufts UniversityTrusted Source found that a diet high in ultra-processed foods increases the risk for colorectal cancer in men.

Another study from a research team at IRCCS NeuromedTrusted Source in Pozzilli, Italy says that adults with the lowest-quality diet and highest ultra-processed food consumption have an increased risk for heart disease and all-cause mortality.

What are ultra-processed foods?

Ultra-processed foods are a category of the NOVA food classification system designed by researchers from the Center for Epidemiological Studies in Health and Nutrition at the School of Public Health at the University of Sao Paulo, Brazil.

The NOVA system classifies foods into four different groups

Group 1: unprocessed or minimally processed foodsGroup 2: processed culinary ingredients (oils, fats, salt, and sugar)Group 3: processed foodsGroup 4: ultra-processed foods

[…]

Examples of ultra-processed foods include:

sodas and sweetened juicessports and energy drinksenergy barspowdered and instant soupsmargarinemass-produced and packaged bread and baked goods made with hydrogenated fats, sugar, and additivespre-prepared meals such as pizza, hot dogs, chicken nuggets, and fish sticksinfant formulasmeal replacement beverages mass-produced ice creamcandiessweetened yogurt

Previous research has found that ultra-processed foods make up about 58% of Americans’ diets, and are associated with weight gain, especially in women.

[…]

“We’ve certainly known about the higher risk of colorectal cancer with processed food, such as bacon and other processed products, which may be related to preservatives, nitrates, and a higher association with red meat,” he explained. “But this is really the first study describing ultra-processed food.”

[…]

“Colon cancer is increasing among young people more so than any other cancer and every oncologist, both medical and surgical, is just totally perplexed by this enormous change. The only plausible explanation relates to what this paper is referring to, which is an increased use in processed food and the disruption of cells in our body and bacteria and immune cells that help fight cancer or reduce the chances of developing cancer.”

Increased heart disease and mortality risk

Researchers estimate cardiovascular disease is responsible for 32% of all deathsTrusted Source globally each year.

Clinicians have known for some time that nutritionTrusted Source plays an important role in preventing cardiovascular disease. And previous researchTrusted Source links a diet high in ultra-processed foods to an increased risk for cardiovascular disease.

In this new study, lead author Dr. Marialaura Bonaccio, senior epidemiologist in the Department of Epidemiology and Prevention at IRCCS Neuromed in Pozzilli, Italy, and her team compared two different ways of looking at diet: the traditional way of rating food based on its nutritional content only, such as the Food Standards Agency Nutrient Profiling SystemTrusted Source (FSAm-NPS), and through the NOVA classification system.

“The aim was basically to see what type of perspective counts most in terms of defining the long-term risk of mortality of our participants,” Bonaccio explained.

The researchers found that people with the lowest quality diet based on the FSAm-NPS dietary index and the highest ultra-processed food intake based on the NOVA classification system were at the highest risk for both all-cause and cardiovascular death.

“However, when both these food dimensions were taken into account jointly, we found that a higher degree of food processing was more relevant for this increased risk than the poor nutritional quality of the diet,” Dr. Bonaccio added.

Dietary recommendations for disease prevention

Lauren Pelehach Sepe, a clinical nutritionist at the Kellman Wellness Center in New York, NY, said that a poor-quality diet, which leads to an imbalanced microbiome and inflammation, is a root cause of many chronic illnesses, including cardiovascular disease.

ResearchTrusted Source has shown that inflammation is a key risk factor for cardiovascular disease,” Sepe told MNT

“Although historically the focus of the treatment for cardiovascular disease was on lowering cholesterol, more and more we are seeing that even if you improve these blood markers, addressing overall inflammationTrusted Source is key to reversing and preventing cardiovascular disease.”

Ex-BlackRock Manager: Global Financial Collapse a ‘Mathematical Certainty’

edward dowd joseph mercola feature

By Dr Joseph Mercola

In an interview with Dr. Joseph Mercola, Edward Dowd, a former equity portfolio manager for BlackRock, explained why he believes the global financial system will collapse within the next six to 24 months.

A global financial collapse is a mathematical certainty. Dowd predicts the collapse will begin in earnest within the next six to 24 months.COVID-19 provided cover for central banks and governments, allowing them to temporarily hide the reality that the financial system is crashing.COVID-19 also allowed for the erection of a control system to shield governments and central banks from the fallout of collapsing food, energy and finance systems. It allowed them to restrict travel and introduce digital IDs and central bank digital currencies by linking them together with vaccine passports.Insurance companies report a 40% increase in excess mortality among working-age adults during the fourth quarter of 2021. Millennials aged 25 to 44 had an 84% increase in excess mortality in that same timeframe. Since the rollout of the COVID-19 jabs, the number of Americans who claim to be disabled has risen by at least 10%, possibly more.

In the video below, I interview Edward Dowd, a hedge fund “guru” and former equity portfolio manager for BlackRock, one of the two largest asset managers in the world, Vanguard being the other. Over the past two years, Dowd has courageously come forward to awaken people to the collateral damage of the COVID-19 pandemic.

For example, in early March 2022, Dowd shared mortality statistics on Steve Bannon’s War Room, showing Millennials aged 25 to 44 had an 84% increase in excess mortality during the fall of 2021.

Asset managers and the global cabal

To many, BlackRock appears to play an important role in the globalist cabal’s effort to usher in The Great Reset. Dowd, having signed a non-disparagement agreement, is not free to discuss his views on BlackRock, but he can talk about similar players, such as Blackstone and Vanguard, the latter of which is a similarly sized institution.

Dowd says:

“I don’t believe they control these corporations [the companies they own shares in], but they have undue influence, which Charlie Munger of Berkshire Hathaway has written about.

[…]

“But I do believe, as concentration of market share, Vanguard and BlackRock are the biggest passive investment asset management firms. Charlie Munger had a point that it’s too much decision-making in too few hands.

[…]

Financial collapse is a mathematical certainty

[…]

“The last 12 years have been a ballooning of what I call the central bank-government bubble, the sovereign debt bond bubble.”

Who’s going to save that bubble? Who’s going to be the buyer of all that debt when this bubble finally blows up? Answer: No one. Many who are aware of the situation are just surprised the system has lasted this long.

It looked like it was ready to burst in 2019, and then, conveniently, COVID-19 showed up, which granted emergency powers to all central banks. Governments went on another spending spree, printing money, and this allowed them to kick the proverbial can down the road for another two years.

Dowd says:

“Here we are in 2022 and it’s unraveling again. And the reason why COVID was important is because the Federal Reserve was able to plug the hole in what was beginning to become a liquidity debt crisis.

“They printed 65% more money. The money stock went up 65% year over year in 2020, and that was able to paper it over. Then, when the economy was shut down, it was an external shock, not in the internal shock, so when they reopened with all the money in the system, we had a recovery for a year and a half. Stock markets went crazy, credit markets went crazy, and we went back up again.

“But here we are two years later, [with] inflation caused by the bad policies of the Biden administration, the EU, the money growth … also, COVID broke a lot of supply chains … Basically, we hadn’t had inflation in goods and services for the last 12 years. We had inflation in assets, stocks and bonds.

“What’s going on now is the real economy is feeling the effects of the inflation, the bad policies. We’re starting to see the U.S. dollar go up, and the dollar is a reserve currency of the world. Over the last 22 years, there’s been a tremendous growth in what’s called dollar-denominated debt … We have about $15 trillion in dollar-denominated debt.

“So, when you see the dollar going up, that’s indicative of a debt crisis because money’s becoming tight. There are fewer dollars out there. People are scrambling for dollars. And the reason why I think we’re imminently going to collapse is we’ve never seen a commodity inflation cycle with the dollar going up at the same time …

“You can make the case that it’s intentional because the policies are so bad that they’re shutting down energy production. Before the Ukraine War, Biden’s first executive order on Day 1 of his administration was to shut down the Keystone pipeline. So, here we are. I think we’re at the end.

“COVID provided cover for the central banks and the governments, but it also allowed for a control system. If everything’s going to collapse, wouldn’t it be nice to have a control system where travel is restricted, you can blame it on a virus, you create vaccine passports, which then get linked to digital IDs, and then central bank digital currency. So, I think COVID was a convenient excuse.

“As we roll through time, I’m starting to think this was a plan. I don’t have evidence, but the fact that we’re not stopping what’s going on suggests to me that it’s a conspiracy of interests, and they don’t want to stop the rollout of these vaccines.

“And the longer this goes on, the more convinced I become that COVID may have been a plan. I used to say it was a convenient excuse, but the longer this goes on, the more ridiculous this becomes. So, I think there was ill intent.”

A question of when

Dowd believes the initial financial collapse will occur within the next six to 18 months, or at most 24 months. If stock markets become seriously unhinged and we start getting declines of more than 40% in the indices, the Federal Reserve may start buying stocks outright, which will result in a neo-feudalism system that will only magnify already existing discrepancies between the have and the have not’s.

[…]

Dowd, who lives in Maui, first got involved in the anti-jab fight when the mandates were rolled out. In Maui, you had to have a vaccine passport just to enter a restaurant or gym.

He says:

“I was suspicious of the jab from the get-go because I knew two things: Operation Warp-anything sounds like a disaster. Seriously. And No. 2, it was experimental, and I knew that most vaccines took seven to 10 years of safety data to be vetted before they were put into people’s arms.

“So, I just thought everybody would be like me — rational — and not take it. Then, when I saw the propaganda machine, the social pressure, I knew something else was afoot, that something was going on, and that’s when I got super involved. I started going to rallies on Maui. I started meeting like-minded people and that’s how I got hooked up with Dr. [Robert] Malone here on Maui.

“Now I’m part of the crew that’s trying to expose this crime. When I met [Malone] in October of 2021, I told him I had a suspicion there were lots of bad things going on with the vaccines … I said I would be monitoring the insurance companies and the funeral home companies, and if my thesis was correct, they’d show up in those results — and sure enough, they did.”

[…]

All-Cause mortality is a crucial endpoint for any drug

“I was using the fraud word pretty liberally in the fall of 2021 in regards to Pfizer,” Dowd says, and as soon as he saw that the FDA wanted to hide Pfizer’s data for 75 years, he was utterly convinced. “That’s prima fascia evidence of cover-up,” he says.

Now, as those documents are starting to pour out, at a pace of 55,000 pages per month, we’re coming to realize what the FDA and Pfizer were so eager to hide.

Dowd continues:

[…]

“At the end of the day, if the risk is higher than the benefit, this thing doesn’t get approved. The all-cause mortality endpoint for the Pfizer vaccine, when they touted its effectiveness, they conveniently hid that data point from everybody. It came out in the FOIA request in the fall and, again, the trial was only 28 days.

“This is also just unprecedented. So, in 28 days, there was something like 23 deaths in the vaccine group and 17 in the placebo group, which gives all-cause mortality excess of 23%. It should not have been approved on that alone. That’s fraud in my humble opinion.”

As noted by Dowd, one of the most remarkable counterarguments to come out of a fraud litigation case against Pfizer in recent months is Pfizer’s attorneys claiming that even if there is fraud, Pfizer cannot be prosecuted because the government knew about it.

“Why is this not the biggest headline in the mainstream media?” Dowd asks. “Only those of us in the echo chamber that are on top of this issue seem to know this.”

In the real world, the all-cause excess mortality demonstrated in Pfizer’s trial is turning out to be on the money. The U.K., for example, has seen excess mortality rise between 10% and 20% since the shots rolled out.

In other areas, and/or in certain age categories, excess mortality is far greater, yet the FDA and CDC are just going along with it, doing absolutely nothing to warn anyone of the risks.

Shocking increases in excess mortality

As noted by Dowd, insurance companies were reporting a 40% increase in excess mortality among working-age adults during the fall of 2021. A 10% all-cause mortality rise is a once in a 200-year catastrophe, so 40% is just off the charts.

Before the CDC started manipulating its death statistics, that too showed all-cause mortality was up by about 40%, Dowd says. The smoking gun in the CDC data was found when excess mortality was broken down by age group.

Millennials, those between the ages of 25 and 44, had a whopping 84% increase in excess mortality during the fall of 2021.

[…]

There was also a huge shift in deaths during 2021 from the old to the young, with younger people now dying at an alarming rate.

“At this point, we have evidence of the crime,” Dowd says. “What I’m shocked at is the fact that the mainstream media are still blacking this out. The good news is there seems to be word of mouth, and more and more people, because the vaccine doesn’t work, aren’t getting boosters.”

Massive increase in disabilities

According to Dowd, insurance companies are also reporting increases in disability payments for the first quarter of 2022, and both insurance companies and funeral homes are also seeing a continued rise in excess mortality.

He continues:

“In the second quarter, insurance companies are playing games right now where they’re releasing reserves, they’re increasing pricing, so, it doesn’t look as bad, but it’s still not good.

“The funeral home companies are still seeing growth above what they thought they’d be seeing. They thought they’d be returning to trend line and they’re still getting year-over-year growth. You got to remember their year-over-year growth is versus 2021.

[…]

Silver linings

If there’s a silver lining to this mess, it’s that parents are waking up to the dangers of not just the COVID-19 jab but also the childhood vaccination schedule as a whole. As of early August 2022, only 3% of children under age 5 had received the COVID-19 jab. Many are also taking a second look at other vaccines, including adult vaccines.

This is long overdue, as none of the vaccines on the childhood vaccination schedule has ever been compared to a true placebo to confirm safety and effectiveness, and no studies have been done to confirm that giving multiple vaccines simultaneously is actually safe.

“I think as this scandal collapses and unfolds, it’s going to remake a lot of our institutions,” Dowd says, “and I think that’s a good thing. I think people like yourself and others who’ve been out in the wilderness are going to be vindicated. I’ll never take another vaccine again, or a flu shot. I’m done. I’m out.”

Rome and Roads from the West

Episode 17: Rome and Roads from the West

Foundations of Eastern Civilization

Dr Craig Benjamin (2013)

Film Review

I found this lecture valuable due to surprising insights on Roman history I’ve never encountered before.

Benjamin traces the collapse of republican rule in Rome to the economic collapse it experienced following its 16- year battle with the Carthaginian general Hannibal. The Carthaginian general destroyed many farms during his 16-year rampage through the Italian peninsula. To make matters worse, many farmers were recruited as troops and had nowhere to return to following Hannibal’s defeat in 203 BC. Newly unemployed, they flocked to Rome’s tenements while Roman patricians bought up their vacant land. Instead of growing grain to feed Rome’s poor, they employed slaves to grow olive trees for oil and grapes for wine.

Here Benjamin stresses that so-called Roman democracy was actually a senate oligarchy. The rise of various populist reformers, including Tiberius and Gaius Gracchus and Julius Caesar, led to 100 years of civil wars.

Before the senate appointed the latter “Dictator”* for Public Affairs” in 49 BC, 65% of the Roman population was on the dole and dependent on government grain handouts to keep from starving. At the time of his assassination in 44 BC, Caesar had reduced the percentage requiring government assistance to 20% (see How Senate Corruption Caused the Demise of the Roman Republic/

After Caesar’s adopted son Octavian hunted down and killed Caesar’ assassins, he took power in 27 BC and declared himself emperor.** In gratitude for his success in ending the civil war, the Roman senate also gave himself the title “Augustus.”

Building new roads, reducing corruption and establishing an permanent professional standing army to expand the empire, August created a vibrant, growing economy that gave merchants confidence to invest in long distance (ie Silk Road) trade.

The Romans first exposure to silk occurred in 53 BC during the Battle of Carrhae, when their Parthian*** opponents unfurled a massive silk banner, causing Roman troops to flee in terror.

The northern route the Silk Road took from Rome left from their Mediterranean colony Antioch, traversed the Syrian desert to Palmyra, from there crossing the Zagros Mountains to Ctesiphon the capitol of the Parthian Empire. From there it crossed the Ferghanna Valley in Kushan to Mongolia and eventually the Han capitol Changan.

The southern routes either crossed entered the Central Steppes via Bactria or went due south from Yakhan to the Indus Valley.

According to Pliny the Elder, the silk trade cost the Romans roughly $6 million a year in current dollars. Some historians blame the collapse of Rome on the millions of dollars Rome spent on Chinese imports, which included glass, cotton (from India), copper, iron, precious stones and peppers.

During the early Roman empire, maritime trade routes also developed as Roman sailors (departing from Egypt, a Roman colony) began using seasonal winds to sail to Asia. This was a marked departure from past ocean journeys East, which had hugged the coastline and taken much longer. Rome eventually established ports all along the Arabian peninsula and the west coast of India.

*In Roman times, a “dictator” was an official the senate granted temporary power during a public crisis. See https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/dictator

**The Latin word “imperator” means victorious general.

How Many Americans Have Got Their Second Booster?

And why grandfathering COVID shots is entirely different and MUCH WORSE than grandfathered flu shots.

Dr Meryl Nass

7%. Seven percent. SEVEN PERCENT! Americans have said, “No more.” And so the authorities are trying a new con job to get more of us to offer our arms. The new improved version that the government and manufacturers were too scared to test! How many times do they think they can fool you?

In its article on the new booster authorizations last Wednesday, the WaPo had quotes from Peter Hotez and Michael Osterholm, both huge vaccine supporters. Neither was happy about the rush to get the boosters out before any human testing had been done.

Neither the WaPo nor the NY Times nor most other media bothered to tell their readers that FDA had refused to convene an advisory committee meeting so the public could see the evidence for the boosters and hear a discussion about them. They must have been instructed what to leave out.

The claim is that flu shots get grandfathered in each year with minor tweaks, so why not COVID shots? Here’s why:

Flu shots have been around for decades and their differences from year to year are well understoodFlu shots are used first in the southern hemisphere, so the US actually gets the benefit of six months of data before using themBut the HUGE difference is that flu shots are licensed! They have liability! You can apply to the vaccine injury compensation program for damages. You get a legal hearing with a “special master’“ judge. The new COVID boosters are unlicensed, have no quality standards they are required to meet, and the manufacturers and government are off the hook if anything goes wrong

They fooled us enough. This time it’s shame on me.
