Texas to Investigate COVID Vaccine Makers Over Gain-of-Function Research, False Efficacy Claims

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton today launched an investigation into whether Pfizer, Moderna and Johnson & Johnson engaged in gain-of-function research and misled the public about doing so, and whether the companies misrepresented the efficacy of their COVID-19 vaccines, in violation of the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act.

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton today launched an investigation into whether Pfizer, Moderna and Johnson & Johnson committed fraud related to the COVID-19 vaccines.

Paxton will investigate whether the companies misrepresented the efficacy and safety of the vaccines and manipulated vaccine trial data, in violation of the state’s Deceptive Trade Practices Act.

He also will investigate whether the pharmaceutical giants engaged in gain-of-function research and misled the public about it, The New York Post reported.

“If any company illegally took advantage of consumers during this period or compromised people’s safety to increase their profits, they will be held responsible,” Paxton said. “If public health policy was developed on the basis of flawed or misleading research, the public must know.”

Paxton said Big Pharma had a “vested interest” in the success of its COVID-19 vaccines because they drove record profits.

“This vested interest … combined with reports about the alarming side effects of vaccines, demands aggressive investigation,” he said.

In 2022 alone, Pfizer reaped profits of $31.4 billion on record sales of $100.3 billion. Sales from its COVID-19 vaccine and Paxlovid, used to treat COVID-19, totaled $56 billion — more than half the vaccine maker’s annual revenue.

Moderna’s Spikevax generated approximately $18.4 billion in revenue last year, up from $17.7 billion in 2021.

Johnson & Johnson’s first-quarter 2022 COVID-19 vaccine sales were only $457 million, but in 2021, its vaccine sales reached $2.4 billion.

Paxton also said that because mandates were dictated at the federal level, “This investigation into the scientific and ethical basis on which public health decisions were made is of major significance.”

As part of the investigation, Paxton will demand the three companies provide documentation related to decision-making about pandemic interventions, “especially when a profit motive or political pressure may have compromised Americans’ health and safety.”

The investigation could have implications for the immunity vaccine makers enjoy under the Public Readiness and Emergency Preparedness, or PREP Act, for producing vaccines under Emergency Use Authorization, Kim Mack Rosenberg, acting general counsel for Children’s Health Defense, told The Defender.

She said:

“I applaud the Texas attorney general investigating fraud in connection with COVID-19 shots.

“Because these injections are covered by the PREP Act and the Countermeasures Injury Compensation Program (CICP), with near blanket liability protection for manufacturers and significant restrictions and limitations on recovery for injuries, evidence of fraud or willful misconduct may be an avenue to justice for the many who have been injured by these products.”

The PREP Act declaration for Medical Countermeasures Against COVID-19 shields manufacturers of COVID-19 pandemic countermeasures, such as vaccines or treatments, from liability for injuries resulting from those countermeasures.

It funnels vaccine injury claims into the CICP program, which is meant to compensate people with vaccine or other covered countermeasure-related injuries for expenses associated with their injury.

To date, the CICP has compensated only three of the more than 10,000 claims brought for COVID-19 countermeasure injuries.

But the PREP Act does not immunize manufacturers from liability in the case of “willful misconduct.”

That means if the Texas attorney general proves the companies engaged in willful misconduct, people injured by the vaccine may have other methods beyond the CICP available to them to seek compensation for their pain and suffering.

“The catastrophic effects of the pandemic and subsequent interventions forced on our country and citizens deserve intense scrutiny, and we are pursuing any hint of wrongdoing to the fullest,” Paxton said.

Florida grand jury investigating ‘crimes and wrongdoings’ related to COVID vaccine

In December 2022, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis petitioned for a grand jury investigation into “crimes and wrongdoing committed against Floridians related to the COVID-19 vaccine.”

“It is against the law to mislead and to misrepresent, particularly when you’re talking about the efficacy of a drug,” said DeSantis, whose petition seeks more information from pharmaceutical companies about the vaccines and potential side effects.

DeSantis argued that pharmaceutical companies had a financial interest in creating a climate in which people believed that getting a coronavirus vaccine would ensure they couldn’t spread the virus to others.

“The Biden administration and pharmaceutical corporations continue to push widespread distribution of mRNA vaccines on the public, including children as young as 6 months old, through relentless propaganda while ignoring real-life adverse events,” DeSantis’ office said in a statement in December.

The Florida Supreme Court granted his request on Dec. 22, 2022, committing to convening a grand jury to investigate any wrongdoing with respect to the COVID-19 vaccines. The grand jury will meet for one year.

In the meantime, DeSantis also convened a Public Health Integrity Committee comprised of some of the top COVID-19 countermeasure experts, including Jay Bhattacharya, M.D., Ph.D, Martin Kulldorff, Ph.D. and Tracy Beth Høeg, M.D., Ph.D.

The committee will meet in May to examine “adverse events from mRNA vaccines,” The New York Post reported, and it will also provide guidance to the Florida Department of Health.

Along with DeSantis, Florida Surgeon General Joseph Ladapo, M.D., Ph.D., has been vocal in his concerns about adverse events associated with the vaccines. He issued a health alert in Florida, warning residents about a “substantial increase” in reports of adverse events.

Food prices are rising at a furious pace, fastest in Scotland in almost half a century. At the same time, energy prices are at record highs. People are forced to choose between freezing or going hungry, and a majority of Scots are forced to live in cold and darkness to cope with bills. Old generations’ tricks for saving and keeping warm are returning. Nevertheless, it is feared that 10,000 Brits will die of cold homes this winter. We present the Swedish Public Health Agency’s guidelines on indoor temperature. Governments in Europe are introducing rationing and monitoring of food purchases. Net-zero emissions are a lie that, in practice, de-industrializes the West and dramatically lowers our standard of living.

On March 10, the Scottish trade magazine Scottish Housing News published a frightening report from Scotland’s largest builder, Barratt Developments Scotland. It shows that 51 percent, a majority of Scots, could not afford to heat or light their homes. They were forced to live in chilly homes with the lights off, as they otherwise could not afford to pay for electricity.

Gas and electricity bills have risen even more in recent months, and the UK government’s support system for energy bills will end at the end of March, further putting pressure on already strained British households. Those who suffer the most are the elderly and sick, not least those with lung disease and asthma. This is exacerbated by disease-causing mold that comes with cold and damp indoor climates. Reported cases of mold-damaged homes in Scotland have increased by 25 percent since 2021. Tens of thousands of Scots are already affected.

Thousands are feared to die as a result of these conditions. Already last winter, over 7,400 Brits died as a result of cold homes. But since last winter, electricity prices have doubled, so the figure is believed to be significantly higher this winter. In December 2022 alone, 1,047 Brits, mostly elderly, died as a result of cold and damp air in their homes. This is 36 percent more than in December 2021, indicating that over 10,000 Brits are likely to die this winter due to cold in their homes… or rather, poverty, not being able to afford electricity.

Grandfather’s long johns are back

The survey shows that many are now forced to resort to tricks that their grandparents once used to keep warm during the winter with simple means, such as wearing long johns or sealing door gaps. It emerged that 58 percent, again a majority of respondents, now routinely wear thermal underwear at home to cope with the cold in their homes. 40 percent cover gaps under doors and 41 percent have hung up thick curtains over both doors and windows. People warm themselves under blankets and with tea lights. A quarter use electric heated blankets in bed, instead of heating the bedroom. 57 percent of respondents have turned off radiators in rooms they rarely or never use, and it appears they are forced to live in a smaller part of their homes.

Those hardest hit are, as usual, families with children and the elderly, but another age group also stands out. It is the so-called Generation Z, those born between 1997 and 2013. In this age group, there are young adults up to 26 years old, many of whom work online from home. The survey shows that nearly two-thirds in this age category are forced to turn off lights and lower the temperature so much that they often become ill. It is especially serious when it affects a group that largely works from home, as they are forced to breathe the raw and disease-causing air created in too cold homes around the clock.

This is happening in the once-rich and powerful United Kingdom, which only a hundred years ago was the largest empire in world history.

Food shortages and rationing

The situation is further aggravated by soaring inflation, with rapidly rising food prices and increasing interest rates. The survey shows that 55 percent of respondents were very concerned about rising interest rates. This not only affects homeowners with loans but also tenants, as landlords are often in debt themselves. Overall, it is a witch’s brew of rising costs for interest, electricity, fuel, food, and other necessities. Rising interest rates and energy costs affect virtually everything. For example, grocery stores are forced to pay more in rent, electricity, and transportation. Their increased costs, in addition to already high purchasing costs from distributors, are then added to already high product prices.

There is also a lesser-known reason for rising food prices, which is declining harvests, reducing supply while demand remains the same or increases. The lower harvests are mainly due to the cooler climate that Nya Tider has been at the forefront of reporting since 2019. For Europe, for example, Spain and countries in North Africa, from which we import, have been affected by poor harvests.

This is also due to higher energy prices, which have largely wiped out the production of artificial fertilizers outside of Russia and a few other countries that continue to have cheap energy. Europe has seen a large part of its chemical industry and artificial fertilizer production shut down. Without artificial fertilizers, almost half of the world’s population would be without food. The sharply reduced production globally will, therefore, have a devastating impact on global food security.

Europe is also affected by greenhouse farming closures, which supply the continent with a large portion of its fruits and vegetables, being forced to shut down during the winter months due to the high costs of heating. This not only creates shortages but further drives up prices. In the United Kingdom, this has been evident in grocery stores, where shelves have been empty during February and March. The situation has occasionally been so severe that rationing has been introduced, which is the first time since World War II. Customers are only allowed to buy three types of vegetables and a maximum of two of each. An example of this is the supermarket chain Morrison.

Net zero – a lie

It is worth remembering that Scotland has boasted about being the best in the UK at transitioning its energy production to “green energy,” especially with numerous wind turbines. In 2019, mainstream media had headlines such as “Why is Scotland leading in renewable energy?” (ITV News). Now, reality has caught up. Wind turbines notoriously perform poorly during winter, so poorly that they often consume energy instead of producing it. This is because they need to be heated to prevent freezing during the winter, using energy from the regular power grid or diesel generators. Advocates of “green energy” and power companies are silent about this.

This winter was exceptionally cold in Scotland, and the strain on the power grid that supplies the wind turbines was so great that the Scottish power company was forced to heat its wind turbines using large quantities of diesel generators. They tried to keep this a secret, but it leaked out (see NyT v.10/2023). This is an important reason why the Scots suffered the most in the UK this winter.

The green agenda does not involve a gradual and proven transition with preserved energy security but enforces closures of not only fossil-fueled power plants but also, for example, hydroelectric plants that are claimed to threaten or destroy wildlife (see NyT v.27-28/2022).

Whistleblower: US govt ‘middleman’ in multibillion dollar migrant child trafficking op

A House Judiciary subcommittee hearing on Wednesday will feature the testimony from a whistleblower who will warn lawmakers that the U.S. has become the “middleman” in a multibillion dollar migrant child trafficking operation at the border.

The hearing, “The Biden Border Crisis: Exploitation of Unaccompanied Alien Children,” will be held by the House Judiciary Subcommittee on Immigration Integrity, Security, and Enforcement and will examine the surge in unaccompanied children (UACs) at the southern border.

According to Customs and Border Protection (CBP) statistics, the number of UACs who arrive at the border has swelled from 33,239 in fiscal year 2020 to more than 146,000 in fiscal year 2021 and 152,000 in fiscal year 2022. So far in fiscal year 2023, there have been more than 70,000 encounters of unaccompanied children.

When child migrants are encountered at the border, they are transferred into the custody of Health and Human Services (HHS) and then united with a sponsor – typically a parent or family member already in the U.S.

According to Customs and Border Protection statistics, the number of unaccompanied children who arrive at the southern border has surged since fiscal year 2020.

But the Biden administration has been rocked by a number of reports that officials have been unable to make contact with more than 85,000 child migrants; and more recently, administration officials reportedly ignored signsof “explosive” growth in child labor. A number have been forced into indentured servitude to pay back smugglers and have worked in dire conditions.

The Wednesday hearing will hear from three witnesses: Tara Lee Rodas, a HHS whistleblower formerly with an inspector general’s office; Sheena Rodriguez, founder and president of Alliance for a Safe Texas; and Jessica Vaughan, director of Policy Studies at the Center for Immigration Studies.

Rodas will warn of a problem that predates the administration but has increased significantly during the recent migrant crisis, according to a copy of her written testimony obtained by Fox News Digital.

“Today, children will work overnight shifts at slaughterhouses, factories, restaurants to pay their debts to smugglers and traffickers. Today, children will be sold for sex,” she will say. “Today, children will call a hotline to report they are being abused, neglected, and trafficked. For nearly a decade, unaccompanied children have been suffering in the shadows.”

Rodas will talk about her volunteering at an emergency intake site in California to help the HHS Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) identify sponsors for minors who have come across the border.

“I thought I was going to help place children in loving homes. Instead, I discovered that children are being trafficked through a sophisticated network that begins with being recruited in their home country, smuggled to the U.S. border, and ends when ORR delivers a child to a sponsor – some sponsors are criminals and traffickers and members of Transnational Criminal Organizations. Some sponsors view children as commodities and assets to be used for earning income – this is why we are witnessing an explosion of labor trafficking,” Rodas’ written remarks show.21

“Whether intentional or not, it can be argued that the U.S. Government has become the middleman in a large scale, multi-billion-dollar, child trafficking operation run by bad actors seeking to profit off the lives of children.”

Rodriguez, of the Alliance for a Safe Texas, will share her experiences of encountering unaccompanied children at the border, including teenage boys whom she said told her that cartel cooperatives transported children through Mexico and held them at warehouses with armed guards. She will also call for the investigation of federal agencies responsible and for the ending of releasing migrants to sponsors.

“We can no longer turn a blind eye and pretend this isn’t happening. Congress has the power to stop this, which is why I am calling on you to do what is right,” her testimony says.

Vaughan will call, too, for congressional action, including the ending of legal loopholes that she says force the government “to operate a massive catch and release program for illegally-arriving alien children.”

“They have been carelessly funneled through the custody of U.S. government agencies and contractors, and handed off to very lightly vetted sponsors (who are usually also here illegally) in our communities without regard to their safety and well-being,” she will say. “There is no question that the system for processing minors who cross illegally is dysfunctional, and has been for some time, and needs to be fixed.”

Ireland had the largest body of medieval vernacular literature in Europe. There were hundreds of Irish stories published before 1000 AD. This was in addition to medieval Ireland’s massive Latin literature.

Poets had the same honor* price as kings or bishops. They were also allowed to freely move between warring kingdoms. Some families raised children to become poets as they could earn a good living singing the praises of clan chiefs. The training could take as long as 20 years due to the extensive oral history that had to be memorized.

Some poets were satirists (some of whom were women) used by clan chiefs to make enemies look bad.

Irish stories weren’t plot driven. They tended to be full of digressions relating to place names and family trees. Often tied to geography and landscape, they took the place of maps.

Medieval Irish stories fell into three main categories:

1. The mythological cycle – concerned the founding of the Ireland and pre-Christian mythology and includes the Book of Invasions.

2. The Ulster cycle – concerned the battle between the warring princes of Ulster and Conough over the theft of the Brown Bull of Cooley.**

3. King Tales – followed Ireland’s conversion to Christianity and Included the myth of the Irish goddess of sovereignty. All Irish monarchs needed her approval to serve as king.

COVID Revealed What the Medical System Is All About

As noted by Marik, COVID changed not only the world but medicine as well. Before COVID, intensive care specialists were relatively insulated against the evils of Big Pharma and they had therapeutic freedom. Their job was to save the patient using whatever means available, and they did so.

That changed when COVID came around. Suddenly, doctors were told to send patients home, without treatment, until or unless they were unable to breathe, at which point they were to put them on mechanical ventilation and follow a strict drug protocol. Together, these treatments proved deadly for most patients.

Marik was among those who refused to accept this and set out to develop treatment protocols, one for use in-hospital and another for early outpatient treatment.

The initial MATH+ protocol the FLCCC developed in early 2020 got its name from:

Duty to the Patient Led to Sepsis Treatment Discovery

At one point, Marik considered doing a randomized study to test his sepsis protocol, but his nurses dissuaded him. They deemed it unethical to withhold a treatment that clearly had superior effectiveness from people in the placebo or conventional treatment group. In the end, he published a prospective observational study in which he compared his treatment to retrospective data.

How Does Vitamin C Combat Sepsis?

As for how vitamin C works in sepsis,1 Marik points out that vitamin C is more of a stress hormone than a vitamin. All animals, with the exception of humans and guinea pigs, make vitamin C when stressed. It’s made predominantly by the liver and kidneys.

So, it’s very important for or during stress. It’s also a powerful antioxidant, and it’s required as a cofactor for the synthesis of many enzymes and proteins. It also plays an important role in your immune system, as it’s involved in white blood cell function and the production of interferon.

Unfortunately, humans do not make endogenous vitamin C like other animals. So, when we are under stress or experience acute illness or infection, we need vitamin C, and oftentimes more than we get from our diet. As explained by Marik:

The Timing of Vitamin C Administration Matters

The timing of the vitamin C administration for sepsis appears to be crucial, however. In his paper, Marik stated that patients were treated within 24 hours. However, they were really treated within six hours of ICU admission, and this is probably why some attempts at replication have failed.

For example, in one, vitamin C was administered within a 10-hour window. Others waited days before giving it. In one of the largest studies, which sought to invalidate Marik’s data, they didn’t give the first dose until 18 hours or more had passed.

One of the reasons Marik is still cautious about giving high doses of IV vitamin C for sepsis is because at high doses, it can act as a prooxidant. This is particularly true when there are free metals and free iron, and with sepsis you do get release of ferritin.

Marik Falsely Accused of Data Fabrication

As mentioned, in 2020, the MATH+ protocol became an extension of the HAT therapy for sepsis. At that time, the NIH, the CDC and WHO all claimed there was no treatment for patients hospitalized with COVID, which, as Marik notes, “is completely absurd.”

As mentioned earlier, even though the MATH+ protocol was saving lives, the hospital essentially banned its use, leaving only toxic remdesivir. “The first week I went to work after this ban, I had seven patients with COVID and all seven died because I was basically put in a position that I wasn’t able to treat my patients,” he says.

Sham Peer Reviews and Kangaroo Courts

At the recommendation of his legal counsel, Marik sued the hospital in an effort to get the MATH+ protocol reinstated. The same day they went to court, Marik received a letter accusing him of a host of outrageous crimes.

“They accused me of seven most outrageous things, including that I was forcing nurses to give patients medications to which they were allergic.

They claimed I was forcing nurses to put the medications down the NG [nasogastric] tube. These were outrageous accusations and there was no documentation.

 I then went to a hearing, which was indeed a kangaroo court with about 25 hostile people, and I wasn’t allowed legal representation. They knew the previous charges were completely bogus.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. was recently interviewed by Piers Morgan and in the interview, he had a lot of interesting things to say about his father the late Robert  F. Kennedy, and his uncle President John F. Kennedy.

The topic of his uncle and father got brought up when Morgan asked Kennedy what impact did it have on him to lose both his uncle and father at such a young age.

Kennedy responded  “I think it had an impact on the world. I think my father and uncle were fighting against the emergence of the military-industrial complex.”

Court-ordered Document Release: Pfizer and FDA Knew in 2021 that mRNA Jab Caused Fetal Damage and Death

The batch of Pfizer clinical trial documents released in April 2023 by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) under court order contains a shocking, eight-page document titled, “Pregnancy and Lactation Cumulative Review.” The data in the Cumulative Review span “…from the time of drug product development to 28-FEB-2021.” A Pfizer employee, Robert T. Maroko, approved the Review on April 20, 2021. (p. 8)

This document is among the most horrifying yet to emerge into public view. It reveals that both Pfizer and the FDA knew by early 2021 that Pfizer’s mRNA COVID vaccine, BNT162b2, resulted in horrible damage to fetuses and babies. Pfizer tabulated:

Adverse events in over 54% of cases of “maternal exposure” to vaccine (248 out of 458). “Maternal exposure” is defined on pp. 1-2 as: “PTs Maternal exposure timing unspecified, Maternal exposure during pregnancy, Maternal exposure before pregnancy, Exposure during pregnancy.” These definitions imply that Pfizer may have been looking at damage to women and babies that could result from intercourse, inhalation, and skin contact prior to pregnancy, as Pfizer defines “exposure” including all three in its protocol (Protocol Amendment 14, https://www.phmpt.org/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/125742_S1_M5_5351_c4591001-interim-mth6-protocol.pdf, pp. 213, 246, 398, 431, 575, 607, 751, 783, 918, 948, 1073, 1103, 1226, 1255, 1378, 1406, 1522, 1549, 1663, 1688, 1813, 1836, 1949, 1969, 2081, 2100, 2211, 2228, and 2337.)Pfizer’s tally of damages to fetuses and babies includes:“53 reports [or 21% – 53/248] of spontaneous abortion (51)/ abortion (1)/ abortion missed (1) following BNT162b2 vaccination.” (p. 4). Cause of death for one baby “was cited as extreme prematurity with severe respiratory distress and pneumothorax.” Pfizer stated the other death was due to “premature baby less than 26 weeks and severe respiratory distress and pneumothorax.” Note that newborn pneumothorax is a condition where air leaks out of the lung and collects between the lung and the chest wall.Newborn severe respiratory distress. It is not just fetuses and newborn babies that Pfizer calmly noted were being damaged in the company’s internal records. Pfizer also recorded multiple harms to babies through the milk of vaccinated mothers. According to Pfizer in the Cumulative Review, 19% (41/215) of babies in Pfizer’s records exposed to the company’s COVID mRNA vaccine via their mothers’ breast milk were recorded as suffering from 48 different categories of adverse events* (pp. 6-7). Some of the babies’ suffering was serious: there were ten “Serious Adverse Events” (SAEs) from “Exposure via Lactation.” The Review outlines six of them (p. 7):

“A 15-month old infant with medical history of vomiting experienced skin exfoliation and infant irritability while being breastfed (latency <7 days). The outcome of the event ‘skin exfoliation’ was not recovered and outcome of event ‘infant irritability’ was unknown. No causality was reported by the physician.”

“A 9-month old infant with a medical history of meningococcal vaccine and no history of allergies, asthma, eczema or anaphylaxis experienced rash and urticaria a day after exposure via lactation. The outcome of the events was ‘resolved’ and event did not happen after the second day. No causality assessment was provided.”

“A day after the mother received vaccination, a baby developed a rash after breastfeeding. At the time of the report, the event was ‘not recovered. [Sic] A causality assessment was not provided.”

“An 8-month old infant experienced angioedema [an area of swelling of the lower layer of skin and tissue just under the skin or mucous membranes] one day after his mother received vaccination. The event was considered non-serious by health authority and the outcome at the time of the report was unknown. No causality was provided.”“There were 2 cases reporting ‘illness’ after exposure via breast milk’. In the first case, a 6-month old infant developed an unspecified sickness 2 days post mother’s vaccination. The outcome of the event sickness was recovered, and no causality assessment was provided. The second case, a 3-month old infant developed an unspecified illness and required hospitalization for 6 days post exposure via breast milk (>7 days latency). The event outcome was reported as ‘recovering’ and no causality assessment was provided.”

Pfizer’s Summary and Conclusion section of the Cumulative Review states, “The cases reviewed above are indicative of what is in the Pfizer safety database as of 28 February 2021. The sponsor (Pfizer/BioNTech) will continue to monitor and report on all pregnancy exposure and lactation cases. It is important to note that the spontaneous safety database is intended for hypothesis generation and not hypothesis testing.” (p. 7)

Despite Pfizer and the FDA knowing by April 20, 2021, the extent of damage to fetuses and babies, including the fact that fetuses and newborns had died, on April 23, 2021, inexplicably Dr. Rochelle Walensky held a White House press briefing where she recommended pregnant women get vaccinated. Fox News Scheming to Silence Tucker Carlson and Sideline Him Through 2024 Election

Fox News is trying to sideline former Tucker Carlson Tonight host Tucker Carlson through the 2024 election, multiple sources familiar with the matter told Breitbart News.

Carlson’s current contract runs through December 2024, and as of now three sources familiar with the matter told Breitbart News that executives at the network are trying to keep Carlson on contract and not release him until after the 2024 election. The shocking decision to cancel Carlson’s top-rated weeknight program came just days after the network shut down its top-rated weekend program with host Dan Bongino. What follows here is an insider account from people actually in the know after Breitbart News spent the past several days interviewing key players in the personnel matters at Fox News, asking what really happened.

Two things are clear from speaking to people who actually know what’s happening on the inside: First, the official narrative from the network is untrue. Second, and perhaps more importantly, many of the leaks and speculation that have poured out in the past couple days since the bombshell news of Carlson’s show getting canceled was announced are also simply untrue.

Nobody would speak on the record, for a number of reasons. First off, Fox News and the broader Murdoch empire are known for their ruthlessness against anyone who speaks the truth about what is actually happening there. Network spokeswoman Irena Briganti is believed to use outlets also owned by the Murdochs like the New York Post and Wall Street Journal to plant pieces that reflect poorly on foes of News Corporation.

Secondly, both Carlson and Bongino are technically still under contract by the network. Bongino’s contract runs through the end of April and Carlson’s through the 2024 general election. Both are, sources say, trying to negotiate exit packages—and even after they formally have those agreements in place, there will be non-disparagement clauses that prevent them from ever speaking the truth about this.

In response to requests for comment on this story, Fox News spokespersons just reissued to Breitbart News the same public statements that the network issued when announcing Carlson’s and Bongino’s departures.

“FOX News Media and Tucker Carlson have agreed to part ways,” the Fox News statement on Carlson reads. We thank him for his service to the network as a host and prior to that as a contributor.”

“We thank Dan for his contributions and wish him success in his future endeavors,” the Fox News statement on Bongino reads.

The brazen power play by the Murdoch family—at the helm of which is elderly patriarch Rupert Murdoch, but rising in power are his sons Lachlan and James Murdoch—is like a scene out of the hit HBO show Succession.

They wiped out their biggest shows both on weekends and on weekdays to show the rest of the staff who’s the real boss, but in effect insiders say they have created a crisis that is quickly burgeoning out of control. In Succession, an aging media mogul, Logan Roy, navigates major business decisions for his sprawling empire while his children aggressively use whatever leverage they have to manipulate goings-on to advance their own positions. While Rupert Murdoch is said to hate the show, its plot is actually very close to what is happening in real life at Fox Corporation—Fox News’s parent company—as the adult children of Rupert Murdoch make moves in their bid to succeed their father.

“As of right now, the plan remains the same: pay out Carlson’s contract and keep him on the sidelines through the 2024 elections,” one source close to Fox News senior executives told Breitbart News. “They knew they would take a beating for this, but everyone — and I mean everyone — is pretty rattled. They weren’t expecting the blowback to be this bad. Hate to say it, but it’s clear that Rupert has lost a step or two.”

That is objectively true: The “blowback” has been severe this week, as evidenced by a steep drop in Fox News ratings in the 8:00 p.m. ET hour day over day:

In fact, replacement host Brian Kilmeade lost to MSNBC in all ratings–and lost to CNN and MSNBC in the key demographic–on Wednesday night.

Multiple other sources told Breitbart News this detail about Carlson’s contract. “He’s still not fired, you know that right?” another Fox News source said about Carlson. “His contract is still ongoing.”

A third source close to Carlson also said it, noting that the Murdochs may end up trying to hold Carlson in his contract through the next presidential election to effectively silence him and keep him from becoming serious competition to them, whatever he ends up doing.

Former Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly also reported that detail on her show on Thursday, saying that Carlson and Fox News are negotiating his exit and that while his show is canceled and he has been kicked out of his company email address, his contract is still in effect, which keeps him from doing something else.

ABC News censors presidential candidate’s vaccine comments

ABC News has censored an interview with US presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. – Joe Biden’s top challenger for the Democratic Party’s 2024 nomination – by removing his allegedly false assertions about Covid-19 vaccines.

“We should note that during our conversation, Kennedy made false claims about the Covid-19 vaccines,” ABC anchor Linsey Davis said on Thursday after airing her interview with the nephew of former President John F. Kennedy.

She added that Kennedy made “misleading claims” contrary to research findings about a link between certain vaccines and autism. “We’ve used our editorial judgment in not including portions of that exchange in our interview.”

Davis sparred with Kennedy during the interview, saying his past claims about vaccines causing autism had been totally “debunked.” As the candidate began to explain why he believes major public health agencies, such as the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), are “captive,” his comments were cut off. The clip then cuts to Davis pointing out that some of Kennedy’s family members disagree with his views on vaccines.

“I’m just curious, if you’re not able to get your own sisters to vote for you for president, how would you make that appeal to American voters?” the host asked. Kennedy replied that he has a large family with a tradition of openly discussing issues on which they disagree. “That’s something that I think is a lesson we ought to learn for this country. We can disagree with each other without hating each other, without marginalizing each other.” Davis shot back, “I’m just using your family’s words to call you dangerous, rather than saying that’s not like the typical family that might have disagreements around the kitchen table.”

Kennedy noted on Friday that federal law prohibits broadcasters from censoring presidential candidates.

“Instead of journalism, the public saw a hatchet job,” he said. “Instead of information, they got defamation and unsheathed pharma propaganda. Americans deserve to hear the full interview so they can make up their own minds. How can democracy function without a free and unbiased press?”

A Fox News poll released on Thursday showed that although President Biden’s rivals for the Democratic Party’s nomination are longshot candidates, Kennedy is gaining ground. While 62% of Democrat voters want the party to nominate Biden for re-election, 19% favor Kennedy. A previous poll indicated that Kennedy was supported by 14% of Democrats after entering the race earlier this month.

Kennedy is the nephew of John F. Kennedy, who was assassinated in 1963, and the son of presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy, who was shot dead on the campaign trail in 1968.
