Woody Allen and Seymour Hersh Included in Ukraine’s Mirotvorets ‘Kill List’

Hersh and Allen are now targeted by Zelensky and his goons.

It seems that Americans have become fair game to the extremists embedded in or allied to Kiev regime.

The Mirotvorets ‘kill list’ has long been controversial, and at one point, Volodymyr Zelensky and his team have once been careful not to antagonize the US administration – but no more.

Over the years, many US citizens have been included, such as Tucker Carlson, Tulsi Gabbard, Henry Kissinger, Scott Ritter, Glenn Greenwald, Jeffrey Sachs…

The Mirotvorets website lists individuals deemed ‘enemies of Ukraine’, and it’s often labeled a ‘kill list’ due to its publication of personal information and instances where listed individuals were later assassinated.

This week, even as Ukraine’s defenses are crumbling on the frontlines, the goons at the Kiev regime are still including new names, such as Hollywood director Woody Allen and investigative journalist Seymour Hersh.

TASS reported:

“American filmmaker and screenwriter Woody Allen has been added to the database of Ukraine’s Mirotvorets extremist website, TASS has learnt.”

Allen was reportedly included in the list for appearing via video link in the Moscow film festival.

“American director Woody Allen has been declared an enemy of Ukraine and added to the Nazi “Myrotvorets” database for ‘supporting Russian aggression’.

Now the world-famous director is listed as an enemy of the Kiev regime on the Nazi resource.”

“The Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the director’s participation in the event is a disgrace and an insult to the Ukrainian actors and filmmakers who died in the war with Russia. Also, the screening of Allen’s musical ‘Bullets Over Broadway’ was canceled in Lvov.”

But Allen was not the only new addition to the list.

“American investigative journalist Seymour Hersh has been placed on the “Mirotvorets” list.

He has repeatedly published articles critical of the Kiev regime. In July, he reported that Zaluzhny could replace Zelensky in the coming months.

Hersh, citing sources, stated that the sabotage of Nord Stream was ordered by Biden.”

RFK Jr threatens to pull med school funding if they don’t address chronic diseases

The federal departments of health and education are seeking major reforms to medical school curricula in the hopes of advancing the RFK Jr-led Make America Healthy Again initiative.

Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F Kennedy, Jr and Linda McMahon, head of the Department of Education, are compelling American medical schools to ‘immediately’ add specialized nutrition classes to their required courses.

Schools, many of which have already begun classes for the academic year, have just two weeks to produce plans for introducing nutrition classes to their course catalogs or face major cuts to federal funding.

Secretary Kennedy said: ‘Medical schools talk about nutrition but fail to teach it.’

The pressure on schools is part of RFK Jr’s push to prioritize disease prevention over treatment and address what he has called a ‘chronic disease epidemic’ in the US, which has the world’s highest rates of obesity and lifelong health conditions.

The government initiative targets six critical points, from pre-med prerequisites in undergraduate education and medical school curricula to the national licensing exams, residency program requirements, board certification standards and continuing education courses for practicing doctors.

Research published in 2023 revealed a significant gap in focused nutrition education. A survey of medical students showed that about 60 percent had never been offered a nutrition course during their medical school education.

RFK Jr added: ‘We demand immediate, measurable reforms to embed nutrition education across every stage of medical training, hold institutions accountable for progress, and equip every future physician with the tools to prevent disease — not just treat it.’

The US is experiencing near-record high obesity rates, an ever-growing rate of new cancers diagnosed in young people, projected spikes in neurodegenerative diseases, and persistently high diabetes and heart disease rates.

McMahon said in a statement: ‘US medical education has not kept up with the overwhelming research on the role of nutrition in preventing and treating chronic diseases.

‘Medical schools across the country must act now to align their training with the latest research so that future physicians have the means to best help their patients stay healthy.’

Nutrition experts have persistently campaigned for medical schools to expand their nutrition curriculum, with the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC), which represents 173 US and Canadian medical schools, stating: ‘Increased attention could be afforded to nutrition topics such as the environmental impact of food production and choices on health, food labels and the health impacts of ingredients, and community food resources.’

Nearly 90 percent of all US medical schools include nutrition content in their curricula, but the instruction students receive is generally insufficient.

A 2015 study found that only 27 percent of schools provided the requisite 25 hours of nutrition education, as per the National Academy of Sciences and the Liaison Committee on Medical Education.

A 2023 study found that fewer than eight percent of medical school students reported receiving 20 or more hours of nutrition education over four years.

Some of the chronic conditions that are most common in the US include diabetes, high blood pressure, cardiovascular diseases, and cancer. Obesity, rates for which are highest in the US, is a major risk factor for a range of chronic diseases

Furthermore, data show that 75 percent of US medical schools have no required specific clinical nutrition classes in their curricula.

To address this critical gap, the federal government is proposing a strategy that would impose nutrition education requirements across a doctor’s academic career.

The nutritional knowledge gap appears most acute among the specialists treating conditions where diet plays a critical role, including endocrinologists, cardiologists, oncologists and nephrologists, according to Duke University researchers.

They cited a 2017 study that found 90 percent of subspecialists received little to no formal nutrition education during their fellowship training, with 59 percent reporting a similar deficit during residency.

A lack of foundational training has a direct impact on clinical practice.

A separate survey at NYU Langone Health revealed that, consequently, only 14 percent of healthcare providers felt confident discussing nutrition with their patients.

‘In addition, we immediately need to address the critical shortage of physician nutrition specialists who will serve as the next generation of leaders in clinical nutrition care and research,’ Duke researchers added.

Expanded nutrition education in medical schools has significant support among doctors.

Dr Jo Marie Reilly, a professor at the University of Southern California’s Keck School of Medicine, Dr David Eisenberg, a professor at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, and a cadre of other doctors published a recommendation in JAMA Network Open last year for a national curriculum, which would involve 36 ‘nutritional competencies’ for medical students to meet.

RFK Jr set a lofty goal for his tenure six months ago: to reverse the chronic disease epidemic in America. Yet the federal government has pulled funding for key projects aimed at reducing chronic disease.

The Trump administration’s proposal to eliminate the National Center for Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Promotion, along with its $1.4 billion in annual funding, is among the most consequential of its efforts to scale back federal public health initiatives.

The National Center for Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Promotion houses programs to track and prevent diabetes in children, adolescents, and young adults, heart disease and stroke, and cancer, as well as risk factors including obesity and tobacco use.

US Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth said in May during the Singapore-based Shangri La Dialogue the US would focus more on the, “Indo-Pacific” region after years of distractions waging war and regime change elsewhere around the globe.

Since then, there has been a border war between Thailand and Cambodia precipitated by US-backed politicians on both sides of the border, and now violent “student protests” in Indonesia similar to US-sponsored riots in Hong Kong and Thailand in recent years.

Known Western government funded (including US NED-funded) media organizations, “rights groups,” and others (like Remotivi, Project Multatuli and Jakarta Legal Aid) in Indonesia are openly backing the protests and attacking the current government.

Their social media presence has spent the duration of the protests condemning the government and police and encouraging unrest. The same formula of violent protests forcing police responses, leading to injured or dead protesters, thus increasing the size and violence of the protests is in motion. The same US color revolution gimmicks – using colors, flags, pop culture symbols for protest branding are also being used. In Thailand it was the “Hunger Games” and “Harry Potter,” in Indonesia, the BBC boasts of “One Piece” pirate flags being flown.

The goal at best is to install a client regime willing to transform Indonesia into a Ukraine-style battering ram against China, and at a minimum, destabilize the nation and reduce its utility in both China’s and all of Asia’s rise.

Germany blocks EU sanctions on Israel

Germany has blocked the European Commission’s latest proposal to sanction Israel over the war in Gaza, Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul has said.

Israel has faced a growing backlash over its conduct in the conflict, and has been accused of allowing almost no aid into the enclave. Several Western states have announced plans to recognize Palestine as a state, and in some cases, scale back military and trade cooperation with Israel.

The European Commission last week proposed suspending Israel’s participation in the Horizon Europe research program, cutting off funding for Israeli start-ups in drone technology, cybersecurity, and AI. This was intended to pressure Israel to improve humanitarian aid deliveries, according to a draft resolution.

Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of an EU meeting in Copenhagen on Saturday, Wadephul said Germany rejected the plan, as it was “not convinced” that curbing Israel’s access to EU research funds would influence its military action. Instead, he noted that Berlin has already restricted the delivery of weapons that can be used in Gaza, suggesting Brussels should focus on similar steps.

“I believe this is a very targeted measure, one that is very important and very necessary,” he said.

EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas acknowledged on Saturday that the bloc is divided on the issue, and that she is “not very optimistic” that ministers will reach an agreement soon, even though it does not require full unanimity. She added that some states want stronger economic pressure.

Denmark, which holds the EU’s rotating presidency, recently signaled support for tougher sanctions, such as suspending trade with Israel. Spanish Foreign Minister Jose Manuel Albares and his Slovenian counterpart, Tanja Fajon, have condemned the EU’s inaction over Gaza. Fajon told Bloomberg this week that the bloc has not imposed “a single measure” against Israel, contrasting it with the bloc’s unity in sanctioning Russia over the Ukraine conflict.

The Gaza conflict began in 2023 when Hamas militants attacked Israel, killing around 1,200 people and taking more than 250 hostages. Since then, Israeli forces have killed more than 61,000 people in the enclave. A UN-backed panel earlier this month declared that there is a famine in northern Gaza, with over half a million people on the brink of starvation.

Is Trump Administration Special Envoy Paolo Zampolli Behind the Epstein Files Cover-up?

When Trump and his MAGA base try to refute the claim that Jeffrey Epstein introduced Melania to Trump, they claim it was Paolo Zampolli instead, as if there is much of a difference.

As Whitney and Mark report, Zampolli seems to be an Italian mob-type of figure who is “untouchable.”

Paolo Zampolli’s appointment to a new government position seemingly made just for him should be the subject of increased scrutiny, not just due to Zampolli’s affiliations to the broader network of Epstein, Brunel and Maxwell, but also due to the decades of covert and corrupt wheeling-and-dealing that has marked his career in real estate, in “diplomacy” and now in U.S. foreign and trade policy.

It is truly remarkable that, despite all that this investigation has documented, Zampolli has never been investigated or charged for criminal activity. He appears oddly protected from scrutiny.

This is true also for the press, especially considering so many outlets would presumably jump at the chance to un-earth the deep corruption of the man that Trump and Melania say introduced them, especially when confronted with the assertion that it had been Jeffrey Epstein.

Paolo Zampolli is truly an ambassador for one thing — brazen corruption in the global power structure. The fact that he would be given a special role involving foreign trade and partnerships in the current administration by Trump is mind-boggling — at least if you take Trump’s political rhetoric at face value.

The Trump administration’s dramatic reversal with respect to the Jeffrey Epstein case continues to confuse and enthrall, with President Trump still doubling down that the entire “Epstein thing” is a “Democrat hoax.”

While Democrats certainly have sought to take advantage of the situation for partisan ends, the reversal in rhetoric –– particularly after transparency in the Epstein case was made an important part of Trump’s 2024 campaign –– has seemingly defied explanation.

Indeed, the timing of the reversal, which occurred after a protracted delay and then final reneging on releasing files about the case, has been hard for many to swallow.

Amid the fall-out from the administration’s about-face, the Trump administration has sought to mitigate the failure to “release the files” by publishing interviews with Ghislaine Maxwell (who has been desperately seeking a pardon or commuted sentence) and by issuing subpoenas to Bill and Hillary Clinton, a clear effort to divert “transparency” in the case into something more politically favorable to Republicans.

However, as posited in Unlimited Hangout’s series “First Friends,” Trump’s effort to alter the narrative around the Epstein case may be aimed at shielding, not only potentially himself, but people in his close social circle, including at least one figure currently serving in his administration.

That figure, Paolo Zampolli –– the administration’s current Special Envoy for Global Partnerships –– is the subject of this investigation.

In Part I of this series, we met one of Trump’s closest friends from Italy: Flavio Briatore, a P2 lodge and Italian mafia-linked businessman with ties to prominent Victoria’s Secret Angels, at least one of whom he introduced to Epstein.

In this second installment, the connections of Zampolli, another Italian close to both Trump and Briatore, are the focus.

Zampolli has been in the news recently, not for the backdoor wheeling-and-dealing of his new, official U.S. government post, but because Trump and his wife Melania claim to have been first introduced by Zampolli amid assertions to the contrary that claim it had been Epstein.

As this investigation will show, Zampolli is deeply corrupt.

From his beginnings as a protégé for the controversial modeling mogul John Casablancas, a man known for his appetite for what he called “child women,” Zampolli grew his modeling empire with money from Silvio Berlusconi, the corrupt Italian Prime Minister (and close friend of Flavio Briatore) who was forced to resign for his sexual escapades with minors while in office.

Zampolli would later follow Casablanca’s example and marry his wife when she was 19, having met her not long after she had flown as an under-age teen on Epstein’s “Lolita Express.”

After leaving the world of modeling to work for Donald Trump in the early 2000s, Zampolli would become closely affiliated with the Clintons as well as the United Nations, where he worked on their climate change initiatives and on the development of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals, or SDGs.

In particular, Zampolli was part of the team that developed SDG 14 “Life Under Water” alongside Stuart Beck, a figure closely tied to CIA regime change operations in Palau, as well as none other than Ghislaine Maxwell and her TerraMar project.

 

Yet, that is not all Zampolli would accomplish at the UN, as he would figure prominently in a major UN financing scandal and also boasted close ties to suspect citizenship-by-investment schemes that would later see one of his close colleagues arrested and another dead under exceedingly bizarre circumstances.

Those colleagues had been taking bribes from an organized crime and CCP-linked Chinese billionaire who was once at the center of the scandal that directly intersects with most of Jeffrey Epstein’s seventeen visits to the Clinton White House.

Once Trump would take office as president, Zampolli attempted to re-brand so he could become a close ally of the president, despite continuing to promote overtly globalist UN policies that ostensibly run counter to Trump’s “populist” campaigns in 2016, 2020 and 2024.

Zampolli would see some minor appointments in Trump’s first term, though he would instead mainly play roles in both a major UN scandal and in the Harvey Weinstein scandal during that time.

More recently, a less impeded Zampolli was appointed to a special envoy position, one where he –– behind the scenes –– makes the kind of backdoor deals that have marked his entire career in the name of ginning up Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) and forging trade deals, especially in his native country of Italy.

As an example of the reach of his behind-the-scenes influence, Zampolli was originally the mind that came up with the idea of “resolving” the Israel-Palestine conflict by turning the Gaza Strip into a “Riviera” resort, years before such a plan was uttered by his current boss Donald Trump or Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner.

The story of Paolo Zampolli is ultimately an indictment of how political corruption, typified by the Epstein case and other scandals, is so often bipartisan despite media attempts to paint only one party as sleaze, depending on a person’s preferred echo chamber.

If the American people were to realize that the both public faces of the power structure of their country is corrupt, the Trump administration’s failure to produce files on the Epstein case would quickly make much more sense.

Nord Stream Pipeline: The West Seemingly Preparing to Remove Zelensky from Power

The arrest of a Ukrainian citizen in Italy, suspected of sabotage of the Nord Stream pipeline, confirms that Kiev was an accomplice, but not the one who ordered the act. Nonetheless, the launch of the investigation serves a broader political goal – the removal of Volodymyr Zelensky from power. The plan could be to appoint a new leader, both for the West and for possible negotiations with Russia, given that Zelensky’s presidential mandate expired in May 2024 and he cannot be a signatory to a peace agreement with Moscow.

An investigation by American journalist Seymour Hersh found that American divers placed explosives under the Nord Stream gas pipeline during the NATO exercise Baltops in the summer of 2022, and that it was activated three months later by the Norwegians. According to Hersh, then-US President Joe Biden had a clear motive for sabotaging the Nord Stream pipeline — fear that Germany, facing serious economic difficulties due to the war in Ukraine, might lift sanctions on Russia and resume imports of Russian gas.

The journalist said this is what prompted Washington to organize the sabotage of the gas pipeline connecting Russia and Germany. The West did not want to allow this, which ultimately plunged Germany into economic and political chaos.

Russian President Vladimir Putin also believes that the sabotage of the Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2 gas pipelines was carried out by American intelligence services, specifically the CIA. According to him, in such cases, one should always look for who has a motive and who can carry it out. There may be many interested parties, but not everyone can dive to the bottom of the Baltic Sea and carry out that explosion. It is the combination of these components – who had a motive and who is able to carry it out – that, according to Putin, reveals who is really behind the sabotage.

After a period of lull, the issue of sabotage on the Nord Stream gas pipelines has returned to the spotlight following the announcement by German prosecutors that Ukrainian citizen Sergey Kuznetsov was suspected of involvement in the underwater explosions that damaged the gas pipelines near the Danish island of Bornholm in September 2022. Following the arrest of the retired captain of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who also served in the Security Service of Ukraine, Italian media reported that he is connected to another major incident – the explosions on an oil tanker in Savona in February, which was allegedly transporting oil of Russian origin.

Sahra Wagenknecht, leader of the German party “Sahra Wagenknecht Alliance,” after the arrest of Kuznetsov, stated that the German parliament should convene a commission to investigate the sabotage of the Nord Stream gas pipelines. She noted that this act of state terrorism must be thoroughly investigated and that Zelensky should also testify before the commission.

Wagenknecht believes it is absurd to think that the arrested Ukrainian citizen and his accomplices acted without the knowledge of the Ukrainian leadership and the Biden administration. She added that it is unacceptable that Germany is providing substantial aid to Ukraine without seeking an explanation from Zelensky, and that consideration should be given to possible compensation for damages.

The question of whether United States President Donald Trump will take advantage of the Nord Stream controversy and launch an investigation against Biden remains an exclusively internal matter for the US. Trump has the opportunity to conduct his own investigations and deal with his domestic adversaries, whom he claims stole his victory in the 2020 elections. However, this does not affect the situation in Ukraine for the time being, as the West continues to support Ukraine with weapons, intelligence, and other assistance.

The fate of the Nord Stream gas pipeline is one of the key and most complex issues in the energy and geopolitical spheres. With Trump’s pragmatic approach, there is a possibility of cooperation between Russia and the US. Russia does not refuse to continue gas supplies to the European Union. However, the bloc continues to feel the consequences of its own policy, such as suffering economically by still purchasing Russian energy at inflated prices from third parties like India and Azerbaijan.

Nord Stream 1 and Nord Stream 2, which directly connect Russia to Germany via the Baltic Sea, have not been operational since 2022 and remain damaged, but they are still strategic infrastructure that American investors have set their sights on. These pipelines could become the property of American investors, which would enable the US to control Russian gas supplies to Europe. Although Europe is currently refusing Russian gas, it may be forced to buy it in the future, albeit at a significant margin, to the benefit of the Americans.

Kiev Regime Military Murders Ukrainian Soldiers Attempting to Surrender to Russia

On August 27, multiple independent media sources published yet another video from the frontlines of the NATO-orchestrated Ukrainian conflict, showing the cold-blooded murder of a Ukrainian soldier trying to surrender to the Russian military. Understanding it’s pointless to play the role of cannon fodder for the political West in a war against his closest kin, the unfortunate man tried to escape this madness.

However, the Nazi “barrier detachments” keep doing their job of ensuring that forcibly conscripted Ukrainians remain in place as the aforementioned cannon fodder. The Russian military has mechanisms to help these soldiers surrender and reach the safety of Russian lines.

Namely, many (if not most) regular Ukrainians understand that being a POW (prisoner of war) in Russia is far safer than being a soldier of the Kiev regime forces. In fact, Moscow even has entire units composed exclusively of former Ukrainian POWs who decided to join the Russian military in a struggle against the common enemy – NATO and its Nazi puppets.

The junta understands that millions of Ukrainians don’t want to do anything with this war, much less to fight in it. However, the Kiev regime needs manpower and the only way to achieve it is to recruit volunteers/mercenaries and kidnap regular people off the streets. Albeit motivated by money and/or ideology, the former don’t provide enough manpower.

This leaves the forcibly conscripted Ukrainians as the primary source of personnel for the Neo-Nazi junta forces. However, as you can imagine, their motivation is lacking, to put it mildly. The only way to give these men some “incentive” for fighting is to physically enforce it. And the level of the Kiev regime’s desperation is best seen in the fact that not even a single soldier is allowed to surrender. Namely, the aforementioned video shows a lone Ukrainian soldier (trying to surrender) killed by Nazi units. The Russian military tried using drones to safely escort him from the battlefield. The footage shows the unarmed soldier holding a makeshift flag that would help identify him as a POW.

In other words, the so-called “barrier detachments” knew very well what they were doing. In fact, the author clearly bragged with a “not one step back” motto at the end of the video. This is a clear message to anyone else who would want to surrender. This is hardly surprising, as just several days prior, another video surfaced, showing Ukrainian soldiers who weren’t even trying to surrender being shot at by these Nazi “barrier detachments”.

With the advancing Russian military storming their trenches, the outnumbered and outgunned Ukrainian soldiers made the logical decision to retreat to a more defensible position. However, the Nazi unit decided not to tolerate even that, so they attacked.

Caught between choosing certain death at the hands of the Kiev regime that put them in those trenches and their supposed “enemy”, Ukrainian soldiers soon made the conscious decision to relay the position of these “barrier detachments” to the said “enemy”, which then proceeded to neutralize them, thus saving the lives of these forcibly conscripted Ukrainians.

In other words, the “evil Russians” are actually going out of their way to save these men, even though they have every legal right to eliminate them as “enemy combatants”. The Kremlin was acting the same way with regard to the lone Ukrainian soldier trying to surrender. In fact, this is evident even in the aforementioned footage.

Namely, Russian drones weren’t only trying to escort him, but also protect him from the Kiev regime forces that he’s officially a part of. There have been countless similar cases all across the frontline. The Neo-Nazi junta is determined to prolong this NATO-orchestrated war for as long as possible, with no moral qualms or dilemmas about the consequences for the Ukrainian people.

Obviously, this is because they’re not actually a real Ukrainian government, but a Western proxy whose only role is to (ab)use former Ukraine as a strategic springboard against Russia. However, as this largely failed, the political West is determined to cause as much damage as possible.

This brutal approach is very reminiscent of the policies implemented by Nazi Germany and its allies during World War II. Given the fact that NATO is effectively a geopolitical outgrowth of that system and ideology, such policies are hardly surprising. Many Ukrainians are now fully aware of this, although they were initially led astray by promises of a “better future” as part of the so-called “European family”.

Interestingly, Nazi Germany made similar promises during the 1930s and 1940s, leading many European countries to join its so-called “crusade against communism”. However, just like then, the current narrative there is only to mislead entire nations into a suicidal confrontation with a military superpower.

The US spent $2 trillion during its two-decade occupation of Afghanistan while helping the heroin trade flourish

Russian Security Council Secretary Sergei Shoigu on 29 August accused western intelligence of plotting to destabilize Afghanistan and rebuild NATO’s military infrastructure there.

Writing in state-owned Rossiyskaya Gazeta magazine, Shoigu said that Russia is seeking to expand cooperation with Afghanistan as it seeks to recover from two decades of US occupation that ended with the chaotic withdrawal of US troops in 2021.

Washington spent $2 trillion to invade and occupy Afghanistan starting in 2001, Shoigu noted, while facilitating the production of opium, much of which was used to make heroin for export to Russia.

Shoigu explained that opium production in the country skyrocketed during the 1980s when CIA-backed extremist groups, known as the mujahideen, sought to destabilize the Soviet-backed Afghan government and later to expel occupying Soviet troops.

When the Taliban first took power in 1996, they immediately cracked down on the opium trade, only for US-backed warlords to revive it after the 2001 US invasion in the wake of 9/11.

When the Taliban took power for a second time in 2021, they all but eliminated the heroin trade once again.

Shoyghu stated that some 20 international extremist groups continue to operate in Afghanistan, undermining stability within the country and posing a serious regional and global threat.

Of greatest concern is the Afghan wing of ISIS, which has training camps and support bases, mainly in the east, north, and northeast of the country.

Shoigu said militants are being moved from other countries by western intelligence to destabilize regions near Russia, China, and Iran.

“There is reason to believe that behind these actions are the special services of a number of western countries, which continue to hatch plans to destabilize the region, to create chronic centers of instability near Russia, China, and Iran by means of extremist groups hostile to the Taliban,” he wrote.

“It is also clear that the western powers, having lost their positions in the Afghan direction, are hatching plans to return NATO military infrastructure facilities to the region,” he added.

Shoigu stated that as a result, Moscow is ready to assist the Taliban in stabilizing the country, including by developing anti-terrorist and anti-drug cooperation with Kabul through law enforcement agencies.

In August 2025, Donald Trump stood before cameras and said what no president had dared: America should scrap the Department of Defense and restore the Department of War. “Why are we ‘defense’?” he asked. “‘War Department’ sounded stronger… when we used to win wars all the time.” He even bragged he could do it by executive order—no need for Congress, just the stroke of his pen. It was supposed to be bravado, a throwaway line. But in that moment, the veil lifted. America was not caught defending itself; America was boasting about conquest. For once, the empire said its name out loud.

Vietnam to Gaza: A Blood-Soaked Pattern
The history is not complicated. In Vietnam, we claimed to be stopping communism. In truth, we rained more bombs than in World War II to crush a poor nation fighting for self-determination.

In Iraq, we sold a lie about weapons of mass destruction. What we really wanted was oil and dominance. We pounded our chests with pride, televised “shock and awe,” and watched Baghdad burn like it was entertainment. To this day, Americans look back on that display of destruction with twisted pride, as though reducing a sovereign nation to rubble were a football game we won.

Afghanistan was our twenty-year proving ground. We claimed to be fighting terror, but what we really did was funnel billions to defense contractors while grinding an already broken country into dust. Lockheed Martin thrived. Northrop Grumman thrived. Halliburton feasted. The Afghan people buried their children.

Libya followed the same script: bomb in the name of “humanitarianism,” topple the state, walk away. The people got slavery markets. Our weapons makers got contracts.

And now Gaza: a caged population, starved, bombed, slaughtered. Over forty thousand dead, half of them children. And we still write the checks. We still load the planes. We still call it defense.

The Lie of Freedom
The most poisonous myth we tell ourselves is that America fights for freedom, democracy, human dignity. It is the bedtime story of empire. But every war we wage, every bomb we drop, every body we bury testifies to the opposite. We don’t fight for people—we fight for corporations, for oil, for access, for dominance. For the balance sheets of Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, Boeing, Halliburton. For the defense stocks that soar with every missile strike.

And here is the most shameful part: we celebrate it. We clap and wave the flag when the skies over Baghdad erupt in fire. We roar when presidents promise to “shock and awe.” We beam with pride when “mission accomplished” banners unfurl over mass graves. We congratulate ourselves for exporting democracy, even as we leave nations gutted and enslaved.

This is not defense. This is not freedom. It is blood-soaked theater, a grotesque spectacle we dress up in patriotism to mask our own complicity. We are not liberators—we are arsonists. And we cheer while the world burns.

Conclusion: War as Identity
Trump’s talk of a “Department of War” is not a gaffe—it is a confession. America is not about defense. It is about permanent war, war as profit, war as identity. We are an empire that feeds on destruction and calls it freedom.

The War Department has been here all along. Now it simply has a name.

This documentary explores the current crisis in Tijuana Mexico, as the city attempts to cope with ten of thousands of refugees seeking admission to the US or recently deported by the Trump administration. Millions of foreigners are either chasing the illusory American dream (“that they can lively freely and make money from nothing”). Many, after Western destabilization activities have have made survival at home impossible, are prepared to die in their effort. Other are fleeing political violence and organized crime.

Meanwhile many recent deportees, after living and working in the US illegally for decades, are leaving wives and children behind.

Tijuana presently has 30 temporary shelters to help keep migrants off the street. Flamingos, the largest temporary shelter in Latin America, houses about 1,400 migrants. Sponsor by a local religious institution, it relies on the Mexican National guard for security and requires people who leave the shelter during the day be accompanied by a staff. The shelter provides three free meals a day, training and volunteer and job opportunities and arranges for children to attend school. Local churches provide medical exams and legal assistance.

The filmmakers interview former business owners from southern Mexico and Guatemala forced to leave when they couldn’t pay protection money demanded by local gangs. One of them, a woman and former restaurant owner, is waiting for the US political refugee amnesty program to reopen. Another (who lives in a tent on the street) approaches local businesses offering to clean, unload shipments and dispose of garbage. It pays enough to cover food.

They also interview a Russian orthodox priest about Ukrainians deported earlier this year after entering the US illegally. They’re now seeking repatriation to Russia. He also talks about migrants from Congo, Africa and Cuba flocking to Tijuana hoping to gain admission to the US

The Mexico-US border is currently guarded by 10,000 troops on either side. Yet many would-be immigrants can still pay a coyote $15,000-20,000 to find them secluded areas to cross the border. They make no guarantee of success.
