Faythe Reclaimed Virtual Launch party!
Happy Thursday, peeps!
It's here! The official release day for Faythe Reclaimed (Hanaford Park #3)
See details below on how to win a digital copy or a $20 Amazon gift card!
Running through a strange forest with a bloodthirsty demon hot on her heels wasn’t Taylor’s idea of a rockin’ evening. Then again, neither was soaring backward through time and space. Time travel chafed and left a rank, nasty aftertaste. So, when she finds herself floundering amidst a sea of Commandment-loving holy rollers who fling accusations of witchcraft and bedevilment like hotcakes in a diner, finding her way home jumps to the top of her to do list. Too bad she can’t remember who she is or where she came from. And if that wasn’t bad enough, Taylor realizes she’s fallen for Gabriel, the mysterious Latin warlock who came to her rescue.
Battling an identity crisis and lost in a time that’s not her own, Taylor is determined to find her way back to twenty-first century Hanaford Park. But first, she and Gabriel must work together to uncover the dark scourge lurking in the shadows of Salem Village, and in doing so, save their lives, and the lives of countless innocents from a lethal date with the hangman’s noose.
Bear with me, friends while I shout from the rooftops: Woohoo! I’m so excited to finally be able to share Faythe Reclaimed with all of you.I’ve mentioned a time or two that the title of Taylor and Gabriel’s story is a play on words. Gabriel’s journey to regain both his faith in himself and the love of his life is full of pain and angst. Looking back on the months it took to write the story, I have to say my writing process felt very similar at times! Faythe Reclaimed is very different from the first two books in the Hanaford Park series, as was my writing process during its creation. On a good writing day, I can usually put down anywhere from one thousand to fifteen hundred words. While writing FR, I was lucky to come away with five hundred. I was extra picky, never satisfied. My vision for Taylor and Gabriel was very clear, and I wouldn’t settle for anything less than what I saw in my head. Some days I’d write my usual fifteen hundred words and delete half of them, others I’d stare at my computer screen in frustration because my characters didn’t want to cooperate. Writing Taylor and Gabriel’s story, though rewarding on many levels, was a daunting task, and one that made me question myself, and my writing abilities on more than one occasion. Had I bitten off more than I could chew? Was the story too big? Would readers accept the change in point of view? There were so many questions that weighed heavily on my heart.Through all of the worry and frustration, I stubbornly kept to my original vision for Gabriel and Taylor’s love story, having faith that the story would play out the way it was meant to. In the end, I believe it did, and I’m so excited to be able to share it with all of you.

1. Congratulations on the release of your latest work, Fall In Love. Can you tell us a little bit about it? It is a novella about an Aussie Farmer who is lonely living on a remote cattle station. He goes in search of someone to share his life and finds more than he ever expected to.
Michael Dunbar runs his families cattle station in the far north of Western Australia. Station life is lonely and he wishes there was a way that he could find a companion that wouldn’t mind living the outback life with him. In hopes of finding a woman, Michael heads to Broome for a few weeks holiday. What he finds is something he never expected to. Mia Mason a Perth girl, who longs to leave the city behind for a life in the country. Can two like minds fall in love, only destiny knows?
2. What prompted you to write this particular story? Was there a special event, occurrence, song etc. that sparked an idea?
This is kind of an odd/funny story. Here in Australia we have a reality TV show called ‘Farmer Wants a Wife’ I was watching one night and suddenly my mind was like wonder what a farmer would have to go through if he couldn’t find a wife and he didn’t have a TV show to help him. Next thing I knew I had written 7000 words in about 3 hours.
3. Which of your characters do you relate to the most, and why?
I think I relate to Mia the most there is definitely a lot of me in her.
4. Did you have a character or scene that you struggled with? How were you able to push through?
Thankfully, this is one of my stories that just poured out of me, and I wasn’t really stuck on it at all. But usually if I am stuck I put whatever I am working on aside for a while and when I come back to it I can move on.5. If you were able to spend an evening with one of your characters, who would you choose, and why?
It would most definitely be Michael he is a sweetheart in a rough a ready package and I would love to spend a night with him.
6. Do you have any writing quirks?
Silence! I must have silence that is why you will most likely find me up after midnight typing away furiously on my laptop.
7. Favorite author or book? Oh there are just too many to list and they change so regularly
8. What are three things your readers don’t know about you?a. My grammar and punctuation usually sucks unless I am writing smut then it seems to be perfect for some reason.b. I have visited more than half of the US states.c. I want to visit all Disneyland’s in the world, before I die. So far I have been to all the LA parks, all the Florida parks and the Hong Kong park.
9. What is the strangest thing you’ve ever eaten?
I am an extremely fussy eater so I am very bland with my eating so I don’t think I have ever eaten anything strange.
10. What is the craziest thing you’ve ever done?
ooo probably when I went paragliding in Vancouver.
11. If ‘Fall In Love’ were made into a movie, who would you like to see cast?
Oh this one is easy a young Hugh Jackman.
Blurb:Michael Dunbar finds his secluded life on a cattle station in the outback to be lonely. Mia Mason longs to leave the hustle and bustle of the city behind for a quiet life in the country. Find out what happens when fate causes these two paths to cross.

Author bio:I am a 36 year-old mother of a 3-year-old son. I live in Perth Western Australia. I am predominantly a stay at home mum, though iIdo still work a few hours a week as a Software Support Consultant to keep my brain active.
I have always loved to read and write and spent most of my teens writing poetry and short stories. Over the years as daily life pressures got in the way I lost the passion for it. After my son was born, I was looking for something to do while feeding him because as fun as just watching him drink was, I wanted something to keep my brain active. I discovered online books and well my interest in writing was rekindled. It has been a large part of my life ever since.

Book spotlight: Satisfying The Curse by Kelly Gendron
Juliana Pratt is cursed. Her father's warned her many times she's destined to be a wanton just like her adulteress mother. It's why he's kept her in all-girls schools, hidden away from his elite society. However, when her father's arrested for murder, he needs Juliana to come into the spotlight to portray the doting daughter. Juliana agrees to the interviews and talk shows, but before she goes on the two-week tour of lies about her father, and with him behind bars and unable to stop her, she must first take care of her starving curse. And Juliana picks the perfect man to get the job done. She secures him to a bed, but fails terribly at finishing the task. Her thoroughly teased curse is left famished. Later, Juliana discovers that the man she'd chosen to fulfill her every fantasy is also the agent assigned to protect her for the next two weeks. Her curse becomes relentless and will stop at nothing until the delectable NESA Agent T. Ryker has satisfied its hunger.Agent T. Ryker prides himself on his discipline-that is, until his new assignment, Juliana Pratt, puts that renowned discipline to the ultimate test. Once he discovers that Juliana is the woman who drugged and handcuffed him to the bed in his hotel room, he also finds out her true identity. Ryker agrees to satisfy Juliana's ravenous curse, but he has his own reasons for doing it, and it's not just to give Juliana's body what it craves... for there is something else Agent T. Ryker wants from Juliana Pratt...
Excerpt:
It was dark. He was groggy. His body was heavy and exhausted. Something sweet, like the scent of lavender and pumpkin pie, wafted to Ryker's nose. He couldn't help but inhale deeply, taking in more of the arousing aroma. It almost soothed the throbbing in his head. He tried to lift his hand to massage the pulsating ache, but a strong bond stopped his wrists. He tried to open his weighty lids. The light stung his eyes. It took a few minutes for his eyes to adjust. Finally he saw her, a woman dressed as if she were going to a masquerade ball. The little black feathers didn't hide the bright green eyes peering back at him through the mask. Her hair was dark with auburn highlights. It was unruly, long, and tousled, but in a most alluring way. He scanned her tall, slender body that was covered only by a thin, black, silky dress. It was like a lingerie teaser on the cover of Playboy, something to lure you to buy the magazine so you could see the nude centerfolds. Hmm. Green eyes and dark hair? Well, this certainly is not little Miss Mindy, he thought, imagining that the sexy little blue-eyed blonde was probably sitting at the bar still waiting for him, thinking she'd been stood up.He tried to sit up, but all of his extremities were pinned down. When he realized he couldn't move, he looked to his feet, then quickly to his hands. They were bound by leather straps, and a sheet was draped over the lower half of his body. He wiggled, and damn it, his bare ass slid against the mattress. What the hell is going on here? He was tied to a bed, naked, and he had no idea how he got there. The last thing he remembered was going back to his hotel room for a shower. He was jetlagged from the plane trip and exhausted from the fight. He remembered sitting down on the chair just for a second to take a rest and... Wait! Had she drugged him? Is that where his headache was coming from? The fogginess? The water bottle. Ryker recalled only one in the fridge, so that he'd had to take that one. It must have been meant for him. Son of a fucking bitch!"Don't be afraid." The woman's voice was low and provocative, but reassuring.Ryker scowled at her accusation. "Afraid? I'm not afraid," he snapped. Pissed, he thought, but not afraid."It's a natural reaction," she pointedly stated. "You're vulnerable right now, and vulnerability comes from being unable to protect yourself." She took a few steps toward him. "But do you know what you're trying to protect yourself from?" She stopped beside the bed and tapped her finger against the leather restraint on his wrist."You're afraid because you fear what we all fear... pain. But I'm not going to hurt you."Ryker suspiciously examined her, trying to figure out who the hell she was. He chuckled. "You've got me confused with the general population. It takes a lot more than some chick tying me up to scare me, and as for pain..."Ryker sneered at her, wishing he had some idea who his captor was."Pain is nothing more than a challenge. I find it easy to defeat.""Hmm." She thoughtfully studied him. "After seeing you fight, I'm almost inclined to believe you.""You were at the fight?" He asked the question nonchalantly, not wanting to give away his confusion. He tried to recall if he'd seen her there, but he decided that she wasn't exactly the forgettable type. She was definitely not a woman he'd pass by without a second glance, especially since he was a sucker for long legs and auburn hair. The cat-green eyes were enticing too."Yes. That's why I tied you up. You're very strong.""Listen, sweetheart-"She raised a finger as if to hush him, and Ryker-strangely enough-found himself hushed, wanting to hear what she had to say. "I want to touch you," she said. His cock disobediently thumped. She dropped her finger and crossed her arms over her breasts. "With your permission, of course. I have no intentions of raping you, and-"Really? Did she just say that? Ryker snorted at the thought. "Raping me? You fucking drugged me and tied me up!" He shook his wrists. "Doll, if you're worried about violating my body without my damn permission, I think you're already guilty." He was no longer enticed by the idea of her touching him. His libido was silenced by the extreme anger coursing through his body."Yes. As I said you are very strong.""Look, pumpkin..." Pumpkin? Did I really just call her that? Fuck! It was all he could smell. Ryker lifted his chest from the bed, getting as close to her as his restraints would possibly allow. "If you wanted to get laid, all you needed to do was ask," he seethed, speaking for his cock, for at that moment, anger was filling the head connected to his neck. And he wasn't a fan of being shackled to a hotel bed, no matter how hot she was. She didn't even flinch or back away from his aggression, and oddly enough, both of his heads were pleased about that. Ryker preferred a woman with a little gumption, and this one clearly had more than her fair share."I'm not entirely sure I want to have sex with you, and as I was trying to explain to you, that is why I needed to tie you up."When the little feline admitted so matter-of-factly that she wasn't sure she wanted to get laid, both of his heads agreed that it came as a bit of a disappointment. Ryker settled back on the bed, his body still fatigued from the fight and whatever drug she'd spiked his water with. He inspected her. Was she trying to tell him she tied him up for her own safety? He was sure that she didn't really know him, because if she did, she would have known that there was no need for that, his discipline was indestructible. He had needs and urges just like everybody else, but even he'd never take a woman without her consent-not to say that once consent was established, the woman wouldn't find herself in a bad way, crying and writhing beneath his relentless body. "If you don't want to fuck, then what the hell do you want?"She sighed. "As I said, I want to touch you."Ryker was leery, not sure how to respond. What man wouldn't want this chick to touch him? Already, his rod bellowed to let her do it, but his loss of power was berating him, demanding that he regain control over the situation. He wasn't at all comfortable in the submissive position, something he'd never experienced before nor wanted to, and lying there like a shark without its teeth, he knew why. He needed to regain control while maintaining his strict discipline. That was what he prided himself on. After all, he had to. His blood was contaminated."Tell you what..." he said, nodding toward her dress. Cuffed or not, it was time for Ryker to grab a hold of the reigns. "Why don't you take that dress off, and we'll see how my body reacts to you," he said, drawing his gaze back up to her jade eyes, "and then I'll let you know if you may touch me."She tilted her head considerately and turned to the door, perhaps thinking of running. Ryker hoped she wouldn't, because he didn't need to be left in that awkwardly helpless position, still tied to the hotel room bed. Her head slowly twisted back. She moved her hands to the bottom of the thin material and lifted.Ryker held his breath. Beneath that teasing little dress, she wore a black lace push-up bra. A sneak peek of the start of her blushing nipples filled his eyes, but they were quickly drawn down to her flat stomach, where there was a small tattoo with some type of Chinese symbol arced above her belly button. He averted to her panties, which were also skimpy and black. Thump, thump. His cock responded fiercely beneath the sheet, demanding that Ryker allow her to touch him.He glimpsed down at the lift in the sheet between his legs, and she followed his eyes. She lifted her chin, and a noticeable sly smile turned up her sweet, plump lips. "It appears your body is reacting appropriately."Ryker groaned. There's nothing appropriate about getting turned on by a bitch who drugged me and kidnapped me...
About the author:
Kelly resides in a quiet suburb somewhere between Buffalo and Niagara Falls, NY. Her backyard is small but secluded. During the summer you'll find Kelly in her sunroom. The winter months, she sits in her writing room. Her two favorites places to go and write after she gets home from her other job- representing a group of nursing facilities in the WNY area. The weekends are when she really gets lost. She forgets about the dishes, laundry and the family tends to ask her the same question twice. You can usually find her peeking up from her laptop saying "what?" as she tries to pull herself away from her story and come back to the world going on around her. Writing, what other way is there to describe it- it's Kelly's conviction. After working in the human health field profession for nearly two decades, Kelly's aware of how deficient many people's daily lives are of true human connection. Through her writing she strives to reconnect readers with those all-too-rare feelings of unquenchable desire, heated passion and splendid euphoria.Kelly has been faithfully writing for three years but did write her first book ten years ago. She put it down to raise her son as a single mom and then picked it back up when she and her son finally grew up. That's when she settled into her adult life and started to seriously write again. She's dabbled with paranormal stories, but recently she's been on a Romantic Suspense kick. The recipe for the men in her stories: dark and mysterious, strong and confident and, of course, besides magnificent bodies, and shameless aptitudes, they must have a heart you want to rip out of the pages (or your e-Reader) and take to bed with you at night.

Interview with author Leia Shaw
[image error]
Hey, peeps! Please join me in welcoming author Leia Shaw to my blog today!
1. Congratulations on the release of your latest work. Can you tell us a little bit about it?
Shadows of Destiny is a 3 book series (book four comes out in June) where the supernatural world is hidden among our modern day world as we know it. What you can expect from my books is an action packed adventure full of magic, bloodshed, dark tortured alpha males, strong smart women, and hot steamy romance. My books are primarily character stories - a man and a woman who overcome insurmountable odds and fall in love. But they do it with sword in hand, fighting ghoulish creatures and aren't afraid to get a little dirty.
2. What prompted you to write this particular story? Was there a special event, occurrence, song etc. that sparked an idea?
A dream started my first book in the series, Destiny Divided. I dreamt a sassy young woman with anger issues and mysterious powers gets found by a sorcerer who teaches her how to use them responsibly. From there, the story formed then my series took flight.
3. Which of your characters do you relate to the most, and why?
Sage, the heroine from my first book. I can’t relate to her childhood – she grew up in foster care and has been lonely most of her life. But I put a lot of my smart-ass personality into her. I don’t have as bad a temper though. She tries to kill the hero in the second chapter.
4. Did you have a character or scene that you struggled with? How were you able to push through?
Oh definitely. There are scenes in each book that can be hard to write. Normally it’s involving sex. Because I want it to be more than the physical acts, I want the reader to feel the sensations, the connection, the emotions both characters are feeling. It can be difficult.
5. If you were able to spend an evening with one of your characters, who would you choose, and why?
*Gasp* You mean I have to choose between my sexy heroes? Sacrilege! I guess I’d choose, Marcelo from my 2nd book, Destiny United. He’s the ultimate alpha male – a dangerous, sexy Spanish vampire who’s ultra romantic when he wants to be and ultra cutthroat when he needs to be. Mmm…
6. Do you have any writing quirks?
Nope. Just a locked door and my laptop and I’m good to go.
7. Favorite author?
Definitely Kresley Cole. She can do no wrong.
8. What is the craziest thing you’ve ever done?Too many to count and too embarrassing to fess up to.
9. If your book were made into a movie, who would you like to see cast? For Destiny Unchained, I’d pick Josh Holloway to play werewolf alpha Cristian. And Kate Beckinsale to play Natalia, a vampire assassin.

One month until the release of Faythe Reclaimed (Hanaford Park #3)!!!
Hells to the yeah!
Pardon me while I do a little jog on my dining room table. I'm just a wee bit excited.
The release of Faythe Reclaimed is just around the corner! I finally get to share Taylor and Gabriel's story with you! Woot!
Out of all the Hanaford Park books, Taylor and Gabriel's story was both the most difficult and the most rewarding. Difficult for a reason I can't mention without spoiling the entire story, and rewarding because after months of struggling to make sure I had everything just right, I believe I ended up with a story that is bigger than its predecessors, darker, angstier, and a heck of a lot steamier. And hey...who doesn't enjoy steamier? Right?
Oh, and did I mention the story is told from both Taylor and Gabriel's points of view? Yep! That's right, baby. This story is as much about Gabriel's journey as it is Taylor's, and we get inside look into his thoughts and feelings throughout. Woot!
The title of book three is special, and holds quite a bit of meaning as it's a definite play on words. Beaten down and oppressed by judgmental haters for the majority of his life, Gabriel has lost his faith, in both himself and others. The majority of the story takes place in Salem Village circa 1692. You can imagine the amount of acceptance displayed by most of the people during that time period: none. Couple this lack of trust in humanity as a whole with the loss of the only woman he's ever loved, and you've got the makings for an angst-filled story that showcases Gabriel's journey to regain his faith/Faythe.
I CAN NOT WAIT to share Taylor and Gabriel's story with all of you! To mark the release of Faythe Reclaimed, I'm throwing a Virtual Launch Party, and I'd love for you to join me!
Launch Party Date: May 17thTo celebrate the release of Faythe Reclaimed (Hanaford Park #3) I'll be giving away three e-copies of the book and a $20 Amazon Gift Card.

Cover reveal: Faythe Reclaimed
Happy Monday, peeps!
I'm so excited to finally reveal the cover of Hanaford Park #3, Faythe Reclaimed!
Check it out!
Blurb:

And to tease you, I'm going to post an excerpt from the first chapter. Woot! Hope you enjoy!
This portion of text is taken from The Traveler's pov:
Dark, viscous liquid pooled onto the rotting floorboards below her body, the blackened puddle oddly reminiscent of a Rorschach inkblot.Suppressed memories and emotions I’d believed long dead amassed from deep within, slamming me with a powerful crescendo of…Madre de Dios…feeling. Something I hadn’t experienced since the moment I’d lost my other half.Nausea and desperation mimicked acid, burning a hole through my gut and my chest as I allowed my gaze to wander north. I knew what I’d find, and…fuck it all to hell…it scared me to death.Taylor. The exotic beauty who’d breezed into my life just days before. The angel who’d awoken me from the state of numbness I’d resided in for three centuries. The woman who was an exact match in every way to my long deceased Faythe, hanged upside down and unconscious in front of me.Thud…
Thud…
Thud…
My heartbeat… It echoed in my ears like a muted drumbeat. The rapid tympani so synonymous with anger and rage oddly diminished and muffled as though I were listening to it from deep within the bowels of the ocean. How? How had I allowed my enemy to capture the beautiful creature who’d breathed life into my pathetic existence?I thrashed against the magical bonds holding me captive, every fiber of my being filled with panic, desperation—and rage. Supernatural throwdowns were a normal part of my everyday life. A warlock, an exiled member of one of Europe’s most powerful covens, I’d been bred to do battle, to fight the dregs of the underworld—with magic.Magic. It had been my saving grace, time and again. It was also the bane of my fucking existence…much like time. I hated my magic, almost as much as I hated myself. Witchcraft, limitless power…both proved worthless when they didn’t allow you to save the one you loved. My magic hadn’t kept Faythe’s neck out of the hangman’s noose. My stomach seized as I took in the large gash at the back of Taylor’s head. My magic hadn’t kept her safe either.Slow, heavy footfalls sounded in the far off distance, and it wasn’t until a pair of black shoes slid into view opposite the crimson puddle staining the floor that I was able to tear my eyes from Taylor.Lucian.Heat burned beneath the surface of my skin as a ruddy, fury-induced haze clouded my vision. Lucian. His name alone sent an upsurge of hatred and disgust that fueled my rage. A long time enemy of my coven, and a complete shit in every sense of the word, he’d declared war against my coven-mate, my brother in magic, in a maniacal quest for power. Taylor, a mortal who’d only recently become aware of the existence of supernaturals, had been caught in the crossfire; another innocent harmed because of my fucked up legacy.Dressed entirely in black, blue eyes darkened with malice, Lucian strutted around Taylor’s limp body like a goddamned peacock on parade.Every molecule in my body screamed to end him, to rip his head from his body, dance in his entrails, ensure he suffered massive amounts of pain before sending him to hell. I closed my eyes, focused on my powers, fought to break free from the invisible bands he’d trapped me in.I groaned in frustration. Nothing. Fucking nothing. The asshole had dampened my powers when he’d captured me. He was lucky. Lucky he’d managed to get the drop on me. Because if he hadn’t, he’d be dead.Fingertips pressed together, he arched a brow and sneered. “Gabriel, is it? I’ve heard of you and of the great loss you suffered.” He cast a sidelong glance at Taylor, brow raised, then turned to face me once more. “She bears a remarkable likeness to your Faythe, does she not?”Alarm flooded my system. My body shook. My jaw ached. My chest felt like it might explode.Lucian’s words echoed inside my head, gave voice to the troubled thoughts that consumed my every waking breath. Was it possible? Was Taylor, the woman I’d crossed paths with just days before, the same beauty I’d fallen in love with three hundred years ago?The woman I’d sworn to protect? The woman who’d died during the Salem Witch trials, a direct result of the wretched curse I carried? Her physical similarities to Faythe were nothing short of astonishing. Aside from the modern clothing she wore, she was an exact duplicate in every way. Same long russet hair; same fine bone structure and flawless skin; same long, slender build. I’d never come across a doppelganger before and marveled, again, at the extraordinary woman before me.
I hope you enjoyed the snippet and the cover! Faythe Reclaimed debuts on May 17th! Woot! Just one more month!

With the release of Faythe Reclaimed, book three in the Hanaford Park series just a short time away, I though it would be fun to schedule a cover reveal.
I CANNOT wait to share the cover with you. Author, Killian McRae did a fabu job making sure that it fits in with the rest of the series. Love, love, love it!
If you are a blogger, or just really passionate about the series and own a blog, please leave a comment here with an email addy you can be reached at. I'll contact you with the details. Yay!
