Cover reveal: Stay With Me by Elyssa Patrick
Blurb:
With one look, I’m his . . .
With one touch, he’s mine . . .
With one kiss, it changes everything between us . . .
I’ve been famous since I can remember. Singing, acting, dancing—I’ve done it all. The tabloids cover my every move, but I don’t want that anymore. I want to be normal, whatever that is.
When I leave Hollywood for college in Vermont, I’m on my own for the first time in my life. This is my chance to figure out who I am and what I want in life.
But it’s a lot harder than I expected. I can’t escape my image. Classes are hard, and I’m struggling. And then there’s Caleb Fox.
Sexy, intriguing Caleb Fox.
Caleb is the one man who doesn’t want to use me. He breaks down my walls. He challenges me. He wants me. And I just don’t know if I can give him the same—or if he’ll stick around when he finds out my shameful secret that the tabloids haven’t managed to uncover.
Dating him is risky enough, but loving him could break me.

Review: Falling To Pieces by Amber Garza
Blurb:It was just a little white lie.
I never thought it would spiral out of control.
But I didn’t have a choice. Asher was close to learning the truth about me, and I couldn’t let that happen.
But now everyone hates me. Well, everyone except for Asher. He believes in me even after what I’ve done.
And when I’m with him I feel like I’m falling.
I just hope if I do, he’s there to catch me.
My review:
Falling To Pieces was my first Amber Garza read and it won't be my last. I've been in a contemporary NA kick and this book was right up my alley.
The story revolves around the relationship between Asher (swoon!) and Ivy. They were best friends through high school (though each secretly harbored feelings for one another),until one fateful night that changes everything for the both of them. I can't divulge what happened that night without spoiling the storyline, so I'll talk a bit about the characters.
I fell in love with Asher right away. He's the kind of guy most girls dream about. Super hot and popular, but with a sensitive soul and a good heart. Asher wasn't your typical self-centered hot guy. He went out of his way for others—especially Ivy. I love how he didn't listen to other peoples opinions about Ivy, or their relationship. He stayed true to his feelings and listened to his heart. Great character.
I felt a tad irritated with Ivy for a good portion of the book. Mostly because she stubbornly refused to open up to Asher (the one person who was truly there for her). Her situation was horrible, so despite my irritation with her, I understood her actions. People do what they have to do to survive, and don't always make the best decisions in tough times.
If you like Contemporary NA, then I think you'll really enjoy this book. The writing flowed well, and the characters were easy to like.

Review: Kiss Of Fire by Rebecca Ethington
Blurb taken from Goodreads:
Joclyn Despain has been marred by a brand on her skin. She doesn't know why the mark appeared on her neck, but she doesn't want anyone to see it, including her best friend Ryland, who knows everything else about her. The scar is the reason she hides herself behind baggy clothes, and won't let the idea of kissing Ryland enter her mind, no matter how much she wants to.
The scar is the reason she is being hunted.
If only she knew that she was.
If only she had known that the cursed stone her estranged father sent for her 16th birthday would trigger a change in her. Now, she is being stalked by a tall blonde man, and is miraculously throwing her high school bully ten feet in the air.
Joclyn attempts to find some answers and the courage to follow her heart. When Ryland finds her scar; only he knows what it means, and who will kill her because of it.
My review:
Wow!!! What an intense read! Couldn't put this one down.
Kiss Of Fire revolves around sixteen-year old outcast, Joclyn. As a young child, Joclyn suffered a traumatic incident that left her with an odd scar and without a father. Positive the new mark on her neck was the reason her father left, she does everything she can to keep it covered and appear "Invisible" to shield her from the loss of anyone leaving her again. Her only friend is Ryland, the heir to the vast Imdalind Forging empire, and son of her mother's boss.
I fell in love with Ryland instantly. I absolutely adored the fact he ignored his horrible father when he was told to stay away from Joclyn. He doted on her, watched over her, and protected her always, and it was clear to me, early on, that he and his "Jos" were more than just best friends. Their love leapt right off the page.
The writing was excellent, and the characters quite engaging. The first half of the book flowed very well, and the second was so action-packed I didn't want to put my kindle down because I had to know what happened next.
The secondary characters where every bit as engaging as the protagonists, and I felt equally invested in their outcomes.
The cliffhanger ending ensured I will be reading the next installment. I HAVE to know what happens to poor Ryland!!
If you're a fan of YA Fantasy, you'll enjoy this read.
