Laffer, Schiff, Cain All Wet
On the crazy 999 plan, points out Bob Wenzel.
What Is the Matter With You People?
Not only are you not immediately putting one of our natural overlords into power--Romney, Huntsman, or Perry, blessed be their names--but you dare to question the biggest central state in the history of the world. Like Jefferson, you do not understand that some men are made to wear saddles, and others are born with whips and spurs. Of course, Ron Paul is not mentioned, but at least Judge Napolitano's and Tom Woods's names are spelled right.

Iowa Caucus Poll
Herman and a Corporatist Scandal
Writes Bill Watkins:
"An article that appeared yesterday in the Kansas City Star describes Herman Cain's business relationships in KC, including being on the board of directors of Aquila, a former regional gas and electric utility.
"If Ron Paul's campaign asked anyone in KC about Aquila, they would hear about how the Green brothers (CEO and General Counsel), with the approval of the Board, paid themselves millions in bonuses, based on illusory financial results from a previous year, EVEN AFTER the stock price had already plunged by 90%. Aquila was the Enron of KC, involved in the buying and selling of energy derivatives, with disastrous results.
"The company was eventually broken up and sold in pieces, and the assets were generally regarded as junk by other regional utilities since Aquila management refused to spend any money to upkeep plant and facilities for decades. The company also built a new power plant just south of KC, inside the city limits of a small municipality, without getting the proper zoning, and courts have ruled against Aquila and the plant has been ordered removed.
"So much for Herman's business acumen."
Ron Paul, Austrian Economist
No other public official in the US, let alone any other presidential candidate, comes close to having Ron's broad and deep knowledge of Austrian and Keynesian economics, and economic history. See this brilliant op-ed on the damage done by the central bank. 999? That may be Ron Paul's IQ. (Thanks to Travis Holte)

Joe Weisenthal Attacks Ron Paul and Tom Woods
Bob Wenzel reports.
The Best Ron Paul T-Shirt Ever
Great news: the best-made, best-looking, best-priced "Ron Paul: Gold, Peace, Freedom" t-shirt is back in stock at the LRC Store in XL and XXL. Smaller sizes, too, of course.
UPDATE from Steve Black:
"The Ron Paul shirt is all good and fine, but that LRC Cap is top-notch. It is by far my favorite piece of headdress. It's well made, well fitting and I love the pre-curved visor. I wear mine all the time so that it's starting to get that worn-out look that makes hats look even better. Thanks for your informative site. Thanks for all that you do. Thanks for the hat!"
Gardasil Kills Kids
Remember when Bachmann was silenced on the Perry-Gardasil issue, after Ron first raised it? How dare she, cried the media in one voice, say that a vaccine could harm anyone? Good for Judicial Watch for discovering that even the Big Pharma-owned FDA records 26 new deaths from the Merck injections. There are undoubtedly thousands of bad and even disastrous, if non-fatal, results in other children. Perry, I am normally against jailing anyone, but I'd make an exception for you.
