CBS Cuts Off Ron Paul

Bob Schieffer promised Ron 20 minutes on Face the Nation, but cut him off after 10, because he was demolishing that establishment shill. Catch Schieffer's smirk. Also, there was a loud buzzing from Ron's earpiece during the entire interview. Deliberate? Who knows, but the flaw had been pointed out again and again 15 minutes before airtime.

And speaking of media bias, at the Christian right forum yesterday in Iowa, all the candidates were positioned so they looked directly into the camera. Ron, alone, was placed so only his profile showed.

The Knowledgeable Gentleman vs. the Venomous Viper

Writes Daniel McAdams: "Is it just me or is this Ron Paul's best interview to date, with a very hostile and cranky anti-Paulian?"

'This Is a Libertarian?'

Writes Justin Raimondo:

"Gary Johnson, the alleged "libertarian," files a complaint against CBS with the Federal Communicartions Commission, claiming his exclusion from the recent debate is illegal. From the complaint:

"'The public owns the airways over which CBS broadcasts, and the public deserves to be free from bias- favoring some candidates over others-as well as illegal support of certain presidential candidates on national network television. Unfair access to the airwaves of broadcast by network television is clearly an issue within the FCC's mandate. The illegal corporate contribution CBS is making in including some candidates and not others is addressed in a separate formal complaint to the Federal Elections Commission. The FCC should take appropriate action against CBS.'

"This is a 'libertarian'???"

Are You an NC Paulian?

Writes Matt Bianco:

"Can you get the word out for registered NC voters to vote in this online straw poll?

"They will need their voter registration number, but there is a link on the site where they can look that up. The poll closes at 9pm EST tonight!"
