Thoughts From the Debate

I despise the Republican party. I despise its murderous candidates. I despise its neocon thinktanks. I despise the gang of self-satisified overlords in an imperial hall. I despise DC.

Of course, Ron Paul--getting a little more time than usual (and plenty of split-screens to try to make him look bad)--was magnificent: on war, civil liberties, foreign policy, spending, foreign aid, "terrorism," the dictatorship. And as usual, he was the intellectual among the boobs, the man of peace among the bloodthirsty, the Austrian economist among the Keynesians, the realist among the hysterical, the honest man among the thieves, the champion of freedom among the fascists.

The Question for Tonight

Writes Brent Budowsky:

"This will be an interesting test about whether Ron Paul is getting the respect he deserves from major media. Will Ron Paul, whose stock is rising among voters and who has things to say about foreign policy, receive more time in the debate than the hapless and collapsing Rick Perry?"

Don't Miss Ron at the War Debate Tonight

It's 8:00pm EST on CNN, schemed by two prominent neocon DC thinktanks, AEI and Heritage. The knives will be out for the one man of peace, Ron Paul. But if they give him any time at all, he can take down the warmongers with ease. If they put duct tape on his mouth, it simply showcases their fear of the truth. Either way, Ron and the Paulians win.
