In fact, the GOP hates and fears the Paulians. They would rather see their fellow corporatist Obama elected than Ron's ideas advance. As to entering the sheepfold under the staff of the shepherd Mitt, who would want to? Besides, it's not a fold--as bad as that is in any non-religious context--it's a hive. If you cannot be a mindless bee, happy to join the swarm, they do not want you.
