She grew more adventurous and at age eight wrote two chapters of what was intended to be a full-length novel entitled, “The Skinner Family goes to Ireland.” The plot consisted of the Skinner family heading over to Ireland to visit their Aunt Donna who lived on a potato farm and owned a swimming pool. While the idea of the earthquake isn't enticing, I'd love to see the city as it was starting and rebuilding. I'd tour everywhere and look at old homes and businesses. What would I do? Try to get a job as an actress in an old theatre! (less)

Next up is Washington by Ron Chernow (author of Hamilton). After that is Jimmy Carter's autobio...and then Thomas Jefferson (Jon Meachum.) Not one of them is under 500 pages - and since by the end of the day I'm pooped and barely able to work on my own stuff....could take all summer :) !(less)

Changing Titles

I'm discovering the risks of changing titles to books previously published following the reversion of rights. Mainly - the reviews don't follow you :)

So I'm working with amazon to try to get the reviews of what WAS Ghost of a Chance shifted to the page of what is NOW Ghosts, Wandering, Here and There! Not that many reviews but they're good - always nice to see below a book. Also, since the rig... Read more of this blog post »
