Taken By Fire Cover Copy!
Yay! Stephanie and I have cover copy for our sixth Sydney Croft book! We just finished copyedits on the book, so it's fully engulfed in production now. It's real!
I really love this book…for me, it's right up there with Unleashing the Storm and Seduced by the Storm as my favorite. I just love how it came together and ends the series in a big finale.
Anyway, here's the copy!
HIS MISSION WAS TO TAKE HER OUT.
BUT DESIRE GOT IN THE WAY.
A product of genetic manipulation, Melanie Milan shares a body with her malevolent sister Phoebe. A sleek, blonde predator with a heart of pure darkness, Phoebe puts their body through the wicked underbelly of sex for thrills—when she's not igniting her pyrokinetic skills for an evil organization bent on taking over the world. Melanie rarely gets out to play—much less fall in love. But that changes when rival ARCO agent Stryker Wills shows up, with a mission to take out the woman who torched his partner.
An operative with rare abilities, Stryker soon realizes that the woman he's about to kill isn't the murderous fire starter he's hunting. But he does want her. Melanie, with the power to ice anything in her path, is heating things up in ways that are setting his blood on fire. As long as Melanie stays in control, she is his best ally to bring down her sister and stop hellish havoc from being unleashed. Walking a tightrope of longing and hate, Stryker and Melanie begin to understand that true power lies in sweet surrender to each other, to the fire between them, to the erotic adventure that's joined their hearts and abilities to become their salvation—and perhaps the world's.

Sooper Sekrit Project Revealed…
First, I have to say that my 13 year-old son is looking over my shoulder and is all disturbed because I "spelled super secret wrong, and how can you be a good author?" Yeah, well, I also make him open his own cans of ravioli, so how can I be a good mom?
*makes shooing motion at kid*
Okay, so. A while ago, my Demonica short story, Eternity Embraced, released in a couple of anthologies: The Mammoth Book of Vampire Romance 2 and Vampires in Love (a Barnes & Noble exclusive.)
Anyway, because of word limits, I wasn't able to really do as much with the story as I wanted to, so…I'm expanding it and adding content, and I'll be releasing it in Kindle and Nook formats at Amazon and Barnes & Noble! I'm hoping to release it in November.
For those who haven't read it, the story is about two Aegis Guardians, Andrea and Kaden (he was briefly in Sin Undone, but how he got there will be explained in the expanded version of his story.)
So that's the news. Hopefully it'll help break up the time between the releases of Sin Undone and Eternal Rider!
And…here's the cover. Isn't it gorgeous! And don't forget to check out the artist's Zazzle store — she has put some amazing Demonica products!
ETERNITY EMBRACED
Desire…
Demon slayer Andrea Cole has always taken down the demons and vampires she hunts without mercy. But when a fellow slayer is captured and turned into a vampire by a sadistic monster, she must choose between loyalty to her family and the man she loves.
Versus Instinct…
Kaden Quinn has dedicated his life to slaying vampires, so when he is turned into one, his greatest nightmare comes to life. And when the woman he loves is thrown into a dungeon with him — as food — he must battle new instincts and old desires, and choose between his life, and hers.

Fruit Flies
How's that for a fascinating blog topic?
No?
Heh. But you know how much you hate them. I know how much I hate them. This time of year is fruit fly season, and I'm always paranoid to buy fruit because of it.
Except that last night I discovered that they come in through open windows. In swarms.
So my house was full of fruit flies last night. Drove me nuts.
Fortunately, I have a secret weapon, and if you hate the little suckers as much as I do, you'll appreciate this easy little trick:
Red wine. Yep, drink it in large enough quantities, and you won't care if there are fruit flies!
Okay, not really. Well, it might help, but what you really do with the red wine is put a little in a small dish or cup. You want about it about 1/2 inch deep. I've heard that apple cider vinegar works too, but red wine has worked so well for me that I haven't tried anything else.
So anyway, put a little wine in a container, add a drop or two of dish soap, and then cover with plastic wrap. Poke a large hole or two in the middle of the plastic wrap. The flies will crawl in, drink the wine, and die. After my invasion last night, I got up this morning, and my trap had caught ALL of the suckers. My son counted — almost a hundred fruit flies.
Yay for red wine! Health benefits AND weapon!!!!!
Now, after that highly fascinating blog post *snickers* I'm off to write. Happy Wednesday, everyone!!!!

Good News and…Eternal Rider Cover!!!!
Hi everyone!
Okay, so…first the good news. Sin Undone has hit the USA Today bestseller list for the third week in a row! Seriously, she has kicked her brothers' butts! I think it's kinda funny.
Next, I get to show off my awesome cover for Eternal Rider! It'll be foiled like the Demonica covers, so I can't wait to see it in person. Also, see the 4 Horsemen symbol at the bottom? My husband designed that. When you see the bigger picture, you'll see that each horse is a little different...

Welcome Stella and Audra Price!
[image error] Hi everyone!
Today I'm introducing you to Stella and Audra Price — sisters who write together even though they are an ocean apart. I haven't met Audra, but I've spent time with Stella, and she's fabulous! She's been busy getting things together for the Authors After Dark event (which I would LOVE to attend, but I did manage to get a basket of goodies out for it,) so she hasn't had much time to promote her new release.
So here she is! Happy release day, Stella and Audra!!! (And don't...

Welcome KT Grant (With Contest!)
Hi everyone!
Normally, I do these interviews in my newsletter, but since my newest victim, K.T. Grant, has a book out that falls between them, I figured I'd subject her to my blog instead. I'm also going to give away a copy of her newest ebook, The Princess's Bride!
K.T., in case you aren't familiar, writes erotic romance and lesbian romance. I've read my share of m/m romance, but K.T.'s books are my first foray into the f/f subgenre. K.T. has been a huge supporter of my books, and I'm super h...
