May 6, 2015: Columbus/Marcon Early Report
I'm writing this from Columbus. For arcane scheduling reasons, I'm here already, even though Marcon doesn't start until Friday. (Marcon? What is Marcon? Please to be checking out my Appearances page. And if you're anywhere near Columbus, please to be coming to say hi and hello during the event. And if you are not in Columbus, THERE IS STILL TIME.)
At any rate: It was a full day of touristing. And touristing alone absolutely sucks, and I found myself in the middle of beauty (even with butterflies!) but seriously lonely and depressed. So my therapy is to upload some photos to Flickr and tell you what I saw. Wish you were here.

Warehouse 23 News: Not Your Average Kung-Fu Flick!
It's actually all of your favorite tropes in one game! The best part? Munchkin Fu lets you take on the powers of the selfless but fast-learning Monk or the monster-ready Yakuza among others. Don't fret – we haven't forgotten about the big city crushers! Giant monsters are wreaking havoc and, if they're from Hong Kong, they can wreck it altogether without the need for Wandering Monsters.
So, get in on the action and maybe power up with Munchkin Fu 2 - Monky Business ! Both available from Warehouse 23.

May 3, 2015: MIB Report: Munchkin-A-Thon
International TableTop Day was a huge success! My measurement for this was the amount of standing space I had at my local game store. However, here in Phoenix, AZ we did something special this year. We made history by hosting the first ever Munchkin -A-Thon, as fellow Munchkins fought to keep our game going for nine continuous hours of backstabbing and monster killing, making this one of my most memorable and successful International TableTop Days yet.
It's awesome events like these are really moving the gaming industry forward, and I had the pleasure of seeing a lot of new faces this year. So we should send a big to thanks out to all the game manufactures that help support these events, and Wil Wheaton and Geek and Sundry for encouraging people to "Play More Games"!
So how did we do nine hours of Munchkin? Find a list of successful tips here!

May 2, 2015: A Weekend In Witchita Falls
Last weekend, Lenny and I traveled to Witchita Falls, TX, to meet with Spencer Williams and his team of intrepid actors. For those of you who aren't aware, we've been relying on Spencer to make some of our videos on our YouTube Channel. He does really high-quality work, and he's great to work with. If you're interested in seeing his work, he put together the following videos for us:
Chez Geek How to Play
Munchkin Messenger Bag
Hipster Dice How to Play
Tile Chess Unboxing (editing)
Car Wars Classic Unboxing (editing)
It was a great visit. We ate at a great German restaurant with Spencer and all of the acting talent he's been using in our videos. They're a fantastic crew of people, and we hope to keep using them for the spectacular videos they make for us!

April 27, 2015: Munchkin Zombies Deluxe Shambles Into Your FLGS
You've seen it in Barnes & Noble stores, but in early May you'll be able to get it at your friendly local gaming store!
Munchkin Zombies Deluxe
What makes this edition "deluxe"? It's got a big gameboard to keep your cards in place, and six colored standies that you move on the gameboard as you level up! Plus a card to go with each standie, to make it easy to remember who is what color and whose sex has changed!
Kill the Living! Eat their Brains! Braaiiinns!
It's the sickest, silliest Munchkin yet! You are zombies, kicking down doors and eating brains. The "monsters" you're attacking are people, some helpless and some hazardous, with a few rogue zombies thrown in. The armor is whatever you've blundered across during your lurching search for brains. So bravely you'll go forth, with mousetraps on your feet and a bowling trophy protecting your poor rotting head . . . to level up, or to die.
Again.
