Are Muslims Going to Hell?

Are Muslims going to hell? Okay, so some of you may gulp at my asking that question so bluntly. But actually, that question was asked of me! I was being interviewed by a reporter with one of the secular news media about the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum attractions, and the first question the reporter asked was, Are Muslims going to hell?

That caught me a little off guard, but Im sure that was the reporters intention. Ive had quite a lot of experience dealing with the secular ...

Does Human Life Begin at Conception or Fertilization?

Does human life begin at conception or fertilization? At Answers in Genesis and the Creation Museum, we make sure we now say human life begins at fertilization. We dont use the word conception as we have done in the past when discussing the issue of abortion. Why?

Many people may not realize this, but the highly respected Stedmans Medical Dictionary caved to societal pressures and changed the definition of conception. Why did they change the definition? Before we discuss the why, lets l...

Did Beetles Feed on Dinosaur Feathers?

As weve said at Answers in Genesis over and over again, what you believe about the past becomes the lens through which you interpret the evidence in the present. Another great example of that was in the news recently under the headline Beetles fed on dinosaur feathers 105 million years ago.

In a chunk of amber (fossilized tree resin), researchers discovered bits of downy feathers and larval molts from beetles that are very similar to beetles that live today. Now, our beetles today often...

Is the Biblical Creation Ministry Divisive?

Over the years, Ive had many people, including Christian leaders, say negative things about the Answers in Genesis ministry, claiming what we do is divisive. They claim that as Christians, we shouldnt create division but rather unity. Is AiGs stand on a historical Genesis and biblical authority causing division in the church?

Now, this may sound confusing and contradictory, but I say we need to create both division and unity. I believe this is what Gods Word clearly teaches.

Do ...

Who Made God?

I have many secularists mock me as a Christian for believing in an eternal God. Theyve grinned and asked me the question, So .  . . who made God? They then claim it doesnt make sense to believe in an eternal God. So, who did make God?

The Bible makes it clear that God exists in eternity.

The Bible makes it clear that God exists in eternity. He has always existed. He didnt have a beginning. There are many verses of Scripture that attest to the fact that God is everlastinghe is et...

President Biden: There Is No Such Thing as Someone Elses Child

President Joe Biden is wrong, anti-biblical, and escalating the war on children and the war on the familywhich is ultimately a war on God. Now, thats a strong way to start this blogbut its absolutely true. Consider a recent statement he made while honoring the 2023 national and state teachers of the year.

Quoting a former teacher, he stated,

There is no such thing as someone elses child. No such thing as someone elses child. Our nations children are all our children.

Lets j...

Two Very Problematic Andy Stanley Sermons

Andy Stanley is a teaching pastor with a large flock in the Atlanta area of Georgia. Recently, I was alerted to two clips from sermons he recently preachedand these clips greatly concerned me. Not only do they contain error, but they show a complete lack of respect for the Word of God as what it isthe very Word of Godand as the ultimate authority.

How should we respond to what he is teaching in this clip? Now, before watching this clip, please understand I and others on our staff have w...

Is Ken Ham a Calvinist or Arminian?

Am I a Calvinist or an Arminian? I knew that would get your attention! Because I do emphasize the sovereignty of God and the presuppositions that build my thinking, Ive had some people say I must be a Calvinist. Then Ive had others say I must not be a Calvinist because I challenge people to commit their lives to the Lord. Some have told me I confuse them, and they cant figure out if Im a Calvinist or an Arminian. So, what am I?

Well, first, what do these terms mean? Well, people defi...

Lazarus and the Role of Apologetics in Evangelism

What is the role of apologetics in evangelism? Ive had some Christians over the years claim that people who use apologetics are trying to prove that the Bible is true. They insist that all we need to do is preach the gospel. Is this true? Is apologetics a waste of time or a distraction from sharing the gospel?

Well, first, what is apologetics? Consider this verse.

But in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for th...

Google Co-founder Wants to Build AI as a Digital God

According to tech mogul Elon Musk, for some, such as Google co-founder Larry Page, the ultimate goal of the race to build artificial intelligence is to create a digital god, a silicon-based lifeform that would understand everything in the world. . . . and give you back the exact right thing instantly. Who would have even thought about discussions concerning a digital god just a few years ago? Will this dream become a reality?

Since the events of Genesis chapter 3, humans have b...
