A service to help marijuana patients learn about their medicine, CannaBuild announced $225,000 in seed funding (no pun intended) Thursday.

Earlier this month, New York Times columnist Maureen Dowd wrote about the trip of a lifetime when she ate a bit too much edible marijuana on her tour of Colorado. Though it would've made for a less entertaining article, proper dosing could have prevented her freak-out.

Powermat Teams With Starbucks To Roll Out Wireless Chargers Nationwide

Pretty soon, anyone with a Powermat compatible case will be able to charge their phone at Starbucks nationwide.

Here's something to keep in mind the next time you're ordering a venti frappuccino: Starting this year, Starbucks will be building Powermat wireless chargers into its tables and counters, meaning anyone with a compatible wireless charging case or ring (pictured below) can charge their Samsung or iPhone without having to lug around the power cord. All you have to do is put your phone down next to it.

After Restoring Its Service, Feedly Is Hit With Second DDoS Attack

Feedly said no user data was compromised by either attack.

RSS reader Feedly spent most of Wednesday on the defense, restoring its service after being hit with a distributed-denial-of-service attack. The victory was short-lived. Hackers launched a second attack late Wednesday or early Thursday, which the company is working to neutralize.

A DDoS attack took down the RSS reader most of Wednesday morning. The service is still not back up.
