Seven Pillars of Wisdom

Lady Wisdom's Seven Pillars of Wisdom

from King Solomon's Proverbs

King Solomon wrote in Proverbs about
seven pillars of wisdom. “Wisdom has built her house; she has hewn out her
seven pillars” (Proverbs 9:1). None of these seven pillars are identified
immediately in the passage. Many people find a list of seven things elsewhere
in the Bible and claim that list describes these seven pillars. However, their
approach is unlikely, because there is no direct connection to wisdom.
Elsewhere in the book of Proverbs, Solomon identifies seven things that bring
forth wisdom. This post identifies these seven contributors to wisdom from
Solomon as the seven pillars of wisdom.

The Treasure Within

Even an oyster can have a pearl inside.

Believers
have a treasure chest inside. The good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth what is good (Luke 6:45a). When
Jesus made this statement, he was referring to something of value deposited
inside a person. This post examines the treasure by identifying its components
and showing how to activate and release the treasure.

The Glory of the Lord’s Prayer

Prayer Releases Spiritual Power

Strategic
prayer releases the spirit man. When Jesus prayed, he was already communing
spirit to spirit. When the disciples asked to be taught how to pray in Luke
11:1, they were not at the same point in life as Jesus. Jesus gave the
disciples the Lord’s Prayer as a precursor to the outpouring of the Holy
Spirit. This post examines the importance of the Lord’s Prayer.

How to Walk in the Kingdom of God

Walk as Royalty in the Kingdom

The
kingdom of God is not visible and not of this world. In its most basic form the
kingdom has a king, citizens, and sustenance. Its citizens are expected to walk
in this invisible and out-of-this-world kingdom. How can a person effectively
walk in such a kingdom? This post answers this question by describing kingdom fundamentals
and showing how to walk in the kingdom.

Power of Vision

Fred training for first race at age 67

A vision empowers people to do what
they could not do otherwise. It motivates and strengthens them within. I have never
run a race before, but now at the age of 67 I am envisioning myself running a
race. For the past few weeks, I have been training diligently for my first
race. The vision kept me going beyond my comfort zone. This blog post explores
the incredible power of vision.

The Religious System [meme]

what others think about religion/what God thinks about it

The
Religious System: Religion drives a wedge between God and man. Then it tries to
fill this gap that it created by hearing from God for man. In such a system
there is no reason for man to seek God himself. Jesus was frequently persecuted
by religious people. He called them hypocrites and snakes (Mathew
23:23, 33).  Enjoy the truth in the humor of the photo meme.

Our Mission Trips [meme]

what others think we do/what we think we do

See the difference between what others think we do and what we think we do. There are several misconceptions on the nature of mission trips. Hopefully, this photo will clear up these misconceptions. It takes a lot of money, effort and energy to make a mission trip. However, it is all worth it, because many people are saved, healed and delivered. We have several mission trips planned for the future. Your prayers and support for these trips are greatly appreciated. We hope you enjoy the humor in the meme photo created for you, our readers.

Smart Money Envisions a Bright Future

Tools for Navigation at Sea

Smart money has a vision about the
future that is radically different from the present situation. It’s easy to
envision a future that is similar to the present situation, but the Spirit of
God paints a picture of the future that is different from anything the carnal
mind can conceive. Let the Spirit paint a bright future for you. This post
examines smart money’s vision for the future, explaining how it is created and
maintained.
