Recent reviews.
I've been so slack posting about these but my life is crazy right now and what spare time I have I'm devoting to writing. I did manage to send out my first newsletter yesterday and after a few hiccups I think I did alright. Me and technology don't mesh that well and things got a bit rocky there for a moment but all is well (I think) and I should get the next one out early December, just in time for Christmas. *gasp* Is it that time of year already? Anyone not already signed up who'd like to be can fill out the form in the top right corner of this page or the one on the welcome page of my site.
Anyway, back to the reviews.
Coyote Wild got a 'You need to read' rating from Mickey over at You Gotta Read Reviews. You can read the whole review HERE! I really liked this bit:-
"Ms. Cahill knows how to write fantastic love scenes, with true emotion and charm."
Coyote Run received a great review from Kathy K. over at Ebook Addict. Kathy had some great things to say about this little prequel and you can read the full review HERE! And 'cause I like to share…
"But with each story I find myself more under the spell of author Rhian Cahill…and I'm looking forward to spending many more hours with her books in the future."
Now last week was the release of my first contemporary novella with Ellora's Cave and I was a little nervous and excited (anyone on twitter would have seen that. *grin*), it's always a little nerve racking switching genres with an existing audience. Living down in Oz means I have to wait the whole day and all night for any new release to go live so by the time Doing Logan went up at midnight I was falling asleep in my chair. I was thrilled to discover that while I'd been sleeping people had been reading! Yep, woke up to my first review of Doing Logan and it was brilliant! Kept a smile on my face all day and all of this week actually. Thank you to Maldivian Book Reviewer! You can find the full review HERE! But I have to share this bit over here 'cause well, I loved it!
"Be severely warned of the following before proceeding with the story though *wink wink*:
1- The need to drink lots of water as things certainly heat up to unbearable (but oh-so bearable) levels.
2- The continuous need to fan yourself with whatever you have at hand. Yes, I solemnly swear by this!
3- And yes, the need for a cold shower as soon as you are done! Yes, Doing Logan kinda wreaks havoc on your senses – ALL in a good way!!
I don't think my heart would return to its normal rhythm anytime soon! Damn you Logan!! Sigh!!"
Isn't that great?!
I want to give a big shout out to all reviewers. I thank you all for taking the time to not only read my work but to write about it. As an ex reviewer I know how much effort is involved and I'm truly grateful for all that you do.

Doing Logan out today.
Woot! It's release day!
Logan has been in love with Meredith for as long as he can remember. Seeing her with another had been its own brand of torture, but now that she's free, nothing can stop him from claiming what is rightfully his.
The magnetism of Logan has never been lost on Meredith, but crossing the line between friend and lover scares her, even after dumping her slimeball ex. When Logan kisses her, an attraction like she's never known ignites, sweeping her into an affair she can't walk away from.
As Logan fights to win her heart, Meredith wages a battle of her own. Is she willing to admit her interest stretches way beyond merely doing Logan?
Read more for a super hot excerpt.
Excerpt:-
She'd nicknamed her ex Dirk-the-dickless because he'd lacked any real skill but compared to Logan he was dickless. As she stared transfixed by the cock in front of her Meredith wondered how the hell it would fit.
"Don't worry, Meredith, it'll fit just fine."
Her gaze darted to his. The smile on his face told her she'd spoken the words out loud. There wasn't time to feel embarrassed as Logan scooted back on the bed until he sat between her legs, his large hands pushing her skirt up around her hips. Strong fingers found their way into the sides of her panties and pulled. The lacy underwear slid as far as her spread thighs would allow. A frustrated groan fell from Logan's lips.
"Are you fond of these?"
She shook her head.
He didn't comment, just got a better grip on the flimsy material and tore them off. Lace flew through the air as he tossed them over his shoulder.
"Jeez, Meredith."
His strangled words drew her gaze back to his face. He stared at her pussy with such lust that her womb clenched, cream slid from her folds and ran down between her ass cheeks to the bed beneath.
"I love a woman who isn't afraid to be one." Logan reached out and ran his fingers through her trimmed pubic hair and she was thankful she'd taken the time to prepare earlier. "The bare little-girl look does nothing for me but a well-groomed woman makes me hotter than hell. Meredith, I think this is the sexiest cunt I've ever laid eyes on."
His use of the crude word did more to Meredith's senses than anything she'd ever heard before. His fingers continued to comb her neatly trimmed hair but he avoided where she wanted him most. She jerked, her hips bucking in an attempt to move his hand lower.
Logan put his other hand on her stomach and pushed her back to the bed. "No. Stay still. I may want to fuck you more than my next breath but I want to savor every second of our first time together."
Meredith's back arched as desire shot along her veins. Her stomach tightened and the simmering pool of arousal boiled sending more juice flowing from her center.
"Oh, you like that?" She felt his fingers part her folds. "You like it when I talk dirty?"
He circled her opening with his fingertips before pushing one inside. Her muscles encircled the invading digit, convulsing as she tilted her pelvis and tried to take him deeper.
"You're so wet for me."
He thrust his finger all the way in and spasms rippled along its length.
"So hot."
Logan added a second finger to the first.
"So tight."
Meredith moaned and her head thrashed on the pillow. Sensation splintered and burst out, making her back bow.
"Jesus, Meredith, I can't wait to have my cock buried in this tight cunt."
Meredith shattered.
A scream tore from her throat. The hoarse cry followed by a plea for sanity.
"Logan."

Swallowing razor blades.
No it's not a circus trick I've picked up after running away, although now that I think about it……*grin* Nope, for the last few days every time I swallow (and yes that includes my own spit) it's like a mouthful of razor blades going down my throat. Ugh! This on top of losing a whole day on Monday due to a migraine that took out my sight in one eye. Let me tell you, I was beginning to wonder if the end was near. lol But other than the sudden fear of swallowing I'm now doing great. In fact I've found myself at another end. The End. Yep, the quickie novella that's turned into a long novella/short novel has finally, FINALLY reaching The End. Oh, and it's finally, FINALLY got a title. Damn thing has been title-less for nearly 12 months. Yes, that's when I started this story but things kinda got in the way. Like moving thousands of kilometers!
So today is the dreaded sucknopsis day and one last glance over the More Of You before I send it off to a lovely lady that has expressed interest in Ryan and Claire. I'm excited because it means I can get back to Miki, Dayne and Grant. *rubs hands together* Oh, yes, very excited. This is the first book in a series I'm doing with the lushish Lexxie Couper. But aside from all that today is exciting because….
IT'S RELEASE DAY FOR DOING LOGAN!
Well it is here. Of course the US is hours behind us so I have to wait. *sigh* But that's okay, I've got some other things to keep me busy.
In other news I'm putting together my very first newsletter! So I'm making a list and checking it twice, oh wait, no that's a different list. *grin* I'm attempting to get a sign-up form on the website but as I'm a little techno-challenged this could take a while. lol But here's hoping I can sort it out. If not feel free to leave a comment on this post and I'll add you to my subscriber list.
Soooo…….

There should be two of me.
I've decided there is no other way to do everything than for there to be two of me. This time of year is always busy for us because we've got three of our four+one with birthdays in November and it's the lead up to the silly season. But this year things are even busier. Hubby is away every second week, we're organizing a 21st & 18th party and the bi-annual family reunion is this weekend. Hubby (who I'm thinking needs a new name….) just flew in first thing this morning (6am first thing!), is exhausted and at this very moment arguing with The Kid and Princess & the pea. Princess One and Son#1 are still at work but Lady-in-waiting is hiding in the bedroom (pretending to do uni work) and I don't blame her, the yelling of the Tribe Cahill can be a little scary even for tribe members. *grin*I've spent the afternoon in the kitchen *shudder* making pasta and potato salad for this weekend's get together. I'm not the best of cooks and the fact that I hate doing it doesn't help but I make a brilliant potato salad that has been requested so……..*sigh* I'm in the kitchen. Actually I'll be in there for a few more hours yet. I hate to say this but….is it Monday yet? lol

Tribe Cahill
I was going through some pix and I was shocked to realize the above shot was taken two years ago! Good thing we'll have the camera on hand this weekend to take a more up-to-date pic.
So I haven't been around much and it's not looking like that will change in the near future. What with broken bones (thanks Kid), doctor visits, absent Hubby and party prep PLUS NaNo (yes, I've signed up to write 50k in 30 days) next month I'm thinking I really do need to look into that other me. Anyone got any tips for how to juggle all my balls? Then again maybe I should just pack a bag and runaway. *grin*

Blogging over at Passionate Reads
I'm over at Passionate Reads blogging about our trip to Sexpo. Come on over and see what a fun time we had.
Oh, and don't forget to head on over to the Down Under Divas blog for Tuesday's Teaser. *grin*

Stop the bus!
I wanna get off!
Dear god do I wanna get off. *sigh* So life sux. No really, it does. Yeah , it could be worse, hell it could always be worse but that doesn't mean it doesn't suck completely right now. I'm biting my nails waiting for Friday and not because that means the weekend is a breath away. Oh no, we're biting our nails because Friday is the day we find out if The Kid needs to have surgery and a plate fitted to hold his clavicle together. For those not up with medico speak that's his collarbone. As usual I wasn't with him when it happened but lucky for him I wasn't far away. Saturday afternoon was spent in the uncomfortable chairs in our local hospital waiting room (thank god for my ereader!). Lots of waiting going on round here. So after xrays and doctor consults we're left with two nice cracks in his right clavicle. But unlike the last two collarbone breaks (yes, he's done it before, once on each side) this break is a little more severe. Imagine the letter V with the bottom cut off and that's what his bone looks like. Over the next week we'll know if it's going to just sit there nicely and heal or if it will need a plate attached to hold the three sections together. So if you all don't mind I'll ask you to cross your fingers that surgery isn't going to be necessary.
I'm a firm believer in balance and after the wonderful week I had last week I was due for a little un-wonderful (thank you Kid). I spent last Thursday hanging with Lexxie Couper and then Friday Lexxie and I joined fellow authors Jess Dee and Maggie Nash at Sexpo for a little research mission. *grin* I'll blog about those tomorrow but right now I think I need to go lie down. And if anyone wants to ring the men in the white coats so they can come and get me I'm fine with that. Being locked away in a padded cell has some appeal right now.

Which way is up?
Jeez, why is it I don't ever seem to be able to catch my breath? It's taken me forever to get over our little holiday and get back into the swing of things and I've still got things to do in this wonderful game of catch-up I'm playing. It hasn't helped that Hubby is away, again. Most of the Tribe is sick and by sick I mean coughing up their lungs all over my not-so-clean house. The weather has been crap so nothing is getting dry, I seem to make my way through a mountain of washing (whether it be dirty or clean) only to find another mountain has sprung up somewhere else. *sigh* It doesn't feel like I've had a holiday at all. And after all the "real" life stuff I've got to wade my way through the "fake" life stuff. Which leads me to why I'm finally here blogging!
I got a cool review for Coyote Run from the lovely Holly at Whipped Cream Reviews. I'm thrilled Holly liked Coyote Run. You can read the full review HERE!
In other writerly news, I've got an interview up at The Romance Studio this month. You can check it out HERE!
So what else do we need to catch up on…….oh yes, Ryan is done! Well actually he's not but he is. *grin* Draft 1 is complete but I'm tweaking the ending before I send him off into the big blue yonder. I'm not happy with the black moment. It's not really black enough for me. lol
I've got some more exciting news to share but I'll do that tomorrow. Anywho….it's back to it.

Monday Madness
Hubby started a funny hat tradition for New Years Eve. Here he is looking for a willing participant in his madness.

He didn't need to look far. The Kid wouldn't play but his best mate would.

Just to prove the hat stays on no matter how much he's had to drink or how many cigars he's smoked….oh, hey. Is that a fellow hat-wearer in the background? lol
