Six Sentence Sunday – One Night In Bangkok Pt2 – #sixsunday
Welcome Sixers! Another week another six.
The aroma from the covered plates tickled her nose and made her mouth water, assaulting her already overloaded senses.
A hint of herbs and spices and something sweet—the heady mix of tropical flowers—combined with the intoxicating, all-male scent of the man standing behind her, and did more to her system than an electric shock. Her skin was a living, breathing thing, stretched tight across bone and muscle gone soft with desire.
Fingers skimmed across the sensitive slope of her neck and goose bumps broke out in their wake. Tingles traveled the length of her neck, radiated down and spread over the rest of her body. Her nipples tightened, the hard nubs pushed against the fabric of her dress.

Snippet Saturday – Cold Place
Well we're gone from hot to cold and let me tell you the Sydney weather was listening. *shivers* Anywoo, today's snippet is from Coyote Whispers, the scene is where an unexpected guest shows up. Enjoy.
Coyote Hunger series Bk3
"Doc" Gordie has tried to keep Steve McKenna at arm's length, but the sexy coyote shifter is under her skin, in her blood and in her heart. No matter how much she fears what he makes her feel, she can't bear to stay away. After he rescues her from a vicious attack, Gordie is helpless to deny the sizzling attraction burning between them.
There hasn't been a day Steve has not wanted Doc in his bed, but bruised and bloody is not what he had in mind. The need for revenge is riding his coyote—almost as much as his aching desire to finally claim Doc as his own. But that will have to wait. He must first convince Doc the safest place for her is by his side. When a second attack draws them together, suppressed needs explode, leaving no doubt where they both belong. But danger is never far behind and Gordie is forced to make a fatal decision that could destroy all they've worked so hard to discover.
~~~~~
Steve pointed down the driveway. "What is that?"
Dale leaned forward. "You got floodlights?"
"Yeah, let me get the switch." Steve strode to the other side of his truck and flicked a couple of levers. Light illuminated the entire front yard.
"Shit!" Dale took off running.
"What the fuck?" Steve dropped Doc's purse and raced after the sheriff.
The new layer of snow on the ground proved difficult to traverse and they slipped and slid their way to the end of the drive. They skidded to a halt as a woman wobbled and lost her footing in the slippery conditions, crumpling beside Dale's car. At least Steve thought it was a female bundled up under all that snow gear.
He crouched down and gripped her shoulder. "Hey, are you all right?"
"C-c-cold." Her voice was muffled by the beanie pulled down low on her forehead and the scarf wrapped around to cover what was left of her face, but neither could hide the chattering of her teeth.
Steve pushed the cold, wet material aside. "Recognize her?" he asked Dale.
His friend sucked in a breath as he squatted beside him. "Tatum. It's Tatum Brant. William's granddaughter. But she hasn't been back in the mountain for years."
"Let's get her inside out of the weather." Steve slid his arm around her as best he could with the bulky jacket she wore. He lifted and Dale steadied them as they got to their feet.
One on either side of her, they headed back to the house. She trembled against him and Steve could feel the damp and cold seeping from her clothes to his. It was awkward, she seemed to be wearing a wardrobe full of clothes beneath her thick coat. They reached the garage and crossed to the connecting door where Brogan and Quinn met them.
"Who the hell is that?" Quinn asked.
"Tatum Brant," Dale answered.
"Where'd she come from?" Brogan asked.
"Bottom of the driveway, she was trying to make it to the house," Steve said. "Can you go shut the garage door and turn off all the lights, Quinn?"
"Sure."
"Oh, and Doc's bag is on the ground near the light switches."
"Got it."
Her trembling had turned into bone-rattling shakes by the time Steve guided them into the living room where he and Dale lowered Tatum to the couch. He began removing her wet outerwear and quickly discovered the reason for her bulky mass. The women came in from the kitchen and immediately rushed over.
"Jesus. Is that…" Kat asked.
"Tatum Brant," Steve said.
"Is she…?" Doc's sister seemed to be having problems forming complete sentences.
"Pregnant?" Steve finished for her.
"I haven't seen her in years. How'd she get here?"
"No idea and right now my priority is getting her warm," Steve said.
Tatum tried to curl up but her protruding belly hampered her efforts. Dale sat next to her and pulled her against his side. He wrapped his arms around her as best he could and ran his hands up and down her arms. "You got a blanket, Steve?"
"Yeah, let me grab one. I'll turn the heat up too."
Valentines Day Blog Hop
Valentines Day has never been a holiday Mr.C and I celebrate because we kinda think it's silly to use that one day of the year to celebrate our love when we do it every single day we're together. Over the years we've bought the occasional little trinket but never with any regularity and as I'm taking part in the Valentines Day Blog Hop I started to wonder why that was. I can't pin it down to any one thing except when we were first together money was tight. Okay, it was non-existent. And once we had a little to spare we still didn't jump on the Valentines Day bus. It really is rather strange when I think about it but it's the way we are and we're still madly in love (on good days
) as we were when we first started out. Considering we've made 24 years I think we must be doing something right.
The hop runs from Feb 11 to 14 (US time). There's over 100 other authors taking part in the hop so head on over to see what they're offering HERE!
As for me, I'm giving a randomly chosen comment to receive winners choice of two ebooks from my backlist or a $10GC from the bookstore of choice. So what do you have to do? Leave your answer to the below question in the comments section of this post.
What's the cheapest, most memorable and romantic Valentines Day gift you've ever received or given?
Six Sentence Sunday – One Night In Bangkok Pt1- #sixsunday
It's another week of six! Over the next few weeks I'm going to showcase each of my books. This week we're going right back to the begin. One Night In Bangkok isn't the first book I wrote but it's the first one I had published.
Tall, dark and handsome didn't begin to describe this man. His dark, slightly tipped eyes gave away his mixed heritage. He'd told her earlier his mother was Thai and his father American. The combination of the two produced a breathtaking specimen of height, lean muscle, smooth caramelcolored skin and eyes that reminded her of rich espresso coffee.
When Beth brought her gaze to his face she found him watching her. The corner of his mouth curled up and those mesmerizing eyes sparked with interest.
Snippet Saturday – Warm Places
This weeks theme is warm places and there isn't any place warmer than Bondi Beach in summer.
What's a girl to do with two sexy Aussie surfers? Ride the waves, of course…
After weeks of lusting over a couple of hot surfers, Piper Doyle has the opportunity to turn fantasy into reality. There's just one problem—they're her new clients. When the men offer a no-strings-attached affair, Piper has a decision to make, one her body made for her weeks ago when she first started watching "her boys." She can't risk the job that could make or break her career, but she sure as hell isn't going to pass up this chance to live out her wildest dreams…
Sam Bridges and Nate Russo share everything, from their home to their business to the occasional woman. Even themselves. But they've never shared what they feel for Piper. What starts out as hot sex with a willing woman turns into something none of them expected—but what's wrong with a few strings on a hot summer day at the beach…
Warnings: This book contains graphic sexual content that some readers may find objectionable (including ménage a trios with male/male sex, anal sex)
Snippet:-
Piper pushed through the glass door and sucked in a blast of hot air like walking into the bowels of hell, but she wasn't going back inside the air-conditioned interior of the café for anything. Not until she'd had her daily dose of what she'd affectionately dubbed her Bondi Beach Boys. She smiled at the nickname she'd given them. Having lived in Sydney for only ten months, she hadn't fully understood the appeal of sitting by Bondi Beach on a stinking hot day, but summer was rapidly becoming her favorite time of year.
A waitress delivered her fresh-squeezed juice, and Pip thanked the girl without taking her eyes off the view. Picking up the ice-cold glass, she brought it to her lips. The heady mix of sweet aromas filled her nose, and the freshly blended flavors of mango and banana exploded on her tongue. Still, her eyes remained glued to the sight in front of her. A shiver skipped down her spine, and it had nothing to do with the chunk of ice she sucked on.
Bodies of all shapes and sizes, in all manner of dress, littered the hot sand. Kids with buckets and spades built sandcastles by the water's edge. Teenagers in long, baggy shorts played a game of volleyball, kicking up arcs of golden spray. Women in skimpy bikinis lay on towels, glistening under the scorching sun. But Pip came for the men.
There were all kinds. Young, old, skinny and fat, some in Speedos with bronzed bodies worth drooling over; they were all there. Though none of those were the attraction for her. Two men in particular drew her gaze day after day, week after week. With her sunglasses shielding her eyes, she turned a little to the right and looked her fill.
Bronze hair and skin sparkled under the hot sun. Long, tanned limbs rippled with muscle as the sun god they were attached to reached up and removed the surfboard from the roof rack of the sporty, black sedan. She licked her lips. Tingling with the urge to run her tongue over every inch of the bare torso, Piper's mouth had gone bone dry, the ice cube long since melted away. Her gaze skipped further to the right to find the second most glorious sight in the world.
His sleek muscles were dusted with dark hair, and the smooth skin holding it all together had to be what people referred to as a Mediterranean complexion. No less appealing than the golden specimen on the other side of the vehicle, he made her heart race and her palms sweat. Together they were a sexy temptation a nun would be hard pressed to refuse. Piper sighed and took another sip of her drink.
She watched them as they got ready, prepping their boards, throwing towels around their shoulders, and locking up the car. The blond picked up a backpack and turned toward the waves. For long moments, Piper admired the shift of muscles along backbones made for licking. Her temperature, already hot from the sweltering summer weather, went up a couple of degrees. Arousal swirled low in her abdomen, the once gentle stir now a churning whirlpool, and her chest rose and fell with her harsh breaths.
Today was no different from any of the others in the past few weeks. Her Bondi Beach Boys surveyed the waves as they rolled onto the sand of Sydney's most famous beach. She studied them—her boys, not the waves. Their wind-tossed hair: one dark blond with golden streaks, the other black as night. Their smooth backs and narrow hips, miles of leg beneath brightly colored shorts. But the gorgeous arses hidden under the quick-dry material drew Piper's eyes the most.
She'd always been a butt girl. Something about a tight pair of cheeks just did it for her. Pip wasn't worried what covered a guy's rear end, but she had to admit to being partial to jeans before this summer. Now though… Now she was a converted woman. Absolutely nothing compared to a set of firm buns wrapped in wet board shorts. No siree, nothing better. What a shame she wouldn't be here to see them all wet and shiny when they came back to the car.
Her normal routine had to be rearranged for a meeting with potential new clients, and there was no way she was going to risk blowing this contract. She really didn't need to go back over the designs—she'd been up til three a.m. making sure they were perfect—but she couldn't help wanting to give it one more look with fresh eyes before the meeting. This job could be the big break that allowed her to quit her part-time cleaning gig and purchase that new software and hard drive she had her eye on. Tipping up her glass, she drank the last of her juice as her boys made their way down onto the sand.
Piper grabbed her bag and stood. Having paid for her drink when she ordered, she made her way between the tables to the sidewalk. The blond dropped the backpack and his towel, and jogged to the water's edge. His friend followed at a more leisurely pace. She paused, watching them as they dropped their boards to the water and lowered their buff bodies to the fiberglass lengths. They paddled out, ducking under the waves and giving her one final glimpse of taut butt muscles before she forced herself to leave. With a sigh, Pip turned and headed home.
Six Sentence Sunday – All Of You – #sixsunday
It's Sunday again. Time for another six!
She had to lean over to see him as he loaded his clothes into the washer. Thank god for front loaders. Getting to see that gorgeous butt beneath those stretched tight shorts was heavenly. Claire's imagination ran wild; she could see her hands smoothing all over those tight cheeks and diving between them to cup his balls. The warmth in her belly grew hotter, and she almost toppled off the stool when he turned in her direction.
Snippet Saturday – Something Odd
I had to think long and hard to find something to fit in this weeks theme. The hint was a quirky scene or character so I've gone with the 'game' scene in Truth or Dare. All the characters are a little quirky, especially seeing how they're a little drunk.
Daring to tell the truth will change the rules of this game forever.
Party Games, Book 2
When her friend deserts her at an exclusive Sydney house party, Miki Drummond retreats to a corner to observe the insanity. Watching life go by is something she does well, especially after the hell her marriage put her through.
She never dreamed she'd reconnect with not one but two blasts from her high school past. And she never expected their heated gazes to bring her body so easily back to life.
Grant Rogers and Dayne Pierce never forgot Miki. Ever. Past experience tells them to tread slowly and carefully, but that plan flies out the window when they're all dragged into a game of Truth or Dare. Something's up, because Miki repeatedly chooses to take a shot rather than reveal her obvious pain. Time after time.
Waking up hungover in a strange bedroom, Miki is caught in an electrically charged moment with two men who offer her unimaginable pleasure, who seem determined to keep her suspended in sweet torment—permanently.
One night of pure fantasy is all Miki dares to take, but come morning the hard truth is that walking away isn't an option.
Product Warnings: The author cannot be held responsible for any truth you may tell or dare you make take after reading this story. And if you find yourself sandwiched between two hunky men…take the dare.
~~~~~
She finally settled on a game of Truth or Dare. With typical Frankie finesse, she pushed the three of them onto a couch, Miki squished between him and Dayne. Two others joined the game, a guy Grant recognised but couldn't remember a name for and a woman who was already three sheets to the wind if the smell of alcohol emanating from her was any indication. Before he blinked, Frankie placed shot glasses in front of each of them and plonked a bottle of tequila on the low table in the middle of their small group. He glanced around the room to see similar groups engaged in the game already.
"I'll ask first," the other guy said as he turned to the blonde woman beside him. "Truth or Dare?"
"Dare." Her eyes were glazed and she swayed in her seat.
"I dare you to suck my cock."
"Eeww…" The blonde gagged and put a hand over her mouth.
"Jesus, Mike." Frankie poured tequila into the woman's glass before the blonde even tapped it.
With a skill that surprised him, the woman leaned forward, wrapped her lips around the top of the small cup and flipped her head back. In one swallow, she downed the alcohol and dropped the glass back on the table. She closed her eyes and shuddered before turning to Frankie. "Truth or da—" She hiccupped.
Frankie rolled her eyes. "Truth."
The blonde squinted in Frankie's direction, cocked her head to the side. "Are those four boobs real?"
Laughter burst from the group as one. Obviously she was seeing double.
"Yep." Frankie cupped a breast in each hand. "These babies are all mine."
The blonde's eyes spun around before rolling back in her head. She toppled off the seat to the floor and stayed there. Mike leaned down to fondle her chest and Frankie slapped his hands away.
"Just checking for a pulse," he said as he snatched his arms back out of Frankie's reach.
"Sure you were." She turned to face Grant. "Truth or dare?"
He thought about it for all of a second before going the safest route. "Truth."
"What's you most secret sexual fantasy?"
Jeez, she wasn't pulling any punches. He kept his gaze on Frankie. If he looked at Miki and Dayne like he wanted to there wouldn't be any point in taking the shot or opening his mouth and spilling the beans. He tapped the glass.
Frankie grinned and poured the tequila. "Chicken."
Grant ignored the taunt and took the shot. He turned to Miki. "Truth or dare?"
"Truth."
Keeping with the sex angle, he asked the question every guy wants to know. "Have you ever made out with a girl?"
Miki's gaze darted to Frankie but her head didn't move so no one knew she'd revealed the answer except him and her best friend. His mind exploded with images best not thought of and he gulped back the groan that rumbled in his throat. If anyone had seen her giveaway look they'd think she was just taking the shot instead of answering when she reached out and tapped the glass. Not about to do anything that would reveal what he'd discovered, he eased back in his seat and waited for Miki to down her penalty for not answering.
He chuckled when she picked up the glass with one hand and blocked her nose with the other. A grimace crossed her face as she brought the liquor to her lips. Eyes scrunched closed, Miki swallowed the tequila in a rush. She wriggled in the seat next to him and placed the glass back down.
"God, that stuff is foul." A shudder rippled through her as she leaned back against the couch. "Okay, Dayne, truth or dare?"
"Truth."
"Mmm," Miki's mouth kicked up in a sexy little smirk before she asked her question. "Have you ever made out with a girl?"
For a second Dayne just stared at her before laughter erupted. Frankie snorted before joining in at the same time Grant did.
"Jeez, come on, answer the damn question and get on with the game," Mike grumbled.
"Yes, Miki, I've made out with a girl a time or two." Dayne tweaked Miki's nose before turning to Mike. "Truth or Dare?"
"Dare."
Mike almost bounced in his seat waiting for Dayne's dare. Grant thought the guy was in his late twenties, possibly early thirties, but you wouldn't guess it from the way he acted.
"Okay, how about you try sucking your own dick?" Dayne asked.
"Can't. Tried." Mike turned to Frankie. "Your turn. Truth or Dare?"
"Christ, Mike, you're disgusting," Frankie said.
"Truth or Dare?"
Grant could only imagine what the dickhead would come up with once Frankie picked her poison. He might have to take the shot on his next couple of rounds just to make the game a little more interesting because it certainly wasn't proving much fun sober, but with a haze of alcohol under his belt it wouldn't matter.
