The new Gredunza Press Blog

After months of dicking around with Wordpress, Posterous, and other would-be solutions, it's best to just come right back here and start fresh. Yesterday's news is still there for now, but here's the new hotness

Twitter for Mac is finally out

You need the Mac App Store to get it, but it's phenomenal, everything the sequel to Tweetie should be. My one caveat is that you still need to go to the website to do some things (like re-organize lists), but really, this is the best client I've ever seen.

Flickr on Windows Phone 7

Blows away any of the Flickr apps on iPhone or Android.

I think people aren't buying these Windows Phones not because they're not great, because I think everyone agrees that they are, but because it doesn't yet have a full suite of great apps. It's coming, though, and this thoroughly beautiful Flickr app is proof of that.

The Mac App Store is now open

You can check it out here, but it's in no way clear how to get it. You have to go through, ironically, the software update in OSX in the 10.6.6 update, which is something I have to assume is going away after this store takes off.

Everything could be weirder

From Gawker:

The Romanian government is trying to pull the country from recession, and part of the plan is to start taxing witches. In turn, witches are casting spells on the president using dead animals and cat feces. That doesn't sound good.
