Blog Recommendation of the Day: Ahroomee
Tumblr's removal of the directory feature put an end to K Sawyer Paul's excellent idea of recommending one new blog every week, but I don't see why that should stop us from sharing interesting Tumblrs with each other.
If you're not following already, Ahroomee is run by Arrum, an 18 year old Indonesian wrestling fan.
She toyed with the idea of writing an editorial about the history of wrestling viewership in her country earlier today, and I quickly began prompting her to go through with it. She mentioned in this initial discussion that wrestling was banned in Indonesia, but what she didn't mention was that she has been fighting for her right to watch WWE. She was a member of a wrestling community that protested the ban, bombarding broadcasters with letters and requests to bring Raw and Smackdown back to air. Want to know the coolest part? It actually worked! If that's not badass (and extremely expressive of her passion), I don't know what is.
So glad Danni brought this back. Run with it girl.

As any graphic designer knows, Photoshop tools have always skirted around the edges of violence: Twist, Flatten, Spatter, and more. So I'm glad that Adobe has finally embraced this trend.
