Labyrinth 37 – C. Robert Cargill
C. Robert Cargill is the author of the new fantasy novel “Dreams and Shadows,” and the screenwriter of the horror film “Sinister,” starring Ethan Hawke. Cargill talked to me about his evolution from movie-loving kid, to journalist, and now, novelist and screenwriter. Labyrinth 36 – Abel James
Abel James found overnight fame with his podcast “Fat-Burning Man,” one of the most popular health podcasts out there. But Abel is not a man that consists just of Paleo lifestyle or primal living. He’s a musician, writer and life adventurer. In this episode we find out how Abel changed his dietary and lifestyle habits to fix his health problems, and how he lives today. We talk about the controversies of the Paleo movement, and how conventional advice from magazines sends out an opposite message about what we should eating and doing.

The Labyrinth 31 – Chris Ryan
Dr. Chris Ryan’s book “Sex at Dawn” is a New York Times bestseller, was listed as one of NPR’s favorite books of 2010, and was named best book of 2010 by Audible.com. “Sex at Dawn” breaks down assumptions about human sexuality by looking at the science behind DNA, genetics, behaviors both human and in primates, and it’s told through Christopher Ryan and Cacilda Jetha’s witty story telling. Chris recently launched his new podcast “Tangentially Speaking,” where he also investigates human sexuality, behavior, culture, and what makes us tick.

Using Stitcher radio to listen to the Labyrinth Podcast
If you’re a casual podcast listener, by now you may know that sometimes managing podcasts in your computer or smartphone is a pain in the ass. Sometimes it’s a huge pain in the ass, in fact. Waiting for feeds to download and sync takes forever, and adding new podcasts can be a bit laborious, too. And if you use iOS, you know the latest versions of the podcasts app are making some users ditch the app for alternatives.
I wanted to let you know that you can find The Labyrinth on Stitcher radio, a service that lets you stream podcasts into your phone like Pandora or Spotify. I like it because it’s easy to use, and it takes care of all the feeds for you. All you have to do is listen. They also just added the ability to store the latest episode in the phone, in case you are offline or your data connection is spotty.
To add The Labyrinth in Stitcher, just download the app (available on Android and iOS), search for “Labyrinth podcast”, and you can listen and subscribe with the click of a button.
And hey, thanks for listening!
