Parties, Giveaways, and Accolades!
Today, Jen on the Edge wrote a blog post about SCRAPBOOK OF SECRETS is doing a little giveaway. Speaking of giveaways, my publisher, Kensington Books, is giving away an actual scrapbook page designed by me, plus a $25.00 scrapbooking gift card.

The mystery expert on B & N has selected SCRAPBOOK OF SECRETS as one of the best new e-book mysteries! Woot! I'm so excited about this.
I had a fabulous launch party on Saturday at Stone Soup Books, here in Waynesboro, and my friend Christy Majors took some great pictures. Check them out here. And more on the party later.
You may have noticed that I'm blogging once a week at Killer Hobbies with other mystery authors who have craft themes in their books. Tomorrow evening at 9 p.m., we are having a Valentine's Day bash and giving away chocolates. We are having the party on Joanna Campbell Slan's FB author page. The last time she had a party there, it was so much fun. I hope you can join us. I'll be there!

Five things I thought about during my morning run, PLUS:
1. Interesting, sparkling, bright sun patterns on the track.
2. That woman that keeps passing me is totally ripped.
3. Switching from Alison Kraus to Ricki Lee Jones. I love them both, but sometimes changing the music helps keep my mind off the running. 
4. The gym has been packed recently. There was barely any space at last night's Zumba class.

Five things I thought about during my morning run:
1. I usually don't run on Wednesday. It's a Zumba night. But I couldn't resist this glorious morning!
2. Getting a hair cut. When?

4. Love when the sweat starts against the slightly chilled morning air on my skin. Ni-ice.

Virtual Book Parties, Tours, and Free Books–oh MY!
My book SCRAPBOOK OF SECRETS officially launches next week—Feb. 7, to be exact. I'm having a launch party at my local Indie bookstore—Stone Soup Books on February 11. But I'm also having two more parties—one on Twitter and one on Facebook. I've got to keep my virtual community in the loop!
The party on Twitter will be February 7, 7:00 to 8:00 pm est. We'll be using the hashtag #scrapbookofsecrets. For those of you who've never done anything like this, you can simply put #scrapbookofsecrets in the search function and a page will come up with the conversation. Here's the tricky part: you have to make sure to place that #scrapbookofsecrets in everything you post, or it will get lost in the Twitter stream. So, the idea is to have a virtual launch party and we will be having a LIVE conversation. Come with your jokes and party conversation. Or ask me anything you want—as long as I can ask YOU anything I want. heh.
Oh, I'll be giving away books and little paper surprises. You don't want to miss it. The virtual party will continue on Facebook on February 8 with a Valentine poem contest. Post your favorite love poem on my FB author page (https://www.facebook.com/molliecoxbry...) any time during the day and I'll choose my favorites, which will win books and little paper gifts, like mini-scrapbooking kits, and Valentine's note kits.
These days, all of the writers I know are doing blog tours, so I'm giving that a go. Here's my list—some of which I'm still firming up, as in getting the dates and so on.
