Zombies Rule!
I am a zombie fan. Unashamedly, I will stand my ground and admit it to ANYONE. Heck, even my boss knows I'm a zombie fan! Zombies rule! Zombies are the BIGGEST & BADDEST of the monsters!
Seriously, what is scarier than some dead person who only wants to eat you? They just keep plodding on, bits falling off, not smelling that great, with only one thought on their mind. EAT! (kind of like me when I see a bag of chips...but let's not go there).
So why am I doing this blog on zombies? Because season one of Z Nation arrived, it's sitting in the lounge burning a hole in the cupboard beside the TV, calling to me...calling to me...calling to me... (did I mention it was calling to me?). It wants me to watch it NOW. SO BADLY.
But I'm not and you know why? Because I'm trying to be good and spend my afternoon off writing Del's story, when all I really want to do is watch ZOMBIES!!!
God, I am so good. Or sad. Probably sad. Definitely sad. I want zombies! *sob*

Luke's Book Buying Links & other things
Firstly, as promised, just to let you know pre-orders for Luke's story are available at Amazon, iBooks, Barnes & Noble, Kobo and All Romance eBooks. I have no idea how to do the links here without posting the whole spiel for each website, so all I can offer is that the links are on my website www.angelaverdenius.com if you want them.
Now that I've finished the editing and am simply waiting for release day, I have had my usual 2 weeks off from writing (one week left now) and I have binged on watching DVDs on my days off from the hospital! And I mean BINGED! I have already watched the complete Season 4 of Grimm, Season 1 of Dominion, complete series of South of Hell, as well as watching 3 horror movies in one afternoon (that'd be last Friday, people). I still have the complete series of 2 Guys, A Girl and A Pizza Place to watch, and about 6 seasons of Rules of Engagement. Doubt very much I'll get those all watched before the end of this week coming, as I still have to work the day job, but I will get to watch some of them! I've never seen 2 Guys, A Girl and A Pizza Place, but it has Ryan Reynolds in it and as he's a hunk, I am so there, baby!
Pride & Prejudice & Zombies is out, too, and I'm thinking...should I buy the DVD or rent it?! Decisions, decisions! Renting is probably the cheapest option, as I've just paid the plumber's bill (there went my left kidney). But it's...you know...zombies!!!!!!!
Been working my way through the Nightside series on my kindle, think there's only one book left in the series. Devastation! I love binging on a great series, but when it's over, I'm left looking around going...what now? (whimper) Never mind, there's heaps of awesome books still to read! I'm sure I can find something in my 800+ books on my kindle, right? *sheepish expression*
Okay, better stop here. I have to get ready for work soon, Got to keep the cats in the comfort to which they've become accustomed. Have a great Sunday, everyone, I'll catch you later!

Why? Just WHY? Argh!!!
I recently watched Fear the Walking Dead S3.
OMG - why do I DO this to myself? I don't like the characters, I wish they'd all get eaten by zombies, and the whole thing just drives me nuts.
So WHY did I buy it and WATCH it knowing this?
Self-torture?
Self-punishment?
No, I'm just jonesing for zombies. I'm waiting for S8 of The Walking Dead to come out on DVD in Sept/Oct, I'm waiting for a good zombie movie, so my next best thing is buying the freakin' Fear the Walking Dead.
Even though I can't stand it.
How's that for an addiction to zombie, huh? Needing a zombie flick so bad that I'll watch one knowing I'm going to blow my top.
And I did. I blew my top.
Within five minutes (I kid you not. 5. Five. FIVE MINUTES!) I was yelling at the TV, throwing my hands all over the place, rolling my eyes so wildly it's amazing they didn't just fall out of my head and roll on the floor for the cats to play with.
I wanted the lead heroine (Madison) to be eaten. Or smacked.
The son? Eat or smack, preferably both.
The daughter? She was okay until towards the end - that was a WTHell moment.
I'm telling you, this family is a walking disaster. They strut in there (that'd be Madison), do stupid things (cue the son and Madison), and then have a WTHell moment (let's just throw in the daughter here, okay?)
This family leaves death and destruction in their wake, they're worse than the zombies. I've said it before and I'll say it again - if there's a zombie apocalypse and someone says there's safety in numbers and to join their group - not on your freakin' nelly, people. Never. Nada. NO FREAKIN' WAY! I'll have a better chance with the zombies.
So as I sat there, the last episode finished, knowing there was no way I'd get those hours of my life back, and I'm fuming and a bit dry-throated from all the yelling and swearing at the TV, I just can't believe I have done it yet again. Been so strung out wanting a zombie flick that I watched FTWD S3. What is wrong with me? WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME?
I'm so tired just writing this. I'm exhausted. Now I hear that FTWD and TWD are going to do a cross-over.
My mouth fell open. (A fly nearly got in, too, but we won't go there).
Are you serious? Are you kidding? FTWD and TWD? All I can say is - nice knowing you, Rick! Here's a word of advice - RUN! As far and fast as you can from Madison and her kids. This little family has the capacity to wipe out every group - hey, ...wait a minute...just had a thought...
Send Madison and her kids against Neegan - that'd wipe him out! Secret weapon people, secret weapon! Why didn't I think of that before? Rick! Rick, listen to me! Send Madison and her kids to Neegan, wipe out your enemy (I know, it's ruthless, but a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do, right?), and then run, Rick, RUN!
BTW...I have to get the fast forward button on the remote control fixed again. I've worn it out...
