Jason's Story is Done!!!
Can't believe I'm saying this but - Jason's story is done! Finished!
Yes, I know! After all my whining, tantrums, key indentations in my forehead from banging it on the keyboard, and threats to Wipe Him Out, his story is done!
It's in the editing stages now, will be released on the 1st April (I know, April Fool's Day!) and is available for Pre-order from Amazon, Smashwords and All Romance eBooks. Sorry, I have no idea how to attach the links, but if you go to my website, you'll find the links there. I'll be adding to them as more links come through.
Even better, I've got myself organized and not only posted the cover and blurb on my site, but also an excerpt.
I really hope I did justice to Jason's book. Seriously, I was so worried about what people would think of his story that I might have created a block for myself. Once I realized that I can only write his story from my heart, and how I see him and the heroine, that I was able to really get into his story.
I hope you all like it.
For those not interested in the book, that's cool, no worries. But have a gander at the cover, that's worth a peek! *drool* I've had that cover printed out and stuck on my wall next to the desk to inspire me.
Can I say that originally the title was to be 'No Promises', but as the book progressed, it dawned on me that 'Promises' was a much more apt title.
I think I learned a few things about myself on Jason's journey, believe it or not.
Hmmm...and believe it or not, his book has led me to start plotting a new trilogy! But more about that later *wink*.
Meanwhile, thank you to everyone for being my 'listening ears' when I've had to moan and yell about the book! I appreciate you all. It's great to share the journey!

Those Days...and Blue's Progress
You know those days...you get forewarning the water will go off for 6 hrs, you write the note to remind everyone, you fill 3 buckets just in case, do everything needing water early, turn off the main...then you try to wet a cloth, can't figure out why, then are so glad no one is home to see you being a twit... You also do a general update to inform everyone on Goodreads of this and realise it's been done in the book update...Ooops. DARN IT!!!!
On a good note, Blue's story is clapping along nicely. I'm two thirds of the way through it and hammering it like crazy. Not quite sure how I feel about the story-line - yeah, I know, I do this all the time. I'm just a little concerned because of all the stops and starts this book has done over the last few months, and I've had to get my 'mojo' back twice between surgery rather than the full-on writing I usually do without stopping until it's completed. Never mind. I will continue to forge onward.
Another great thing is that I have 3 weeks off work starting Monday. I know, 3 weeks off that ISN'T sick leave! Mum is having an eye op so I'm her driver/nurse/cleaning lady etc, which is all fine, I'd planned for that. Also awesome is I have some horror DVDs waiting for me to watch and a stack of ebooks and paperbacks, and I intend during these holidays to hammer this book. My aim? I want to get this finished by the end of August, maybe sooner, depending on how things go. Like today, when it's my day off but I need to go in to work for several hours for meetings...gah! Okay, pulling up my big girl panties (flowered ones, in case anyone cares), I'll hammer Blue before I go and when I get home.
So yes, aiming to finish Blue's story by end of August, maybe sooner. I'll do my very best. Then the re-read and editing and fixing up mistakes and adding or deleting as necessary. So I can't promise it WILL be finished by end of August, but I can promise I WILL do my very best!!!
