Book Sale to Help with Coronavirus Quarantine & Financial Hardship

The coronavirus has many people in quarantine, either through self-quarantine or enforced quarantine. In a nutshell, some countries are suffering worse than others, some are at the beginning, some in the middle, and some towards the end.

I know how valuable books can be during times of quarantine. I know many people have lost jobs or work hours. So to help, I'm dropping the price of the ebooks listed below from US $3.99 to just US 0.99c.

PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THE REDUCED PRICES ARE STILL ROLLING THROUGH THE DIFFERENT DISTRIBUTORS - so you will have to check over the next few days.

Unless otherwise indicated, the ebooks are available from Amazon, Smashwords, Barnes & Noble, iBooks and Kobo - links on my website www.angelaverdenius.com
Feel free to spread the word.

So if you haven't read these books but are interested in checking them out, these are the ones currently dropped in price:

Contemporary Romance (mostly BBWs)

Adam's Thorn

People, we’ve come through many things - SARS, MRSA and swine flu. Our elders have come through World Wars and poverty, economic crashes, you name it. Many of us are going to suffer losses - financially, emotionally, physically, friends and family. I’m sorry we have to go through this, but there’s no way else to do this but continue going forwards. There’s a light at the end of the tunnel, we’ll reach it. We’ll get through this. We WILL come out the other side, and life will resume. It’ll be hard for awhile, no doubt about it. But meanwhile, keep plodding forward. Support each other, send a cheery email, a joke, a funny pic to your friends and family. Phone them up, have a chat. If there are any people in need, especially the elderly or sick, and you can help in some way big or small, please do so.

Look out for each other. Don’t hog the bog paper when you shop! (Seriously, who ever thought bog paper would be worth more than gold right now?!)

We will come through this, people. We just gotta hang in there. So stay alert, follow the news, don’t believe the rumours, and please, get your information from the WHO website or CDC. DO NOT rely on rumours from all those well-known social media sites. Get the truth. And my advice is do not overload yourself with hours upon hours of watching the news and updates. Take a break, do something else. Keep updated a couple of times a day but don’t let it consume you.

Okay?

If you’re in quarantine, look for something you might have put off doing, take the time to read, knit, do those model airplanes you have stashed away in the back of your cupboard, watch some movies.

As for me? I’m still working in Palliative Care in my hospital Down Under. We’re taking precautions and being updated by our Infection Control staff. Slowly but surely it seems the virus is spreading it’s tentacles closer to us, but whatever happens, we’ll face it. ‘Cause we have to, right?

Got you all in my prayers, stay safe, and here’s looking forward to the future…and enough bog paper.

*hugs*
Ang
