Genre: Paranormal/Werewolf/Multi Partner Romance

Length: 17,500 words (short story)

MSRP: $2.99

How does an alpha she-wolf, who can snap a man in half, learn to love and accept a pair of males who can only beat her in a game of chess?

Deena’s searched a long time for a man she can claim, but nobody has ever stirred her interest, until Simon and Frank. The moment she meets the nerdy friends, she wants to mark them as her own, but as alpha of her pack, she can’t settle for a pair of geeks as her mates even if in the bedroom they make her submit.

At first Deena terrifies them, but as Simon and Frank get to know her, they realize that beneath the tough exterior is a woman who wants a man–or two–to take control. When it comes to fistfights, they might not have the strength to prevail, but in a battle of the mind, and heart, they’ve got the smarts it takes to emerge victorious…to her screaming pleasure.

Trust fate and two men, to show this she-wolf that with a little bit of bondage, teasing and pleasure, she can claim the geeks who draw her, because after all, even a bitch can’t fight fate and her need for love.

Excerpt:

As a wolf of no rank, unless intelligence suddenly counted, Simon didn’t know what to do when the she-wolf came stalking toward him, hungry intent clear in her gaze, which baffled him. Simon didn’t inspire strong feelings. Heck, he was lucky if he left an impression at all. And that’s how I like it. He left the games and politics of pack life to others, content to lose himself in studies.

Science and history aside, he couldn’t deny a morbid curiosity to know what such an alpha female would want from him. Hot, sweaty sex came to mind, although he wondered what kind of injuries he’d sustain between her obviously athletic thighs. But what a way to go. As quickly as the erotic thought hit, he dismissed it. Why would she bother with him when a lady of her looks could have her pick? A shame, because he couldn’t ever recall such a feeling of awareness toward one of the opposite sex.

What a magnificent specimen of womanhood she appeared. Tall, taller than him at any rate, she possessed a pair of wide hips—ideal for grasping—and full breasts—the perfect size to smother his face. Her blonde hair refused to stay in her ponytail and stray strands curled about her face, softening her features. She reminded him of an Amazonian goddess come to stomp all over him. An alpha female who seemed to want to speak to him, even if she seemed at a loss for words when she halted before him. Eyeing him up and down like a choice piece of steak, an urge to squirm came over him, and he fought to control himself, but he had less luck convincing his cock to stay dormant. It, along with his not-often-heard inner wolf, woke, the one engorging in his baggy slacks, the other watching through his eyes with rapt attention. It was all he could do not to let his tongue hang out.

“Who are you?” the female who stood a few inches taller than him asked. Or at least, that’s what he thought she said. He couldn’t be sure given how his senses all tingled at her closeness.

She crossed her arms, impatience clear in her stance as she waited for his answer. Simon, however, terrified he’d embarrass himself in front of her—probably by speaking in gibberish or slobbering on her feet before he swooned—took off running, the survival instinct kicking in.

It only occurred to him as he tried to slip through the many bodies crowding the room, that perhaps he’d not chosen the wisest course of action. I’ve watched enough documentaries to know that showing weakness only makes a predator more determined. A quick glance over his shoulder showed her moving after him with grim purpose, the crowd splitting before her to allow her ease of passage while he struggled.

Shit! Shit! Shit! Simon couldn’t stop the panic, the irrational fear that if he let her catch him, she’d chew him up and spit him out, changing his life forever. It didn’t help that his wolf agreed, but instead of running, it wanted to lie down on its back and give her its belly. Simon might not own the strength of some of the other males, but he still had some pride.

He kept squeezing himself through the crowd until he reached an exit door. Pushing on the bar, he left the auditorium and whirled to slam the door shut, but not before he caught a glimpse of her face, her lip curling in a smile of expectation that made him shake in fear, but at the same time made him harder than he’d ever imagined.

The portal clanged shut, and not seeing anything to block it, he sprinted down the sparsely populated hall. Behind him, he heard the buzz of the crowd as a door opened, then a hushed silence as it closed and those in the hall with him stopped speaking.

“Don’t make me chase you. You won’t escape,” she called, her rich voice rolling over him and leaving goosebumps behind.

With a heavy sigh, he turned to face her. Simon knew she spoke the truth. Besides, mayhap he panicked for nothing. Maybe she just wants to talk. And maybe I turn into a rabbit on the full moon, his mind snickered in reply. As she came striding down that hall, her long, jean-clad legs eating up the distance, he swallowed hard, suddenly feeling a close affinity to all the prey in the world.

It’s time to get some heat going as we head in to summer! For those who’ve thought about dipping their toes into the menage world, this book is a great start. It’s got humor, lots of romance, and some spicy love scenes with nothing too hardcore for those experimenting with MFM for the first time.

Happy reading, Eve

When cyborg intelligence meets sensual robotics, sparks fly.

Einstein was probably the only cyborg in existence with no interest in the opposite sex, until he discovers B785. With her sensual nature and quirky sense of humor, she draws this cybernetic geek out of his scientific shell and teaches him the one thing he’s never understood – passion.

Tired of being a slave to the military, Bonnie went to sleep one day with the intention of never waking up, but she didn’t count on a cybernetic prince charming bringing her back to life. Coming to terms with her past isn’t easy, but harder still is the realization that even a bionic princess can fall in love.

However, all fairy tales have a villain, and despite the fact the military wrote them both off as a loss, they soon discover they’ll need to fight to have their happily ever after.

The Cyborgs: More Than Machines books can be read as stand alone stories, however, for total reader enjoyment it is recommended you read them in order.

C791 – Book 1
F814 – Book 2
B785 – Book 3

Excerpt (Adults 18+ please):

Leaving aside her ribs, and barely touching upon her breasts—globes which ached for his hands to cup them—Einstein palpated the skin behind her ears.“Interesting,” he muttered.

“What is?” Other than the fact he could forgo groping her boobs, but get intrigued by her boring ears.

“I feel no sign of the port you mentioned. No indentation, or ridge. If you hadn’t told me of its existence, I would have never known it was there.”

“It is. You can slice me open and take a peek if you’d like.”

“Not necessary. I believe you. Besides it would serve no purpose. I don’t have a computer I can safely hook you up to. Even if I don’t believe you harbor any hidden time bombs, I prefer to exercise caution. I will wait until we get back to my main lab. I have a computer that lacks both wireless connectivity and is apart from the mainframe. A safe machine if you will that I can use to explore your direct access without introducing any viruses to our mainframe.” Einstein stepped back from her. “You may get up now.”

“So I’m clean, charming?”

“As far as I can tell. You may clothe yourself.”

“That’s it? You barely touched me.”

“Visually, I detected no anomalies or lumps beneath your skin.”

“But you didn’t really check my breasts.” She cupped them, enjoying how his gaze couldn’t seem to move from her hands.

“I—Uh, the, um scan was able to ascertain nothing but fatty tissues in your mammary glands. No need for me to palpate.”

No need except for the fact she would have enjoyed it. She sat up, the sheet hugging the top of her breasts but leaving her shoulders bare. “You didn’t do any probing though.”

Boy did that fluster him. He turned away quickly, idly shuffling the tools on his tray. “That seems unnecessarily intrusive.”

“Then don’t do it for science. Do it for fun.”

“Excuse me?” He whirled with a confused expression marring his face.

“Come on, you can’t tell me you wouldn’t like to touch me there.” She peeked at him coyly through her lashes.

“It wouldn’t be appropriate.”

“Screw appropriate. I think you should be thorough, charming.” She inched the sheet up her thigh, exposing the skin, watching his riveted gaze, the evident desire thrumming through him feeding her own arousal. How she wanted him to throw off his standoffish demeanor and caress her. “Touch me,” she demanded in a husky voice. “I won’t mind. And I know you’d like it.”

He shook his head. “No thank you.”

“Come on. I owe you for waking me up.”

For some reason this brought a rigidness to his muscles. “You owe me nothing. You are free now, Bonnie. Despite what the military expected, you do not have to offer yourself to me or anyone. Your body is your own.”

Good to know. But it didn’t change the fact she was strangely aroused by this reticent man. “Well since the choice is mine, why can’t I choose to ask you for sex?”

“Because.”

“Because? That’s not an answer, charming.” She strode toward him, hips undulating, fascinated by the way he swallowed hard, and held himself so tightly wound. Before she could reach out and touch him, he stumbled back.

“I’m needed on the bridge. Why don’t you take some time to rest and when you wake, I can have someone show you the ship while I slumber.” He said this all in a rush of words before practically running out the door. Heck, he almost slammed into the portal so quickly did he dash.

Way to make a girl feel good, and leave me feeling horny. But he’d be back. After all, this was his room. And when he did return, she’d be waiting…

I need your vote!

I hate to do this, but I am going to shamelessly beg for some votes. I’m already way behind in my categories, even though the polls just opened, so at this point, I just don’t want to look too bad in the face of the competition. And did I mention what awesome authors I’m up against?!! It’s crazy. Anyway, if you’ve got a minute, please cast a vote. I’ve got nominations in a few categories. I would so appreciate it. Pretty please!!! I’m begging… with a cherry on top. Not into sweets? Then how about a promise to write more awesome, giggle worthy stories about werewolves and aliens and shapeshifters and Hell? lol. Thanks, readers.

Excerpt: (For mature audiences, 18 or over)

The hunt for the woman excited him. The more she seemingly evaded capture, the more his heart raced—and his cock hardened. Come out, come out, wherever you are. This big, bad wolf wants to say hello.

It took a few more stumbles and teeters before he found her, standing with her back to him at the kitchen sink, and for a moment Remy almost forgot himself. His beast side came close to taking over, and what it wanted to do shocked him—although not as much as it should have. He wanted to go to her and shred the clothing from her body. To bend her over and thrust into her, fuck her hard until he came with his cock buried to the hilt and his teeth firmly planted in her shoulder, marking her.

Complete madness of course. A Lycan didn’t just take a human female like that. Even drunk as a skunk he knew that. There were rules to follow, a courtship dance designed to seduce the woman until she willingly agreed to bind herself to a man who was also a wolf. But knowing the steps involved in seduction didn’t lessen the urge. With great effort, Remy tamped it down. I have more control than a beast. Drunk or not, I won’t fuck this up.

For a moment, he just stood admiring the view from the rear—which he still had to admit would look better naked and bent over. Forcing his gaze away from her plump ass, he checked out the rest of her. Up close, her hair appeared even curlier and silky, its brown depths broken up with a hint of auburn. She couldn’t have topped more than five foot five, and he estimated she wouldn’t go past his chin.

Unlike some of the other girls at the party, she’d dressed sedately in a patterned blouse tucked into a pair of jeans. Not skin tight hip-huggers as was the fashion nowadays, but her high-waist pants were still snug enough to caress the curve of her full bottom and give a hint of her rounded thighs.

Mine, oh, mine. Oh, baby, I can’t wait to see that sweet body of yours naked. Patience, though. First things first. He should find out her name.

Sneaking up on her, he cornered her by placing a hand on the counter, trapping her between his arms. Before he could stop himself, he leaned in and inhaled deeply. Bad mistake. This close, his whole being thrummed with excitement, and again the urge to take her made his cock hard enough to use as a hammer. Fuck, this courting thing is going to be harder than I thought, just like my cock. A laugh burst free.

Startled blue eyes peered up at him as his woman turned in the circle of his arms to face him. He grinned at her crookedly. A gasp escaped her luscious lips, trepidation crossed her face, and a slight tremble shook her body.

Only inches separated them, and he could see himself reflected in her clear blue orbs. Shit. Remy inwardly cursed as he saw himself in her gaze, saw the reflection of glowing predator eyes. His eyes must have partially shifted in his excitement. Damned Lycan eyes. They tended to change color and glow when their bestial side rested too close to the surface. This most common outward expression of their otherness was why the young ones weren’t allowed out of their closed community until they’d gained control of their animal. Apparently, Remy wasn’t as in-command as he wanted to think. Good thing his dad wasn’t around. He’d have blown a gasket.

“What are you doing?” she asked, fear making her eyes wide.

“Don’t be afraid,” he whispered, entranced by her creamy white skin, already imagining the contrast it would make against his own darker tone.

“I-I should go find my cousins,” she stuttered, the scent of her angst strong. And surprising. As an alpha in training, Remy had always expected to end up with a dominant bitch. Perhaps he’d just taken her by surprise.

“Don’t leave yet, baby. We’ve just met.” He inched closer to her, his groin pressing up against her lower belly, his mouth inching toward hers, unable to prevent himself. Courtship ritual or not, surely a little taste was allowed? The chances of her being pure were slim to none. They were, after all, in the new millennium, not the Middle Ages, where women remained chaste until marriage.

She leaned back, away from him, her discomfort palpable. “I really need to go. They’re probably looking for me.”

Remy frowned, and paranoia set in. Did she not feel the same pull as him? Could he somehow be mistaken? Is the alcohol clouding my brain into thinking she’s my mate? “Don’t leave yet. We haven’t been introduced. I’m Remy.” Your future husband, a silent thought he kept to himself. He flashed a smile that shone perhaps a tad too toothily given how she flinched back. “Don’t be frightened. I won’t hurt you.”

“I’m not scared.”

He didn’t need to scent the lie to detect it. Her entire tone and bearing screamed trepidation. He kept to small talk to try to set her at ease. “Are you new to the college? I don’t think I’ve seen you around before.”

“I’m just here visiting.”

“Cool.” Yeah, totally suave answer. Remy wracked his brain for something witty to say, but so close to her, he couldn’t think. Couldn’t pull his wandering thoughts together. “You’re pretty.” He blurted the words out and immediately wanted to slap himself.

Eyes wide in surprise, her cheeks bloomed pink. “Thank you.”

“No, really you are. I’d like to take you out sometime.”

The pleasure in her eyes died. “I don’t think that will be possible. I’m only in town for another day, then I’m going back home with my parents.”

Leaving? She couldn’t leave. Not when he’d just found her. His beast growled, and some of its agitation showed because the fear returned to her gaze. “Where do you live? I’ll come to see you.”

“I don’t think that’s a good idea.”

This conversation really wasn’t going the way he planned. “Why not?” He couldn’t help asking.

“Just trust me on this. You seem like a nice guy.” Yeah, that didn’t sound too convincing. “But my parents would never allow me to date you. They’re very strict.”

“I can behave. Give me a chance, and I’ll show you.”

She shook her head. “Sorry, but I know my dad. He would never allow me to go out with you.”

“Why not?”

Her eyes dropped to a point below his chin, and he could just about touch her embarrassment as she mumbled a reply. “Because. He just wouldn’t. He’s very set in his ways.”

Remy didn’t give a flying fuck just how set in his ways her father was. This woman was his mate. His future. Mine. He cupped her cheeks and lifted her chin, forcing her to meet his gaze. “I’m not taking no for an answer.” He dipped his head, meaning to seal his promise with a kiss. She turned her head, and he caught her cheek.

Her breathing hitched. “P-please don’t.”

“Just one kiss?” Maybe then she’d feel the same pull, the same urgency he did.

“I can’t. Let me go.”

Shocked at her panicked reaction, he didn’t attempt to stop her when she pushed at his arm. He let it fall limply to his side and watched as she scurried away, disappearing into the crowd without a backward glance.

In his mind, he could almost hear his wolf side whine, baffled at her reaction. How could I be so wrong when she smells so right? Or did I come on too strongly? Perhaps he needed to stop balking at the dating protocol set forth by the elders. Apparently his usual method of charming a lady—basically saying hi and smiling so they’d drop their panties—wouldn’t work on his mate. Which totally sucks. Fine. If she required wooing, he’d woo the hell out of her. But how to approach her anew?

He turned to beer for the answer, but the golden fluid didn’t help him. Nor did he locate solace or a silver lining at the bottom of the bottle. But he did find he recalled the lyrics to “Werewolves of London,” which he belted out to howls and groans mixed with laughter.

* * * * *

Forbidden passion, seduction and more… Mina was a good girl who tried to walk away from the golden eyed devil, but Remy caught her and taught her not all pleasures were a sin.
