Nomination at Goodreads M/M Romance
Well, thank you! Alien ‘n’ Outlaw was nominated for a 2012 Goodreads M/M Romance Member Choice award for Best SciFi/Futuristic/Post-Apocalyptic! There are some excellent books in the category, so in the words of the immortal Douglas Adams, I’ve got a whelk’s chance in a supernova of winning, but I’m thrilled to be nominated. Had such a great time with Darien & R’kos, I’m glad others did as well. You don’t need to be a member of the M/M Romance group, or even have a Goodreads account to vote, so check out the (enormous) list of categories and great books up for awards, and vote!

Release Day for Cover Up!
It’s here! It’s release day for Cover Up, the second in my Toronto Tales series, and I was fortunate to have the talented LC Chase create my lovely cover art. Such a great view… of the skyline Anyway, it’s a very different book than Cop Out, so I hope you enjoy.
Available at Dreamspinner Press, All Romance eBooks & Amazon.
Print: Dreamspinner Press.
Detective Ivan Bekker has hit rock bottom. Not only is he recovering from a bad breakup with a cheating boyfriend, he’s also involved in a drug bust gone bad. Ivan had to kill a man, and his friend was shot and is now fighting for his life. Though Ivan is under investigation for his part in the shooting, his boss sends him on an off-the-books undercover operation to close the case. The timing is critical—this could be their chance to plug a leak in the department.
Off-balance and without backup, Ivan finds himself playing a recent divorcé and becoming Parker Wakefield’s roommate. He finds it hard to believe that sweet Parker could possibly be a criminal, much less have ties to a Russian mafia drug-trafficking operation, and Ivan lets down his guard. His affection is unprofessional, but Parker is irresistible.
When Ivan comes across clear evidence of Parker’s criminal involvement, he has to choose: protect their relationship, regardless of the consequences, or save his career and arrest the man he loves.

Cloud Atlas and New Translation
Today I’m at Contact Infinite Futures talking about Cloud Atlas. I did not enjoy it. Feel free to stop by and find out why, or you know, tell me why you did like it. I probably won’t believe you, but you can try
Also, the Spanish translation for Cop Out came out yesterday. It’s called Evadiendo los problems, and it’s available from Dreamspinner Press. The translations are soooo cool.
I still have to update my website with the translation info, because I screwed up my back again and I’m having difficulty sitting in front of the computer. The chiropractor assures me it will get better faster than last time, but considering the first round of back issues is still completely messing up my writing schedules, I’m not impressed.
I’ve seen the draft cover for Cover Up. I was hoping I’d have the final to reveal today as well, but no such luck. Soon I hope!
Anyway, stop by Contact Infinite Futures if you get a chance. And assuming you’ve even heard of Cloud Atlas. I sure haven’t seen a lot of marketing for it.

Halloween Sexy Times
I’m at Contact Infinite Futures today talking about Halloween dildos. Kinda NSFW, but not graphic or anything. I know, I know, you’re all disappointed, but stop by if you get a chance. I was amused & I hope you will be too.
Probably I should be giving a wrap up of GayRomLIt, but I got edits while I was away and haven’t had a chance to gather my thoughts. Maybe later

GayRomLit Report & Translation!
I’ve got a quick summary of my adventures at GayRomLit over at the Loose Ends blog today. Do I get a gold star on my forehead for blogging while at this super fun, super exhausting event? I think so! I’ve still got today and tomorrow to get through, and I hope I don’t expire of exhaustion… or asphyxiate from laughing too hard.
Also, I got an email while I’ve been in Albuquerque that the Spanish translation for Cop Out is now on the Coming Soon page at Dreamspinner! It should be available November 13. Just like the Italian version, I can’t wait to see my words in a language I can’t understand. The whole translation thing has been very cool.

New Release Day! Craving is here!
The third book in my MIA Case Files series is finally here! And just in time for GayRomLit 2012! Oliver Cardoso appears in the first two books, and his story simmered for a long time. Of course, I love all my books, but I do love Oliver and I’m glad I was able to find him a happy ever after.
And, for those who read it, there’s a wee Easter egg in the book. I’ll be blogging about it eventually, but I want to give people time to figure it out on their own first. It’s more fun that way, isn’t it?
One last note… the MIA Case Files books are all standalone books. It’s probably better to read them in order, so you’ll know the back story of people who appear in this book, but it’s not necessary.
April Martinez is my awesome cover artist and MIA Case Files: Craving is available at Loose Id.
On a mission tracking down werewolves, a mishap disables Agent Brandon Ellison, rendering him unfit for field duty. Unable to deal with the repercussions of the accident, Brandon moves away and Oliver Cardoso not only loses his partner, but his lover. Years later, when Brandon returns as head of MIA’s Research and Development team, the hurt, guilt and blame fester into jealousy and professional rivalry, making working together almost impossible.
When an equipment failure almost kills Oliver, it appears as though Brandon’s executing some sort of revenge. Determined to find out the truth, Brandon invites himself along on his first mission in years, with Oliver and his new partner. With an elusive portal and the Umbrae creating a previously unknown creature, hundreds of lives, including Oliver’s, are at stake. Although their attraction hasn’t waned in the intervening years, putting aside their differences creates a potentially fatal distraction and falling in love again might destroy them both.
