Episode 69 – Is God Speaking to You Through Numbers?
This is from It’s Supernatural Network’s “Something More” with Emilie Plowman. She and I discuss how one of the ways God speaks is through numbers. Do you keep seeing the same number over and over, listen in to hear what that could mean. You can also find it on my facebook page @pstroybrewer. Be sure to look for the blue check mark next to my name.

SPILLING OUT
I sent My Son to rescue you. Come to Him and be filled with the living water I offer. I have called you to be different from this world. You are set apart to make a difference for My Kingdom. Let My glory spill out to those around you.
SPILLING OUT?Though Moses’ name means “rescued” and he tried to rescue a Hebrew being beaten by an Egyptian slave driver, his crime of killing the Egyptian was exposed. Now, killing an Egyptian was punishable by death and Moses’ own grandfather, Pharaoh, called for his head. Moses beat feet into the desert.
But Moses fled from the face of Pharaoh and dwelt in the land of Midian; and he sat down by a well. – Exodus 2:12
Now, the Midianites are some interesting folk. They’re desert-dwelling people. I have been to Midian and it’s like the moon. There are no trees – nothing but mountains and rocks. Although has its own kind of beauty, the only thing that will live out there is a goat and goat farmers. Not many places to hide. Moses went and dwelt there. He was now an outcast, a failure.
In God’s economy, wells are important. A meeting at the well represents the refreshing presence of the Lord – just ask the Samaritan woman. You and I are to be living wells, springing up, spilling out to those around us.
Do a Bible study of people who sit down by the well – Abraham, Joseph or Jesus. Wells appear to be symbolic of life, prosperity and abundance. It’s when God shows up and changes everything. It’s God saying, “That was then, this is now.” It’s a constant act of redemption as if He is promising, “It’s always gone this way, but now it’s going to change.”
That’s exactly what happened to Moses when he sat down at that well. There was his life before the well, then there was his life after it. Moses was 40 at this time. Too late? His prime in the past? No way, and it’s not over for you either.
Know this: the word of the Lord is coming to you. Sit by the well. Your change will come, and it will be glorious.

EXPECTANCY FOR THIS DAY
I Am more than you can imagine. I can do more than you can ever think or dream. I dare you to have great expectations for My limitless power, love and grace to show up in your life today. Look for Me. I Am with you always.
EXPECTANCY FOR THIS DAYIt is so important that we come into the presence of the Lord with expectancy. I don’t know what God is going to do at each church service, but I do know God is awesome. When I can’t predict His hand, I can predict His heart. He’s good, and so is getting together every week to celebrate Him at church.
Every time the Body of Christ gathers, there’s either going to be a band playing or you’ll be having an awesome encounter with Jesus. You and I need to come to church fully prepared to have an encounter. Without that, church is nothing but a big room full of people.
Before every service, I pray, “Lord, let there be expectancy among us.” I want you to know Jesus better, understand your Bible in a whole new way and get real revelation into the heart of God, but that only happens if you want it to.
If you’ve ever found yourself complaining about the worship songs because they “didn’t speak” to you, or saying the sermon was boring or “didn’t apply” to you, I’d bet dollars to doughnuts you showed up needing an attitude adjustment. You weren’t expecting great revelation, upgrade or encounter so you left disappointed.
I’m sure a lot of you are tired. You’ve worked hard and maybe your week had more problems than solutions, blame than recognition, sickness than health, and more loneliness than friendship. Church is the place you go to celebrate God’s goodness with thanksgiving.
Being thankful, especially in the midst of problems, will keep you from twisting off into darkness and despair. It also brings the expectancy you need to have those life-changing, paradigm-shifting encounters with the Holy Spirit.
Today, even though we’re meeting together over e-mail, I pray the Spirit of the Lord quicken you in such a way that you leave reading these words more in love with the Lord Jesus Christ than when you kicked the sheets off. I declare you will have expectancy that the Lord will do great things this day – and on Sunday.
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your heart to God. – Colossians 3:16

EXCLUSIVELY JESUS
When you look for your destiny outside of Me, you get frustrated and feel like I don’t see you. I do. I see you in My image – your fullness. Invite your destiny by inviting Me through your service.
EXCLUSIVELY JESUSIn my opinion, the Body of Christ has not done a very good job talking about the exclusive way you individually know Jesus.
Here’s what’s real: there’s a way Jesus makes sense to you and a way Jesus reveals Himself to you. There’s also a way you reflect Jesus that nobody else can. How Jesus shows up to you sets a precedent in your life of how you walk with God and how you demonstrate Jesus.
I know you’ve never been told this, but I’m telling you now and it’s so important for you to understand. It’s all the way through the Bible. Yes, Jesus showed up in the Old Testament too.
When Jesus showed up to Moses, He was a miraculous sign in a burning bush. Because of this, Moses had the power to do miraculous signs. When Jesus showed up to Joshua as the Captain of the Lord’s Armies – a warrior with a sword in His hand – Joshua walked in a warrior anointing.
Listen, how Jesus shows up to you is how you walk in His power. So you need to have an ongoing revelation of the power of Jesus Christ in your life. You need to have an ongoing “apocalypse.”
If your mind is not being blown by how awesome Jesus, is you need to unplug from whatever news source you’re into. You need to go on a mission trip and get in the trenches. Find some homeless dude and feed him. You need to visit somebody in a prison or lay hands on somebody.
Let Jesus meet you in those places and see what kind of power He downloads into you. It will be deeply personal and will lead you into your destiny.
“For the vision is yet for the appointed time; It hastens toward the goal and it will not fail Though it tarries, wait for it; For it will certainly come, it will not delay.” – Habakkuk 2:3

DO YOU BELONG?
You did not choose me. I chose you and appointed you so you might go and bear fruit. Put your trust in Me and I will place people in your life to encourage you – to lift you up, not drag you back to where you used to be.
DO YOU BELONG?I think growing up Moses ignored the plight of the Hebrew slaves. He grew up with slaves in his house, so slavery was normal. One day, he went out to see how he would be living had his name not been “I have been rescued.”
He began to see the burdens on “his people” and how they had to live. While he was observing, he saw an Egyptian beating a Hebrew to death. The next verse reminds me of me.
“So, he looked this way and that way, and when he saw no one, he killed the Egyptian and hid him in the sand.” – Exodus 2:12
Moses assessed the situation and decided he could get away with it. But there was somebody there – the Jew he just saved. I think Moses had an idea he was supposed to be among them and serve their God. Maybe he was supposed to rescue them. Here’s his chance to rescue somebody, and the person he rescued told everybody. It wasn’t good.
Have you ever gone out of your way to sacrifice for somebody and they used it against you? Sadly, that’s part of the walk sometimes.
“And when he went out the second day, behold, two Hebrew men were fighting, and Moses said to the one who did the wrong, “Why are you striking your companion?” Then Hebrew said, “Who made you a prince and a judge over us? Do you intend to kill me as you killed the Egyptian?” – Exodus 13-14
Moses had a problem. The Jews hated the house of Pharaoh and agreed to use it against him. I don’t think it occurred to Moses that if he rescued somebody, they would tell Pharaoh. I think he was trying to step up and change his life. It turned around and bit him.
The word says Moses was scared, and when Pharaoh heard of it, he sought to kill him. But Moses fled Egypt. He ran into the desert of Midian.
Catch what’s going on. When Moses left as a 40-year-old man, he left the only family he had ever known and now he was their enemy, as well as the Jews he was trying to identify with.
He was a person without a people.
Though that seems harsh, it was right where God needed him to be for another 40 years. Are you there too? The monsters who were your family are not good for you. The people who need to be your family don’t know it yet.
Let God prepare you for a new tribe – a people who bring heaven to earth and understand you. Run into your Wilderness and let God prepare you because you belong.

RESCUE TO REDEMPTION
The plans I have for you are good. Bad things will happen, but I will be there to show you a good thing, to comfort you and bring you peace. Trust Me.
RESCUE TO REDEMPTIONThe power of redemption can come into your biggest, darkest nightmare. The power of redemption can come in and suddenly the thing that was so shameful is actually honorable to you. You got through it and look at what God has done.
Well this brother’s name is “rescued.” In verse 11, we jump 40 years into the future.
“Now it came to pass in those days, when Moses was grown, that he went out to his brethren and looked at their burdens and he saw an Egyptian beating a Hebrew, one of his brethren.” – Exodus 2:11
Moses realizes he’s on the wrong team. It happens to all of us with a calling on our life. I can remember when it happened with me and I see it all the time. Suddenly, the people you hang with and the people you used to hang with, shifts. You look over at the people of God and you feel you’re supposed to be with those people instead. Hmmm.
Something draws you, even though you’re comfortable in Pharaoh’s house – celebrated, educated and a warrior or whatever Moses’ job or occupation was. He was obviously celebrated and called Pharaoh “grandpa.” He was literally raised in royalty.
It seems no matter how you were raised, God can wiggle His way in. He does this with great love for you!
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. – Romans 8:28
God’s got good plans for you! He knows where you belong, and He always finds a way to get you there. It starts with rescue and ends with redemption.

Totally Legal: Part 2
21– Part 2:Totally Legal
Sunday, Jan. 10, 2021
Pastor Troy Brewer, OpenDoor Church, Burleson, TX
1 Corinthians 13:11-13
When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things. 12 For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known.
13 And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.
2 Peter 3:18
But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.
When you are 21 you are considered totally legal in America, ill have more to say about that in a bit but wen you are in christ all things are legal to you that are in Christ Jesus.
1 Corinthians 6:12
All things are lawful for me, but all things are not helpful. All things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any.
1 Corinthians 10:23 All things are lawful for me, but not all things are helpful; all things are lawful for me, but not all things edify.
The Passion Translation ends this verse like this: …but not everything causes the spiritual advancement of others.
* Doing prison ministry through the years
Since the lockdowns, prisoners have not been allowed to attend church receive visitors or enjoy the hope of prison ministries.
The socialist humanists among us want to take the powerful place of the church out of the prison system as they do in schools, politics, social media and every part of our society.
LAW IS NOT ENOUGH TO KEEP A SOCIETY SAFE
Repentance and the hope of redemption
in Christ is the answer!
Here’s a 2021 scripture for you
Acts 20:21
Testifying to Jews, and also to Greeks, repentance toward God and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.
We have always been about living into Scripture’s call to
Hebrews 13:3
Remember those in prison as if you were together with them in prison, and those who are mistreated as if you yourselves were suffering.
No Jewish sections in Prisons
Bar mitzvahs and bat mitzvahs
Bar mitzvah (Hebrew: בַּר מִצְוָה) is a Jewish coming of age ritual for boys, whereas bat mitzvah (Hebrew: בַּת מִצְוָה; Ashkenazi pronunciation: bas mitzveh) is the equivalent for girls.
So, 13 is the age of personal accountability among the Jews. Any society that protects its children and its young adults will have rights of passages and certain age limits for certain things.
The reason our prisons are not full of Jews is because
prisons are full of fatherless people.
If you are Jewish, you are defined by either one, two or all three groups including religion, ancestry or culture. Over 80% of Jewish people in the world live in either Israel or America. 12-14 million Jewish people in America tend to not end up in prison because they hear their Father bless them.
Matthew 3:17
And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”
The age of majority is the threshold of adulthood as recognized or declared in law. It is the moment when minors cease to be considered such and assume legal control over their persons, actions, and decisions, thus terminating the control and legal responsibilities of their parents or guardian over them.
Most countries set the age of majority at 18, but some jurisdictions have a higher age and others lower. The word “majority” here refers to having greater years and being of full age as opposed to minority, the state of being a minor.
The law in a given jurisdiction may not actually use the term “age of majority.” The term typically refers to a collection of laws bestowing the status of adulthood. Those under the age of majority are referred to as minors and may be legally denied certain privileges such as voting, buying and drinking alcoholic beverages, buying tobacco, gambling, marrying, buying or owning firearms, owning property, entering into binding contracts, or getting full driving privileges.
The legal age of consensual sex throughout the world differs from country to country
Where prostitution is legal it tends to be much lower. Think about that!!!!
In some nations, it is legal to pay money to molest a child because the age of consent is low and prostitution is legal. Yet in the same nations it is illegal to pay money to set them free. They call that trafficking.
Last year, we were instrumental and many times outright responsible for the liberty of
1,116 boys and girls set free in 2020
LET THIS BE A GREAT YEAR OF REDEMPTION IN JESUS NAME FOR ALL OF US!
Here are the 30 strongest Bible scriptures on maturity:
1 Corinthians 14:20
Brothers, do not be children in your thinking. Be infants in evil, but in your thinking be mature.
1 Corinthians 13:11
When I was a child, I spoke like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I gave up childish ways.
Ephesians 4:13
Until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.
2 Peter 3:18
But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.
1 Peter 2:2
Like newborn infants, long for the pure spiritual milk, that by it you may grow up into salvation.
1 Corinthians 10:13
No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.
1 Corinthians 2:6
Yet among the mature we do impart wisdom, although it is not a wisdom of this age or of the rulers of this age, who are doomed to pass away.
1 John 4:18
There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love.
1 Peter 2:9
But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.
1 Timothy 4:12
Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.
2 Corinthians 5:17
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.
2 Timothy 1:7
For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.
2 Timothy 2:22
So flee youthful passions and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace, along with those who call on the Lord from a pure heart.
Colossians 4:12
Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ Jesus, greets you, always struggling on your behalf in his prayers, that you may stand mature and fully assured in all the will of God.
Ephesians 4:14
So that we may no longer be children, tossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by human cunning, by craftiness in deceitful schemes.
Galatians 2:20
I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
Hebrews 5:14
But solid food is for the mature, for those who have their powers of discernment trained by constant practice to distinguish good from evil.
Hebrews 6:1
Therefore let us leave the elementary doctrine of Christ and go on to maturity, not laying again a foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God.
James 1:4
And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.
John 17:17
“Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth.”
Luke 2:52
And Jesus increased in wisdom and in stature and in favor with God and man.
Luke 8:14
“And as for what fell among the thorns, they are those who hear, but as they go on their way they are choked by the cares and riches and pleasures of life, and their fruit does not mature.”
Matthew 5:48
“You therefore must be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect.”
Philippians 1:6
And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.
Philippians 3:12
Not that I have already obtained this or am already perfect, but I press on to make it my own, because Christ Jesus has made me his own.
Philippians 3:15
Let those of us who are mature think this way, and if in anything you think otherwise, God will reveal that also to you.
Philippians 4:13
I can do all things through him who strengthens me.
Proverbs 9:9
Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be still wiser; teach a righteous man, and he will increase in learning.
Psalm 119:105
Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.
Romans 12:2
Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.

NOW, THAT’S TRIBE!
I designed you for unity with Me. You are able to love others more fully when you’re connected with My Holy Spirit in you. Seek Me today and I will not only be found by you, I will unite you with others searching for Me.
NOW, THAT’S TRIBE!
Tribe is God’s idea. Tribe is about the bigger picture of family.
In the family, we are all different. We’re all a little bit weird, but we all have the same Father. God loves diversity within the tribe, but He hates division within it.
In these last days, we need a huge value for unity and solidarity among Jesus-loving people. Whether you go to church on Saturday or Sunday, whether you dress up or don’t, have tattoos or don’t have tattoos – whatever it is you want to hang your hat on – if Christians are divided amongst ourselves, America will fall.
Unity makes us a conduit for God’s power. Division makes us impotent. If we’re going to expect to meet opposition when advancing in God’s Kingdom, and I expect that, we need to pray for unity now more than ever.
The Bible even says we need to practice unity.
“May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you a spirit of unity among yourselves as you follow Christ Jesus.” – Romans 15:5
There is an actual Spirit of Unity guys, and let us not grieve the Spirit of Unity. Like posting trash on Facebook about other Christians, or putting other churches down, the word says that is not OK with Jesus.
“Now I urge you, brethren, note those who cause divisions and offenses, contrary to the doctrine which you learned, and avoid them.” – Romans 16:17
I call this the left foot of fellowship, and you don’t want to get this from me or anyone else. You and I need to be united as citizens of heaven living on earth. We need to love the church down the street and pray for its success in bringing the lost to Jesus. Now, that’s tribe.

HOW HIGH?
I Am love. My word says that love “does not demand its own way.” I regard freedom so highly, I gave you the choice to love me. When you said, “Yes,” you became free from sin and death. Do not put yourself in the shackles of past regret and shame. I paid it all.
HOW HIGH?
Being human is so hard. God knows this about me and He loves my humanity anyway.
There is so much stuff I want to do that is not God, but I have to stop myself and say, “Just because I want to do that does not mean I have to. Just because I think that doesn’t mean I have to act on it. Just because I’m aware of something doesn’t mean I have to go to another level on it. I am not the slave to sin.”
It’s a big deal to be aware that you do not have to be a slave to sin. Can I tell you something? You’re not the devil because you feel certain things, know things, or are aware of things. You’re not even the devil because you like things that aren’t God.
I promise you, Jesus Christ was a human being. He was a man and He was aware when certain things were going on. He was tempted in all things, yet was without sin. It is not a sin to be tempted. Temptation is not a sin. Acting upon that desire and walking away from Jesus is a sin.
When tempted, no one should say, “God is tempting me.” For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone; but each person is tempted when they are dragged away by their own evil desire and enticed. – James 1:13-14
Praise God for self control. Out of all the fruit of the Holy Spirit, I believe self control is the most important. You can have all these other fruit, but if you don’t have self control you can’t activate the others. Self control is something you’ve got to grow in and surrender to over and over again.
The question you have to ask is, “Do I want to be blessed and be a blessing to others, or curse myself and everyone around me?”
Self-control reminds you you’re no longer a slave to sin. You and I need that reminder, especially when our past jumps up and bites us. That’s when I remind Pharaoh – the enemy – he doesn’t own me anymore. He can say, “Jump,” but I don’t have to say, “How high?” Neither do you.
