After the government declared the results, the national elections held in The Republic of Inner Pyjama have been widely derided as a sham. An Incumbent Party spokesperson, when asked to comment on the apparently anomalous results, suggested the result was beyond doubt, saying "the electorate ...
Chickens hit deadlines
I was idly observing a squidgy pile of ready-to-cook chickens when it struck me that there must be an awful lot of chicken feathers floating around. What do they do with them all? There must be billions of them. I know chicken poop is used as fertilizer but what about the feathers?
Hmmm..let's think. We could make things out of them. Here's some possibilities:

How does he do that?
This guy is simply amazing. My skeptical nature says there has to be another player off camera but it seems he's quite capable of doing it all on his own. Adam DeGraff…stunning.

Beasle wacknid obus jaynah
I've spent a few days away from it all. Well perhaps not all, but quite a lot of it anyway. Very nearly disconnected too. That's if you don't count the net access I can sometimes get, out in the wilds, on my trusty old N95. I don't really count it because while, signal permitting, I can usually check my email, the thought of using the keypad to write emails is, well…its ok 4 txt msgs but sumhow it fils r0ng anywer els. Ryt?

If you like 'real' music…
Just because I'm a writer doesn't mean I want to talk about writing or books all the time. And besides, would anyone really want to read about the trials authors face when converting their works from Word Processor produced files (Open Office, in my case) to the HTML files required as source documents for eBook production?
No, I thought not. Wanna listen to some live music instead? Try this…

Not sure if this post will feed properly from WordPress via RSS, but it's worth a look to see Mr Twain 'waddling' around his house…

Slow, slow, quick-quick slow
There's an article up at New Scientist by Linda Geddes which suggests there is hope for me yet. Apparently, people who are not much good at the tango are slow-witted are slow on the uptake have slower connections in their brain, have a tendency to be more creative. It's all to do with the 'integrity' of the white matter in your brain (yeah..I'd only heard of grey matter, too).
Read the full article here or just spend a bit of time pondering this image entitled 'White matter writ large'...
