I couldn’t get back to sleep, so I figured I may as well get up and write. The word count app...
I couldn’t get back to sleep, so I figured I may as well get up and write. The word count app I downloaded, Writechain, actually seems to be working pretty well at keeping me motivated to write every day.
I wrote just over 700 words and I’m moving that story along nicely. By word count, I’m just under halfway to what I think my goal is going to be (it could pull a fast one and get longer). The WIP I was working on yesterday hit -another- little snag (after I just got it unstuck!) so I have to sit on it for a while until I figure out which direction I’m going with it. I don’t usually have this many stories on the go (ok, well, stories that I plan on finishing), but I think that being able to jump between them is actually working really well for my style of…brain.
Now I guess I’ll work on interview questions, and then do some reading for research. Hopefully food in there somewhere. I still have peanut butter cookies left from yesterday. Mmm…peanut butter cookies…
