A Few Changes
This week, I have renewed efforts to encourage my readers and fans to become Patrons of my work on Patreon. I so far have two lovely Patrons, who have taken the step to pledge a monthly amount towards the cost of creating more content. In order to encourage more to take that step, I will be releasing videos and writing an online writing diary (chronicling my journey while writing my brand new book) and this content will be available to my Patrons only.
I have also decided, that after I have filmed the readings for the three questions I currently have lined up, I will only be offering the Oracle Readings on YouTube to my Patrons too. This is because it takes a lot of time to set up for filming, do the recording, then the editing and then the uploading. And I want this to be something that I offer to those who are keen for me to keep creating, and show that with their support.
I’m not a huge fan of exclusivity and scarcity and getting people to sign up for things, but the minimum amount you can pledge is $1 (about 66p) a month, which really isn’t very much to ask for in return for everything I create and post. There are different perks to becoming a Patron, depending on the amount you pledge, and more perks and bonuses will be added and offered as time goes on.
I have so much exciting stuff coming up to tell you about, that I promise I will begin blogging more often again!
You can click the image below to visit my profile on Patreon, and see what it’s all about :)

Happy 2016!
Hello beautiful soul!
Just wanted to wish you all the best of everything you wish for in 2016. I took some time out over Christmas and New Year, and that little bit of extra head space has allowed all sorts of mad and wonderful ideas to pour in, and now I am in need of creating a plan to action them! Some of them are already in process, and I know that others will need crazy deadlines in order to become a reality. I have new characters and stories running around in my head and lines of dialogue where there should be rational thought. So despite my decision to hold back on writing and publishing in order to focus on the marketing and other work, it appears that the Universe has completely different ideas!
2015 was indeed an interesting year, and to summarise, I published two more books in the Earth Angel series, I worked in Scotland briefly, I took part in Campnanowrimo, I did a 30 day blog challenge, and most surprisingly to myself, I managed to use my organiser, Astrid, for the entire year! In fact, she has been stripped of old notes and the 2015 diary, and there are shiny new empty pages just waiting to be filled with plans for this year. When I began using Astrid in January 2015, I was nervous that she would end up the same way as so many previous diaries did, put to one side and forgotten. But we are still best buddies! In fact, I did a little makeover, using some free printables I found online:
Taking the time to do some small crafty projects over Christmas, reminded me just how much I love to create things. I wasn’t planning to make any resolutions this year, but I do hope to be more creative, and make boring things pretty!
I will be adding a few things to my vision board, and I will be setting my intentions and goals in the next few days. I have a feeling that 2016 is going to be very interesting, and I am going to do the exact opposite to what I tried to do in 2015 (which was make a plan) and I am going to go with the flow!
In other random news, I was very pleased to have just passed the 40k views mark on this blog over the last few days! I started the blog when I began my journey in 2011, and in that first year, my blog received a total of 251 views! In contrast to that, the views for 2015 came to just under 18k. They might seem like small numbers compared to some sites that receive thousands of views per day, but I think it’s quite an awesome achievement. My readers in 2015 came from a total of 139 different countries! Knowing that these words are read by amazing folk like you all over the world makes me want to really share things that will inspire, help and make you smile :)
I do hope to blog more often, I know that I slacked off towards the end of last year, when I got busy with creating the Earth Angel classes and with editing work.
Wishing you an awesome New Year, whatever you decide to do with it! Thank you so much for reading my posts and supporting me in the last year, I really do appreciate it!

Favourite Christmas Recipe
One of the holiday foods I have missed the most in the last five years of being gluten-free, is Stollen. I adore marzipan, and I just love the taste of the sweet treat. Why I have never tried to make it myself before now, I have no idea! But it is so very simple, and not only that, but I have also made it vegan and yeast free too!
So if you want a simple, yummy, no dairy, egg or gluten Christmas treat, then this is your lucky day! Apologies for not posting actually in time for Christmas, I was too busy eating it!
This recipe has been adapted from this one and you can adapt it further to fit the contents of your cupboard!
100g gluten-free self-raising flour
50g gram flour
50g ground almonds
½ tsp salt
50g sugar
1tsp mixed spice
1tsp cinnamon
50g sultanas
30g chopped dates
15g chopped papaya
25g chopped almonds
30g coconut oil, melted
150ml water
120g marzipan
Grease a loaf tin, put a spoonful of flour into the tin and coat the sides. Tip out any excess flour.
Mix together the gluten-free self raising flour, gram flour, ground almonds, salt, sugar, mixed spice and cinnamon in a large bowl.
Mix in the fruit and chopped almonds.
Pour in the melted coconut oil, then the water and mix until smooth. The mixture should just be able to fall from the spoon.
Pour half of the mixture into the loaf tin. Make the marzipan into a sausage shape as long as the loaf and sit on top of the mixture. Cover with the rest of the batter.
Preheat the oven to 200°c / 400°f / gas mark 6.
Bake for 20 – 25 minutes until brown on all sides. Take the loaf out of the tin and tap the bottom. If it is cooked it will sound hollow.
Cool on a wire rack.
Dredge the top with icing sugar.

Writing and Publishing Update
I want to share with you a decision I have made in the last few days, which I know won’t make me very popular, but hopefully you will understand…
For the last 5 years that I have been publishing and writing my books, I have published an average of 2 books a year, and I have been putting my calling to write and publish above everything else. Above my health, my finances, and my relationships. In September, my body decided enough was enough and made me focus on it, made me help it to heal, and amazing synchronicities happened in the following couple of months to help me with that, and I feel as though I have more energy now than I ever remember having in my life!
Over the last five years, I have worked in quite a few different jobs, I have worked on publishing books for others, and I’ve published ten of my own novels – but I haven’t spent much time marketing those books that I have brought into the world. I feel it’s time to press the pause button on writing any more of my own books, and to focus on the precious gifts I have written already. Because by doing so, I will also improve my relationships, as I will then have the time to see my friends and family, and have more fun!
If you are a fan of the Earth Angel series, then I want to apologise – the 11th book, The Twin Flame Reality, will not be published this year. It is in need of some work to make it as good as it deserves to be, and as good as you deserve it to be! And right now, I haven’t got the quality time I need to dedicate to it, as Bilbo says in The Fellowship of the Ring – “I feel like too little butter spread over too much bread!” (Ironic considering I’m a gluten-free and dairy free!)
I’ll still write to my mailing list every week, and I’ll still blog, and create videos for YouTube, and be on Facebook, but there won’t be any more books published until I feel I have done my best by my other publications. So if you love the books already available, please do tell your friends about them and buy them as Christmas gifts!
I really appreciate your understanding and your unwavering support. I really do hate to go back on a promise, but it’s time to shift my focus and really give my published books the attention they deserve.
Before you get too mad at me, remember this –

My Top 10 Favourite Spiritual Books
I was recently asked to list my top ten favourite books for someone who was looking to create a Christmas list for herself. She knew I’d read a few (ahem) books over the years, and wanted to know what I would recommend. I listed 15 for her, and realised that others might be interested in some book recommendations too, but for my blog, I have grouped the books into different categories. These ten books are general spiritual books for all aspects of life; I will post book lists specific to creativity and health soon.
I haven’t included any links, I’m not making any money from these recommendations, and I’m pretty sure you can get them all on Amazon.
I’ve written a little story to go with each book, so you might want to grab a cuppa and get comfy!
#1. Heal Your Life – Louise Hay
I have the gift version of this book, it has beautiful illustrations, and makes me feel better just by looking at it! I bought my copy in the Angel’s Garden, an incredible shop in Pensacola, Florida, that is just filled with angelic goodies. The ladies who own it treat you like a part of the family, offering hugs and home-made lemonade to drink while you browse, and then they gift wrap your purchase in crisp white paper and a multitude of rainbow coloured ribbons! Visiting there is always a magical experience. Going back to the book, I loved reading Louise’s story, and there is so much helpful advice in it. It also contains the list from Heal your Body, which I use as a reference often!
#2. Conversations with God (book 1), Friendship with God, Home With God, What God wants. – Neale Donald Walsch.
I couldn’t choose just one of Neale’s books; in truth, I love them all, and having met Neale a couple of years ago, I love them even more knowing that they were written by one of the humblest souls I have ever known. I first read CWG book 1 back in 2007, when I picked up a copy in town, even though I had resistance to the word ‘God’. For many years I had decided I was atheist, as I couldn’t believe in a vengeful, hateful God as portrayed in some religions. I remember reading it and thinking – yes, this is the kind of God I believe exists. I love how Neale uses he/she interchangeably when referring to God, and the banter in the dialogue. I love the play on words God uses and also how some of the concepts are both simultaneously mind-blowing yet blindingly obvious at the same time. My favourite of all his books is Home with God, as it helped me so much with the subject of death.
#3. The 7 Laws of Success – Deepak Chopra
I picked up this book from the library when I lived in New York in 2008. The local library had a huge spiritual/self-help section, and I read a LOT of books while I lived there. I loved the concepts in this book, it’s the kind of book that makes you go – ah ha!! Pretty much every time you read it. It’s short enough to re-read a few times, and every time, you will get something different.
#4. Stillness Speaks – Eckhart Tolle
This was another find in the library in New York, and I remember being blown away by it. Such simple ideas but so incredibly profound and brilliant. I also loved A New Earth – both of these books are ones I could re-read over and over and find new things to amaze me.
#5. The Celestine Prophecy – James Redfield
I found this book in 2007, and I remember staying up until the early hours of the morning, unable to put it down because I was completely caught up in the story. It was one of the first Visionary Fiction novels I’d read, and it resonated so deeply with me, that I bought the accompanying experiential guide to explore the concepts more deeply. I went on to read the Tenth Insight (wasn’t as good, I didn’t feel) The Eleventh Insight (loved it) and the Twelfth Insight (was okay). They made a movie based on The Celestine Prophecy, but aside from the last scene, I was a little disappointed in it, I think it should have been made on the scale of Lord of the Rings, not a made for TV style movie.
#6. Embrace Your Magnificence – Fabienne Fredrickson
This is a beautiful book that made me glow just reading it. I downloaded it to my Kindle and read it so quickly, I plan to re-read it again more slowly, just to absorb the words that made me realise that in order to live the life I wish to experience, I need to fully embrace my true magnificence. As do you :)
#7. Ten secrets about life every woman should know – Barbara De Angelis
A wonderful Angel friend of mine gave me this book as a gift, and it is similar to Fabienne’s book in that its beautiful words are designed to uplift and fill you with joy, but its structure provides an easy way to remember each point, and to help you apply them to your life. I would recommend this book for both men and women.
#8. Life Colours – Pamala Oslie
I bought this book after participating in a workshop that Pamala held at the Mind Body Spirit Expo in LA in 2013. I was intrigued by her concept that we have aura colours that we are born with, and that these colours can indicate our personality. When I bought the book, she signed it and wrote in the front what colours she could see around me. Then I did the very lengthy quiz at the beginning of the book and found that she was right! When I read the sections on the colours, I couldn’t help but laugh out loud, as they described me perfectly. I also loved the fact that they fit the Earth Angel concept perfectly too.
#9. The Call – Oriah Mountain Dreamer
I found a copy of this in a charity shop, and there was a sentence on the third page that made me laugh but at the same time think – YES that’s exactly how I feel! So I bought it and loved it. Such a huge lesson learnt from this book, which is – stop battling with your reality! Accept what is in the present moment, stop trying to fight it, change it, hate it, ignore it or resent it. Just accept, love and appreciate it. Just that concept alone has changed things for me. I have ordered her other two books – The Invitation and The Dance, and I very much look forward to reading them too!
#10. The Realms of the Earth Angels – Doreen Virtue
I didn’t include this book in the original list, as the lady who asked me for my top ten books is actually a student in my Earth Angel Training Academy classes, so she had already read this book, but it was probably the most instrumental book in getting me onto my own spiritual path, as it helped me to understand myself and what I’m here on this planet to do.
Have you read any of these books? What are your favourite spiritual books? Comment below and share your thoughts about the books with others.

The Twin Flame Reality…
…is the title of the next book in the Earth Angel series!
The book has gone through a few titles, because the subject was a tricky one, but I didn’t want to paint it in a negative light, because I think that overall, the message for the Twin Flames is still a positive one.
The release date is the 21st December, but I aim to get it out sooner than that so it is available in time for you to buy it, and wrap it up to go under the Christmas tree!
I will reveal the new cover very soon, but in the meantime, here’s a quote from the new instalment.

Twin Flame Oracle Reading
Hello beautiful Earth Angels! Apologies for the blog being ultra quiet recently, I have been busy with the new book, which is being read by my Beta readers right now (cue biting nails!) and also I have been on a bit of a self-discovery journey with my health, which I will be blogging about soon, because I really want to share the things I have discovered in being my own health detective. If it’s helped me, it may help others!
I wanted to release this new reading, which I recorded (with the amazing assistance of rico films) for all Twin Flames currently stuck in the runner stage of their union. As always, if you wish to ask a question of Aria, Amethyst or Velvet, please do drop me an email – theamethystangel@hotmail.co.uk. I also plan to have the decks in stock for Christmas, so if you would like to buy your own, please do let me know, as it will help me with the numbers I need to order!
Sending so much love and light on this 11th day of the 11th month, it feels as though we are heading into a new dimension, and I hope it brings you all the love, joy and peace you are wishing for! I hope you enjoy the video, and I promise I will have more updates soon!

Be Brave
Today a friend shared a video from an Indiegogo campaign, and I was moved to tears by it. The funding is for completing and distributing a film that shows the journey of a man in his twenties, which is cut short when he takes home a bone from a Mayan burial cave. It sounds a little bit crazy, but I truly believe that as we are all made of energy, and all material objects are made of energy, that it’s possible for things to contain the energy of feelings and emotions and even curses.
Years ago, I bought a lucky charm keyring, that I made into a necklace. But whenever I wore it, I would get the worst luck! A few months later, I was attending a crystal healing course when the tutor asked us to bring things in for us to sense the energies of, a practice called psychometry. I took the lucky charm in, and I asked the tutor to see what she sensed. She said that it had been owned before, and the owner had very dark energy which had tainted it. I had bought it new, and didn’t see how that was possible, but after yet more bad luck when wearing it, I soon got rid of it!
Going back to the film, Be Brave looks to be so much more than a documentary about a man’s life. It looks like the kind of film that could actually change your life, and you can see from the video below, that it’s already having that effect, especially on the lives of the family he left behind.
I recommend you check it out, I can’t wait to see it as soon as it’s available to watch.
Visit Indiegogo to see the new campaign video, you can see the original campaign video, when they crowdfunded the making of the documentary, below.
