The Launch for RESCUE
I know information on the launch for RESCUE has been slow coming, but I think I’ve finally gotten it figured out.
Me, trying to figure it out.You asked such amazing questions, I wanted to get to as many as possible and answer them as best as I can. I also wanted the answers to be available to you and to teachers and young writers.
So…
Beginning on Wednesday, Feb 24th, I will release videos here and on YouTube, each one with a different focus. The links will be permanent.
I will not be having a live event for RESCUE, but I will this fall for the release of the fifth Ascendance book. However, I will cover all the same topics in these videos as I would in a live event, so I hope you will watch and enjoy them all!

All of your comments were super helpful! I have a plan now, and I will announce the details soon. In the meantime, send me any questions you want answered, about anything that I can help with: about my books, about writing, about a career as an author. You can post them below. If I use one of your questions during the launch party, you will be randomly entered in a drawing for your choice of several different prizes.
However, that will only apply to the first person who gets the question in. Repeat questions, even if they’re awesome, won’t be entered.

RESCUE, Quote 3
Hi friends, I need your advice. If I did any sort of launch party for this book, in what format should I do it?
YouTube? A Zoom meetup? Facebook live? A day-long celebration over this blog and all social media? Any other ideas?
RESCUE comes out on March 2nd, so I probably need to decide on this pretty quick!

It’s only six weeks from being released, and I am SO EXCITED to share this book with you!

RESCUE is the story of Meg Kenyon, who lives in Nazi-occupied France during World War 2. She goes out to her barn one day and notices drops of blood leading into the barn. There, she finds a downed British Air Force pilot who has come in hopes of finding her family. He is on a mission that, if successful, could result in the rescue of her father from a Nazi prison camp. However, because of his injuries, he will not be able to complete the mission. Meg must decide whether to complete it herself. To do so, she must solve a code from her father, one that may prove as dangerous as the mission itself.
