Readers' Favorite Book Review for "Of Fear and Faith"
For a new and struggling author, good reviews are like food and water - essential to our survival. I received notice of this review today and thought I would share.

Wow! In a great start to what promises to be a fantastic new series, Of Fear and Faith, the first book in the Death and Destiny Trilogy by author N.D. Jones, readers will be treated to a sexy read that is both exciting and full of all of the paranormal surprises that fans of this genre have come to love! Follow the story of the beautiful psychology professor, Sanura Williams, as she meets the very alluring special agent Assefa Berber. He's hunting a preternatural serial killer and needs her help. Her fear of an ancient prophecy makes her reluctant, but in the end, she assents and helps him. The couple battles some of the most dangerous creatures, the gods' first creation, and each step on their journey leads them closer to fulfilling the prophecy of becoming the Fire Witch and the Cat of Legend. But is that what Sanura wants? You'll have to read the book to find out.
I very much enjoyed Of Fear and Faith. Author N.D. Jones has done a great job at creating character that her readers will connect with quickly and will care about. Her story line has an instant hook and will keep readers obsessively reading from the start to the finish, unable to put the book down. In fact, the best piece of advice I have for readers, besides being sure to read Of Faith and Fear, is to set aside time to read the whole thing at once; you simply will not want to put it down. I am pleased to recommend this book, and will be eagerly waiting for author N.D. Jones' next book!

"Fire, Fury, Faith" Audiobook On Sale
My first audiobook went live today on Audible, Amazon, and iTunes. I'm a newbie at all of this, so I'm pretty excited. It's a cool new adventure I hope current and new supporters will enjoy.

"Fire, Fury, Faith" Audiobook
For those authors, like me, who are new to the audiobook process, it is an interesting endeavor. I listen to audiobooks all the time, with my two hour daily work commute. Audiobooks are wonderful and have kept me awake and mentally engaged during long, boring drives. But now I'm on the opposite end, having just contracted my first audiobook through Audiobook Creation Exchange.
ACX is a great Amazon platform that helps connect authors with voice producers. It took me a month to select the right voice producer for "Fire, Fury, Faith." There were many great auditions, but none of the voices captured what I was looking for. Funny, I didn't know precisely what I was looking for, beyond a West African accent, until I started listening to the auditions.
A note for those authors interested in going this route - use the producers page to search for the right voice for your story. Searching takes time and patience, but finding the right fit for your novel makes the effort well worth the time.
Ryan Vincent Anderson (http://www.ryanvanderson.com/) will be producing my first audiobook. His voice is strong, romantic, and dramatic, in all the right places, perfect for a paranormal romance novella.
The "Fire, Fury, Faith" audiobook should be out in time for the holidays.

East Coast Comic Book Convention
On May 16th, 2015, I attended the 14th annual East Coast Black Comic Book Convention (ECBACC) in Philly. It was my first as a vendor and it proved to be a wonderful learning experience. Talented African American writers and illustrators abounded, the products of their hard work, grit, and passion an empowering sight to behold.
