"Of Beasts and Bonds" Book Trailer
For my first three books, I've created my own book trailer, including the trailer for my "Fire, Fury, Faith" audiobook. After seeing some great After Effects templates on Videohive however, I decided to give one a try. I found a template I liked and that matched the paranormal theme of my book. And if you're an author and never used a designer from Fiverr, you should give the site a look. Some of the designers are excellent, churning out great book covers and trailers.
So I got my book trailer back today and posted it here. Take a look and let me know what you think.

Just a reminder, I'm running a countdown to release day giveaway for Of Beasts and Bonds. If you haven't entered, you still have time. Giveaway ends on August 18th. http://ow.ly/NSYi302rSBQ

Romance author Karen Aminadra
is celebrating the launch of her eighth novel, "The Suitable Bride," which will be released on July 15th and is available for pre-order now. http://amzn.to/29Lt0ZG

"The Suitable Bride" is book 2 in The Emberton Brothers series and is a clean Regency romance novel.
In the first novel, we followed the story of Richard, the eldest of the three brothers. In this book, we follow Edward the middle one.
Edward is the driven one out of the three. He has spent years working hard at achieving his dream. He’s a politician and dreams of being Prime Minister of Britain one day. He knows the advantages there are to be had in marrying and is eager to find a bride from amongst the set who will help advance his career.
Frances Davenport is the daughter of a lord. She is privileged and has led a life that has had its ups and downs…literally speaking ;-) She’s a little naughty. Of Fear and Faith Blog Tour
Today began the first day of my two-week blog tour (May 2nd-16th) through Bewitching Blog Tours. First stop, The Recipe Fairy.
The stop includes a book spotlight and book review. In addition, there's a nice "About the Author" section and an excerpt from
Of Fear and Faith.
Check out both at The Recipe Fairy. I will, however, post the book review here.
"An absolutely exciting read! From the very beginning, you're thrown into a world of mythology, mystery and sizzling hot romance. The storyline is very unique and original, the dialogue was well rounded and the characters were complex and intricate. I loved how a paranormal thriller murder mystery is easily intertwined with some hot romantic tension! The characters are very intricate with layers of intrigue that slowly get revealed throughout the book and the original storyline is absolutely gripping! I've never read a book about African mythology, and I must say I'm heavily impressed and will definitely love reading more books in this series!" --The Recipe Fairy

Thanks to The Recipe Fairy for hosting "Of Fear and Faith."

N.D. Jones Author Interview with Stephanie Ingram
Today, fantasy and paranormal romance author, Stephanie Ingram, shared my author interview with her readers. Thank you, Stephanie.
I would like to welcome N.D Jones to my blog today. She is the author of the new book, Of Fear and Faith. Stay tuned for details where you can view the book trailer, participate in a giveaway, and download a copy of the book at the end of the interview. But first, let’s get to know a little about the author…
When did you know you wanted to be a writer?
I began writing because no matter how many romance novels I read or listened to, paranormal or otherwise, I was often left with the feeling of being left out. What do I mean by that? What I mean is that African American love, even in the 21st century, isn’t a part of the popular social media complex. It’s evident in most of the novels in bookstores and libraries, as well as books turned into movies. So I asked myself: Where is my story? Who’s going to tell my story? Then I stopped complaining and decided to write the stories I wanted to read. And maybe, just maybe, people will read my stories and see a bit of themselves and their special love between the pages of my books.
What is your most interesting or craziest writing quirk?
I don’t think I have a particularly interesting or crazy writing quirk, and this may not qualify, but I tend to write my action sequences like comic book scenes. Well, not exactly, but I use a lot of SFX when I write my action sequences. Not POW, like in old Batman and Robin comics, because, well, that’s just a little too corny nowadays. But thud, crack, smack, pop, yeah, you’ll find those sound effects in my stories. What can I say, I enjoy comics, so I find nothing wrong with adding a bit of a comic book flavor to my novels. Now that I’ve answered the question, maybe that is a tad quirky. You decide.

Book Viral Spotlight
The Book Viral spotlight for Of Fear and Faith
went live today.
Here's the review
A hugely entertaining read, when it comes to originality it doesn’t get any better than Of Fear and Faith, the first release in the Death and Destiny Trilogy series from N D Jones. A dark supernatural fantasy, Jones has looked to myth and legend for her inspiration to deliver a high octane read that confidently eschews well-worn clichés. Quickly building tension and suspense she plays with our apprehensions, maintaining focus and intensity whilst wisely avoiding easy shock tactics. In another author’s hand, it could have been a mawkish blend of two kinds of thrillers, police and supernatural, but the result is an intelligent narrative which retains a sense of combustibility throughout. Needless to say, the sparks fly between Sanura and Assefa as their relationship develops with Jones finding and holding a tantalizingly erotic tone for their encounters. They certainly make for original and compelling protagonists, but more importantly they have the luminosity to kick-start an exciting new series.
With an intriguing and competently executed plot, Of Fear and Faith is a hugely entertaining read that bodes well for future releases in the Death and Destiny Trilogy series. Sure to win N D Jones a host of enthusiastic new followers it is highly recommended!
Recommend "Of Fear and Faith" for the coveted BookViral Scarlet Quill. These are spotlighted novels which have received reader endorsements from over 100 of our readers. Go to http://bookviral.com/of-fear-and-faith/4592008887
