Of Deception and Divinity, Death and Destiny Trilogy, Book 3

Death and Destiny Trilogy, Book 3 Title Revealed
I approved the final proof of my book cover for the third and final installment of Death and Destiny, my paranormal romance trilogy. Until today, I haven't revealed the title of the book. Well, that ends now. The third book is entitled "Of Deception and Divinity." Whereas book two, Of Beasts and Bonds, was primarily Assefa's arc. The new book is definitely Sanura's arc.
She grows in ways that have been truly fun to write. Her relationship with self and Assefa are tested and secrets are finally revealed.

Death and Destiny Trilogy, Book 3 Update
I have a bad habit, or good, depending on your perspective, of killing people in this series. I never thought of myself as a murderer but, apparently, I am. Before settling down to write a chapter yesterday, I told my daughter, "I'm off to kill a witch." Her response, because she's 15 and I had only part of her attention, was "What?"
I explained about the witch, which we'd talked about before. Then her response became, "Good, I don't like her anyway," quickly followed by, "Stab, stab, stab."
The moral of the story, don't discuss the killing of fictional characters with your children. They may surprise you with their own murderous tendencies.

National Novel Writing Month
November is National Novel Writing Month
"National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) is a fun, seat-of-your-pants approach to creative writing. On November 1, participants begin working towards the goal of writing a 50,000-word novel by 11:59 PM on November 30."
I reached the 50,000 word mark but the novel isn't complete yet, so I'm still working throughout this month to finish the first draft of "Bound Souls," a science fiction romance. This is my first science fiction novel, which I consider more sci-fi lite for those hardcore sci-fi readers out there. It's also a lot tamer than my paranormal romance novels and has an interesting twist on a love triangle and the concept of life after death.
My goal is to release "Bound Souls" in early 2017. I hired an artist to create an original cover design, which is pretty exciting. I'll share a teaser once I approve the sketch. So, stay tuned for more on my upcoming novel.
