Naughty Boys in the Backseat...
Now there's a name that gets my attention. And, as with all my blog posts, this contains M/M subject matter. Run screaming now if that's not your cuppa. However, if you're now yelling, "Bring on the naughty boys!" then by all means please continue. The site hasn't been around very long, but it has a very nice layout and seems most promising. They were kind enough to review The Angel of 13th Street, review found here: http://naughtyinthebackseat.com/boysb...
The also conducted an interview to be posted at a later date.

Sadly, due to time constraints, she'll be closing her blog in June, but I dearly loved the reviews, interviews, and just plain fun of her site.
Oh, forgot interview she did! Here it is!

Several of you here have left kind words and ratings that are deeply appreciated. Glad you liked Noah and Jeremy's happy ever after, especially since I made them work so hard to get there.

I'm not sure what day it'll happen, but there will be a contest sometime this week at reveiwsbyjessewave for a copy of The Angel of 13th Street. So if you'd like to enter, keep a watch on that site.
Be warned that it's a site that reviews m/m books. It's also a great place to read reviews on the latest books, compelling author interviews, and enter daily contests for free books. Soon there will be a feature on advice from established writers to new writers of this genre that's bound to be very enlightening.
Here's the link.

Sale at Fictionwise
I love books, I love bargains, I love Fictionwise Ebooks for having an anniversary sale. So far I've snagged six books that were on my TBR list, and plan to go back for more. Their anniversary sale is 40% off but, sadly, I didn't realize that this weekend only I could have gotten an additional 5% by using the coupon code "Bonus5" when I checked out. Oh well, one more reason to go back and buy more books! Check it out! I even have one title there right now, "The Wish."
Here's the link. Happy shopping!

First Review for The Angel of 13th Street
It starts with a single idea, or perhaps an image comes to mind. Maybe you read an interesting new article that sparks your interest. However it starts, the resulting plot bunny soon becomes a snowball rolling downhill, gradually gaining momentum until it consumes your life.
There's the writing, the edits, the proofing, rewrites, more edits, etc., then, at long last the book publishes. You eagerly open your copy, marveling at months of hard work coming to fruition, and then spend the next few hours horrified, wishing you'd phased a passage differently, or (horror of horrors!) you find an error.
You shiver in your boots, thinking about the errors that multiply like bunnies (and not the plot kind) in your mind, just waiting for someone to say something...
Then, you get a review like this: http://www.reviewsbyjessewave.com/?p=...
All's good in the world again. Thanks to the wonderful folks at reviewsbyjessewave, and to the well-spoken John who reviewed the book.

The Angel of 13th Street Giveaway
On Saturday, May 15th, I'll be the host at Torquere Press' Live Journal. If you don't know about the journal, it's a great place to hang out, get to know your favorite Torquere authors better, and win free reads.
Warning: All the sites and links listed below are intended for mature audiences who are not offended by m/m romances and all they entail.
http://community.livejournal.com/torq...
I have two freebies up for grabs that day, a copy of The Angel of 13th Street, which is due out May 12, and I'll also be giving a copy of Boy Under the Bridge, a spin-off tale about a minor character from The Wish.
I hope to see you there.
Chris, on her wonderful blog, Stumbling Over Chaos, also has a contest for a copy, along with great reviews and pictures of her adorable cats, Chaos and Mayhem:
http://www.stumblingoverchaos.com/arc...
Her site is a great one to hang out at; she has contests for freebies on a regular basis.
Two other great blogs that I enjoy are reviewsbyjessewave http://www.reviewsbyjessewave.com/ and Jenre's Well Read, http://jenre-wellread.blogspot.com/ which, hopefully, will each host a giveaway. The Telling free download is also at reveiwsbyjessewave. Sadly, Jenre's blog will close in June, but she's agreed to review The Angel of Thirteenth Street before then. She's also posting an interview with yours truly on Monday, May 10th, unless there's been a change.
There's many more review blogs I enjoy, but I'll discuss them in future posts, as the list is long and the many things I like about them tends to make me ramble.
