Interview with Liam Ryan

Describe yourself in 3 sentences. Who is Liam Ryan?
This question is not as straightforward as it appears because there are two Liam Ryans! The first one was an architect who was very much minding his own business in the world and was never destined to reach beyond his own circle or write a book. Then after being diagnosed with one of the worst cases of Head & Neck cancers ever seen in 2002 and given no hope, Liam Ryan No. 2 eventually emerged with a story that ha...

The Dead Giveaway Club: Writers Who Can’t Lie Properly

After all, they make things up for a living and so many of their stories are downright crimes against reality that bending the truth in real life ought to be second nature to them. It is—but sadly (and amusingly) writers are not nearly as good at it as they should be. Fiction writing is a profession that actually mandates routine, bold-faced, shameless lying. No lies—no sales. Who's Who in Consuela

The Consuela (Valley Stories #2) ebook is now available on Amazon. It is priced at $.99 for a limited time and the first story, Alyce, is free December 5-7. I hope to release Victoria sometime in the spring, and am already mulling plans for a fourth book, Marie (a retelling of Rapunzel.) I never meant this set of stories to spring up from Alyce, which I always viewed as standalone.

Here's a list of the characters from Consuela. It was fun finding actors and models who resembled them, since any...
