Cariad

The Welsh term of endearment is now also a Welsh romance imprint, presided over by Accent Press.

As part of its launch, my two former Secret Library novellas,Bewitched in Budapest andUnder The Mistletoe have had a spruce up and been given the Cariad logo. Take a look – they’re available in their new jackets right now.

Amy Valenti Is Not Your Damn Submissive

How great is that title? I love it, and the blurb that goes with it. And, most of all, I’m loving having Amy Valenti on the blog to cheer my Monday morning. Welcome, Amy!

Challenging Characters

A title like Not Your Damn Submissive probably gives a reader certain expectations. A bratty sub playing resistance games would be the most obvious conclusion to draw, and while there’s an element of that in the novel I wrote, my brain decided to make things complicated.

Free Festival

I might be showing my age, but to me, the phrase ‘free festival’ evokes images of camp fires, cider bottles and old ambulances painted with CND symbols.

The HarperCollins Virtual Romance Festival is nothing like that, though, and it’s on all weekend. Come and feel the love.

Master of the House

I find it hard not to think of this book as ‘Man About The House’, for some reason, but it isn’t – the house has a master, and the master is called Joss, and Joss is the hero of my newly published Mischief novel,Master of the House.
