Views on Reviews
When it comes to reviews, I try to keep a clear head and do that thing of treating those triumph & disaster imposters just the same, but every now and then a good review can be balm to my troubled soul. So it is today, on alighting on my first review ofLecture Notes and finding it be good. A little spoonful of sugar to help the medicine go down. Thanks, Jo!

Xcite October Must Reads #3 – Calendar Girl by Sommer Marsden
Calendar Girlby Sommer Marsden is my third October must-read, but really, any and every book by this author falls under that heading. Sommer is simply one of the best erotic writers working today and she has amazing range too. If you haven’t read her, you’re missing a treat.
Merritt Evans is expecting a lot out of her marriage but what she is not expecting is to come home to find her husband Drake diddling with the local trainer. Thanks to friends in high places, Merritt’s divorced by the new...

To Sir, With Love
Students crushing on teachers. It’s not exactly a novel concept. Who hasn’t? And I suppose that’s what makes this trope so appealing. In fiction, you get to live and indulge your infatuation with no adverse consequences. Nobody is going to get the sack and nobody is going to wake up one day and realise that they were taken for a ride by an unscrupulous older person who should have known better.
Thus it is for Beth and Sinclair. Their relationship shouldn’t work, couldn’t work in the real world...

Kay Jaybee Is Retreating – But Not Giving In
You’ve all readThe Perfect Submissive, right? If not, hie thee to a bookshop because the sequel to this BDSM goodie is out now, and you’re going to want to read it. Here’s Kay Jaybee, to tell us all about it. Welcome, Kay!
Retreating-But Not Giving In…
I’m delighted to have been invited over to Justine’s site today- where better than to share a little information of my latest BDSM novel, than with the mistress of the genre herself!
The sequel to my bestselling novel (I love saying that!!), The P...

Lecture Notes – The Foreword
I wrote a little foreword forLecture Notes. Here it is:
I wrote Lecture Notes in 2007/2008, some four years before Fifty Shades of Grey made its international splash, the backwash of which we continue to experience now.
There are some similarities in theme – Beth is, while not a virgin, far from experienced. Sinclair is in a position of power. At first, the relationship is one of glaring inequality and I make no apology for this, but simply ask you to stick with it.
I know you’re more than intel...
Xcite October Must Reads #2 – Three In A Bed by Monica Belle
Here’s another Xcite Must Read for the lengthening autumn evenings – this one isThree In A Bedby Monica Belle.
Small, pretty, pleasant, and a bit of a geek, Paige is the perfect employee for Araminta Henderson, the feisty owner of the Lifelong Dating Agency. She s certainly not the sort of person to stand up to her domineering boss and even less likely to go out on dates with sexually demanding strangers. Until one day she finds herself in a position where she has very little choice but to acq...

Sommer Marsden Is Tied Up And Twisted
Hoorah! Sommer’s at my place and she’s going to put you in bondage. Isn’t that the best offer you’ve had all day? It is for me! Welcome back, Sommer!
I’ve tried my hand a time or two (ahem) at bondage scenes, but I don’t think I’ve ever written a true bondage scene between two women until I wrote Restricted Release.
Something in me begged to make it a bit softer. Soft bondage. If you get me. I wanted it to have a distinctly feminine feel. I wanted it to be magical and sort of surreal.
Somehow th...

Lecture Notes
Yes, at last! After hour upon hour of reformatting so that all my double spaces following full stops became single spaces,Lecture Notesis finally fit to print and live on Amazon for Kindle.
And if Emmy Ellis’s beautiful cover doesn’t sell it, I don’t know what will.
Lecture Notes was my first original novel-length erotic story, written in 2007. Whilst there are things about it I might change if I wrote it today, my heart still belongs to Beth and Sinclair and I hope they’ll gain some new friend...
Xcite October Must Reads #1 – An Executive Decision by Grace Marshall
Xcite are having a promotion this month, and my book,Meeting Her Match, is a part of it. But it isn’t alone! Five other books are included, all worth your time and money, so I decided to go ahead and take a look at each of them over the course of the month.
First of all, we haveAn Executive Decisionby Grace Marshall.
Overworked CEO Ellison Thorne has no time for sex, let alone romance. The only answer, at least where his retiring business partner Beverly is concerned, is a no-strings sex clause...
