YO’ MAMA & SHAKESPEARE - Voice Over Request

Hey everyone - we have a quick update & voice over request for our “YO’ MAMA & SHAKESPEARE” animation. CONTRIBUTE HERE

The short film is coming together really great - you can check out the reference videoHERE that features lead animation from MarieIv and WallyTheWaffle.

In the current cut, JohnnyCallMe is performing the voice over for the following three characters: Demetrious, Aaron, and Chiron. His performances of each character are awesome, but we also want to open up the opportunity to the entire community to perform each of these roles.

Here’s how you can contribute:

VOICE OVER ARTISTS: Contribute a voice over performance of one of the following three characters:

DEMETRIOUS: “Villain, what hast thou done?”AARON: Line 1 - “That which thou canst not undo.”

                      Line 2 - “Villain, I have done thy mother.”

CHIRON: “Thou hast undone our mother.”

==

ADDITIONAL NOTE: Please record your voice over performances in a quiet spot and feel free to record as many takes as you would like. Also, although these characters are male - this request is open to both male and female performers.

Regarding the theme of “Fire”, of course the first...

Regarding the theme of “Fire”, of course the first thing I thought of was my brother, dan. We used to do this thing where we’d try to get our heart beats going as hard as we could, me by playing drums, and him by spinning fire. We’d push each other further and further, the harder I’d play, the harder he’d spin, and the more frenzied his fire dancing, the faster my tempo. Finally, when his poi would run out of fuel and the flames would go out, we’d hurry over and put our hands on each other’s hearts to see how hard we got them pumping. So, this segment of Hit Record On TV is a tribute to those times, which are some of my fondest memories of our grown-up years (of course, they can only barely compete with the pillow fights we’d have when we were kids).

Dan helped me start hitRECord ten years ago, and he’d be ecstatic to see that we’re making a whole TV show nowadays. But, ever the optimist, I don’t think he’d be surprised.

Excelsior!
